Fans looking forward to Jurassic World 3 (2021) will be happy to know that the creative talent behind the practical Dinosaur effects from Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will be returning to manage the practical effects in Jurassic World 3! During the creatures and animatronics panel at Star Wars Celebration, Neal Scanlan confirmed his team would be returning for the third and final installment in Universal's Jurassic World trilogy. Check out the video below for the panel re-cap:
Although Fallen Kingdom did make huge improvements from Jurassic World with regards to utilizing practical effects over relying heavily on CGI to bring Dinosaurs to life, the sequel still failed to captivate audiences the way the original Jurassic Park trilogy did with the craftsmanship of Stand Winston studios. We can only hope Neal and his Star Wars Creature Team have taken in the feedback fans have provided and deliver a truly immersive, realistic Dinosaur experience for the Jurassic World finale.
