It is with heavy hearts we report the passing of Jurassic World actor Irrfan Khan. Confirmed by representatives of the actor, Khan passed away in a Mumbai hospital due to a severe colon infection. Khan was 53.
Irrfan Khan is known for many roles in major Hollywood blockbusters including Life of Pi and Jurassic World. In the first Jurassic World, he played the visionary investor Simon Masrani - the man responsible for re-opening the Dinosaur sanctuary on Isla Nublar and kick-starting a thrilling new series in the Jurassic franchise.
We send our prayers and condolences to Irrfan's family and friends. He will be missed. Rest in peace.
