Veteran Jurassic Park actor Sam Neill, who portrayed the Paleontologist Alan Grant, who will also be reprising his iconic role in Jurassic World Dominion (Jurassic World 3) suggests filming on the third Jurassic World film should move to Australia after production came to a grinding halt after only 2 weeks due to the Coronavirus outbreak in London.
According to a recentĀ interview, Sam Neill explains prior to the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, he was in London waiting for his screentime to begin. Unfortunately London still remains a "mess" and is in no condition for Universal to resume filming just yet. However, with certain areas now beginning to re-open various industries, Neill suggests filming move to Australia, where the impact of the novel virus seems to have subsided more by comparison.
Sam Neill will join other Jurassic Park veterans Jeff Goldblum and Laura Dern in the next Jurassic World movie. As it stands, there is now word from Universal on when filming will pick up again, but if production does move to Australia, we'll be sure to let you know!
