well this is my first time posting anything on the jurassic world. :)
anyway hope this new movie turns out better than the previous 3, and my favorite dinosaur is the spinosaurus. :)
It doesn't make sense. If they're custom-engineering dinosaurs for the theme park guests, why would they purposely create the most dangerous animal imaginable? In the book, Wu wanted to make them slower and more docile, which would be more logical in a theme park setting than something so dangerous the guests can't even go near it. (And no, I don't want slower and more docile dinosaurs in the movie either. I don't want fictional dinosaurs at all, but I'm willing to give this a chance and see how it's handled and where they take it.)
do you think it might have a raptor claw on its middle toe? to make it even more interesting it might not even be on its toe. maybe it could on its finger. that could be cool. what kind pf venom could it have? i want to say something like a coral snake which is very deadly. your idea about seeing heat is cool too
@Cem on the map it doesn't show raptors as well, but we know they're still in the movie.
As for the T-rex kingdom, I thought it was going to be more like a kids play area or something, because take a look at it. It's fairly small, and placed right next to the visitors center. It is also color coded under "rides/attractions." I could be wrong, I was listening to the Jurassic World podcast and they were talking about it in that way, and it made sense (here's the link). Anyway, I'm excited, these new maps look promising!
My understanding from your Synopsis of D-REX, Is that we're dealing with a "Predator" Like animal, That Will only hunt living things as the leaked screen play tells us.
I think that your idea with the snake is dead on, They used to feed it dead animals, but after it expirenced the thrill of hunting a real one with heat vision, It would not take a dead one, (That also lends a tad to the raptors, Hunting for the fun of it).
I don't like D-Rex in JP, But it does peak my curiosity...
Guys do you think the D-Rex will have snake poison?
I hope we see more dinosaurs that were never introduced to the franchise.
The map looks like a pretty convincing park to me, thats similar to how imagine it would be if ever it were created
Thanks. We do see Muldoon kill stuff in the next few chapters.
It's possible, though I'd rather it not happen.
Same, and I'm seeing it in theaters too. With any luck, at the minimum, it'll top JP 3.
That's possible. If it wasn't being called Jurassic World and being classified a Jurassic Park, this would be awesome. As a Jurassic Park however, no, just no. It'll be interesting to see how it turns out.
It doesn't say D-Rex because I presume that they learn that this animal is far to dangerous to show to vistors never mind horrifying!
on the map it doesnt say d-rex so i hope he wont be in it

The map is legitimate.
I didn't see anything on here that would hint to the D-Rex being hazardous. It looks like its to keep any possible diseases from spreading to the main park from the quarentine pen but why would you want to go in the paddock knowing this animal is in there?
I still crack myself up with this, haha. It's also quite ironic now...
This is the D-rex paddock for sure, ingen doesn't authorize a paddock like this to be built unless it was ment to be quarentined and studied before letting the public see this new terrifying attraction
I just hope they can pull this off and make this monster look like an animal that used too exist. Have any photos of the D-rex been released yet or do we have to wait t to see for ourselves? The day scientists are actually to bring back a dinosaur (which should be almost any day now) I hope they dont do something like this.
Make sure you do. They are fascinating books.
Not a bad idea.
No, but I'm going to this summer.
Have you ever read the books?
All these scenes would be cool.
This is a sad day, there are many creatures they could have used like Carnotaurus or Utahraptor that could have easily taken the D rex's place. For heavens sake the Carnotaurus was already a chameleon so why did they need to create such an unrealistic cross breed? Still I am not getting my hopes up or down untill I see the movie.
Yes, in a way, I think it was kind of stupid to take THAT scene out of the book. I plan to read Stephen King's books one day, specifically The Shining.
The third scene of the first book reminds me enough of The Mist, wow how I love that movie, with the book is the same thing, Stephen King is a genius!
Well, I already showed you my weapon collection the other day...
