With a bunch of new Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom TV spots on the way next month during the Super Bowl, we wonder if Universal will further tease the unveiling of their new super predator - the Indoraptor! Up until this moment the studio and those involved with Fallen Kingdom's production have tried to keep the look of this new antagonistic Dinosaur a secret - much like their efforts with the Indominus Rex during the build up to Jurassic World's initial release - but that design leaked prematurely thanks to the film's merchandizing campaigns. A similar leak did occur last year regarding the Indoraptor but Universal moved quickly to remove them - we decided against sharing them ourselves to better preserve the surprise.
Today we're showcasing some more fan artwork inspired by the Indoraptor - more so to see just how close these fans were with their designs to what the actual Dinosaur will look like in Jurassic World 2. The artwork comes from a variety of sources. Credits to the original artists:
The Indoraptor will apparently be more intelligent and more aggressive than the Indominus Rex. Will we see Rexy and Blue team up once again to take on this new hybrid? Is that something you would enjoy seeing? Let us know in the comments and feel free to share your own Indoraptor fan art with us!
Now that Jurassic World Rebirth has been released, check out interesting concept artwork from the film! You can also find behind-the-scenes production photos in our image gallery, here!
