Jurassic World Wraps Up Filming!

After nearly fourth months of filming, director Colin Trevorrow has once again turned to the social platform for the stars, Twitter, to announce that filming on Jurassic World has finally been completed. Filming for the eagerly anticipated sequel to the original trilogy started by director Steven Spielberg, began on April 14th in Kauai, Hawaii, before moving to New Orleans on June 30th.

The movie starring Guardians of the Galaxy's Chris Pratt, Terminator Salvations Bryce Dallas Howard and Iron Man 3's Ty Simpkins, will return to the Isla Nublar, where billionaire John Hammonds dream of an island theme park with living Dinosaur attractions has finally become reality, under the Patel Corporation. The gates to Jurassic World open June 12th, 2015.

C'mon guys! They barely finished filming. We shouldn't expect a trailer until around October or November. Yes, it would be great to get one, but for now we have to be patient.

This is ENTHRALLING news!!! Now the countdown really begins, everyone.

But as Evan123 and Spinojira have put it, we shouldn't expect a teaser or even a trailer for that matter anytime within the next 4-5 months. Simply put, the people editing the film now have to refine it piece by piece, to leave no stone unturned to make sure the film looks and feels fantastic. (Which it will) So din't get your hopes up just yet, guys.

What??Has it been all completed yet? Just after 4 months? What the crap will this movie be? I thought they'd take at least 8 months,they shortened the time...bha,I hope it won't be a shitty film....after all that long time of preparations and waiting,now it's all done? Strange......generally hard movies to make like JP with all those special effects should take longer time of filming..... Whatever,I will wait for the trailer,and hope it will be nice to watch next year....

Filming's done. That doesn't mean it's done. There's still all the work that goes into picking the scenes they want to use, edit them, add CGI, etc.

It took the first JP 3 months to film, and it shattered the box office. Kachynus, how in the hell could you even doubt this movie? I'm trying to imagine why you would say such a thing when we all pretty much know this one's gonna kick major ass as well.

@Rex Fan 684 and MuldoonLives,ok,maybe I sounded like too much drastic and negative for saying that,without knowing the right times of editing,but I just got worried it was all already done....in fact later on I read the other topic of post-production. I did not think that there was still much time left for the Post-Production,indeed.. I don't know well the times of post-production and how long they normally take,maybe another 4-5 months with picking the scenes and adding special effects? Anyway,I did not want to sound offensive at all,cos I'm a big fan like all of you who wants and hopes to see a great JP4 soon.
