During the early stages of production on Jurassic World, concept artists were comissioned to come up with versions of the film's groundbreaking new hybrid Dinosaur - the Indominus Rex (or I-Rex for short). One such artist named Ian Joyner was one of those selected to try their hand at creating the completely new Dinosaur and recently he's shared concepts of what he created to his ArtStation page! The concepts he created provide some neat alternatives to what the Indominus eventually became. Check them out below and let us know what you think in the comments section!

Jurassic World 2 Fallen Kingdom will also be introducing audiences to a new hybrid Dinosaur - the Indoraptor, a smaller, more nimble and more intelligent predator to the Indominus Rex. Be sure to check back often for more information on Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom's new Dinosaurs!

Now that Jurassic World Rebirth has been released, check out interesting concept artwork from the film! You can also find behind-the-scenes production photos in our image gallery, here!

Jurassic World Rebirth did extremely well during its theatrical run, earning Universal Pictures over $860 million at the global box office! The film reportedly cost $180 million.

Kinda wish that they went with one of these designs.

The yellow one is what I would've preferred to have seen in the movie. Of course they went with a worse design.

I like the movie design. Not a fan of the first one and the second looks too much like a Giganotosaurus or a Carcharodontosaurus.

^I know. But the second design looks like it was 90% Giganotosaurus.

^Well, it's either that, the pale movie design, or the hideous first design with an under-sized head.

Yea I think I like the final design better, 1st picture look like a dilo that ate to much McDonalds and the 2nd picture is pretty much 90% Gigano.

Interesting concepts. It is a pity that we will not see them on the screen. But you can always remove the branch from the main film or even create TV series using these concepts. T-Rex actually turned out GREAT !!!
