@ jarjarvideos I think procompsognathus (assuming that is what you meant) would be a better one for when the people think they are safe in a cave that is to big for T.Rex or Gigantosaurus or whatever the heck the big predator is. Procompsognathus was a chicken sized dinosaur. Are you by chance referring to the little green dinosaurs that killed the guy behind the log in the third movie? Also the same dinosaur that scared the little girl in the second movie, and the one that got electrocuted by the guy with the cattle prod.

i hated to see how Ellie and Grant were not together in part 3...i think they should have gotten back together in part 4

I've heard it is possible to mix bird and a little bit of reptile (maybe mammal) DNA to make a raptor like animal. That was from a 2007 or something like that doc. Now scientists are saying we could revive DNA from 50,000 years ago, so why not try 2 or 3 year old DNA to get a dinosaur? At least some idiots would come spend 2,000 on seeing a chicken-croc!

I think they should show a fake 20-30 min documentary about hammond's other theme parks, and then air a movie showing them making dinosaurs and testing DNA from Amber ~Dr.Grant, my dear Dr.Satler, welcome...to Jurassic Park!~

I think that the end should have been an action-adventure ending, just not the one they gave. I mean, although it is fun to imagine, it kinda stunk. And just for the record, a female rex is bigger than a male, so why the heck would you put a male tyrannosaur on the mainland. I think the ending should have been something like this: They were still on the island, and had no way to get home. They then stole supplies from inGen, and got plenty of food to survive for a while. But during the night, it is stolen by raptors. The leader gets ticked and goes to hunt them down, but just then, a rescue chopper arrives and rescues them, just as they're taking off, you see a large set of teeth and a giant back appears from the trees. (Implying the larger, more-of-a-killer Spinosaur for JP III

Wait!! Everyone (even me) keeps forgetting about the Pteradons (or Pteradactles, which ever they were) that were flying to the mainland!

I think the new one should be a small but deadly predator like the Procompthagnisius from the first and second books, or the (I forget the name) new dinosaur introduced into the Jurassic Park game. That would be harder to contend with. Of course it shouldn't be the only enemy, but quite possibly the main one. Perhaps it would be the recently discovered rat like dinosaur, who knows?

HAMMOND IS DEAD PEOPLE! I keep seeing people say "Hammond, Grant, Sattler, and Malcom are back" well, Hammond's dead, Grant would be redundant (yet still enjoyable), Sattler's got a husband and a kid, and Malcom already has his own movie. However, i don't think they should eliminate the familiar cast, but maybe the main characters could be some of the side characters in the past. Just an idea, hope people agree with/like it. P.S. @huenga , I do agree with the late night radio show idea, and I also like the aquatics idea, just not the friendly dinos part. Plus, most people didn't like Wu, and he died in the book (not saying we should stick to the book, they clearly didn't) P.P.S. I don't, However, think that the aquatic animals should be the main plot, but the should be significant. Also, lewis dodgeson isn't talked about enough in the films, I think he should be the main antagonist in this one. That's all for now, hope you enjoyed it! :)

I think there is still an unseen back story even with the boat crash because, if you read the first book, raptors stowed away on ships, and I think that's what happened to the crew. The raptors could have been eaten as Geeker said, but where's the fun in that? As for the T-rex baby eating the crew, that would be illogical. First off, Baby Tyrannosaurus-Rexes relied on their parents for food, as per the second novel in the series, the one this film was based on. Second off, the baby was in the cargo shaft hobbling around on its broken leg when (I forget his name, but he's the new owner of InGen) came in to retrieve it. And thirdly, how would a baby Tyrannosaurus eat that much? I was a REALLY big boat and had to have at least fifteen crewmen on board, that's probably a fair sized snack to a full grown one. A good sized snack would also be about four to five infants (at that stage of infancy) probably more.

@dinosaur.fanatic yh i loved that bit wen grant was like "ahhhhhh" haha it is funny! in JP3 i think that scene needed to go on for at least another 30secs. And could have been better if they got injuries as apposed to death. Cos for the movie sake they made spino the new "big guy on the block" and so made him win (which i thinks bolox) but thats an opinion. Would have been cool if say spino had an arm bitten off or summin , if rex HAD to die so at least its not in complete vein! Or even have a fight n then before either is killed one backs down n runs off to live another day untill they meet AGAiN !! . That does happen in animal kingdom very often .

I wonder if the Jurassic Park telltale game sheds us any clues to what will be in the 4th film. In the game they is an unfinished marine exhibit and inside lies the Tylosaurus (underwater dinosaur). Maybe this creature has escaped and has been spotted terrorizing the ocean recently? Here is some more info about it. http://jurassicpark.wikia.com/wiki/Marine_Facility However, I do know that there is absolutely no mention of any marine exhibit in the book so maybe they stray away from such a thing. We do know there will be a new dino. But maybe the poisonous night dino from the telltale game is the "dino every one will be afraid of when you turn off the light"... Who knows. The speculation goes on!

Giga was in fact bigger than Rex, however I like MrHappy's point that bigger isn't always meaner. You really can't tell with all the debate. Spino is taller and longer than rex, but with the fragile sail and smaller bite force, etc, he wouldn't be a worthy opponant. same goes for Giga, it's really hard to tell who would win. Giga IS bigger, but the whole pack dynamic is different, the skull is thinner, lots of variables to consider. I personally favor rex over giga. Here's my thought: should rex even have a competitor in JPIV? Or, should a large superpredator take rex's place, and there not be any competition? Maybe another Rex-vs.-Spino-esq fight would be too similar to Jurassic Park III. I'm not opposed to the idea, but if a fight between superpredators will occur, the scene itself should be longer, more complicated, and have the movie characters right in between. I love the part in Jurassic Park III where Grant is stuck between rex and Spino and is screaming! So funny!

Now that I think about it, Lex did lock the door. So now the other raptors remain. So Muldoon fights off the raptor and escapes before it regains consciousness 5 minutes later (LOL).

Yh lex drops the pin in which stops the raptor from opening the door. Cos obv we no they can in the film.

@ Mr_Spino I have seen that video before (great choice to enforce your opinion). It shows that a Spino was a really powerful dinosaurs and should not be messed with. T.Rex had it's advantages and disadvantages versus Spino. Advantages: Bite force Intelligence Millions of years of evolution Binocular vision Disadvantages: Arms Speed Agility I am not biased in T.Rex's favour, I am just stating the facts. I will admit that Spino is really cool because of it's sail, and it's big arms for a predator of such size.

@Shrykull Yes, there were carnivores that were larger than T.Rex, but larger doesn't always mean meaner. T.Rex was a hunter that preyed on creatures like Triceratops, and Ankylosaurus (if there was no other food in sight and it was really hungry), but given the choice, would likely go for an Edmontosaurus. Of course, Giga took down Argentinasaurus in packs. T.Rex was a lone hunter, and if it did hunt in packs, it would likely be a family group until the kids were large enough that the mother thought they could take care of themselves and drove them away.

Marine reptiles do seem to be a popular concept, but I don't know how to work them into the plot because I doubt Ingen would have made them. I guess a large marine reptile could take out a cruise ship and the survivors swim or float to one of the islands. I am not really sure if the door got bolted shut, but it would be cool to have Muldoon in the story. Like I said before, you never know with movies. For example, JP3, the Rex bit Spino's neck and pushed it around a bit and Spino won. The first movie was great in 3D, didn't see if the door bolted shut or not (would it not have to lock manually from the outside for safety reasons, and Tim did not lock it if that is the case).

Giga head is really thin on top one bite from rex he would have no face left !!!! He was longer though, which to me means jack shit unless ur planning on using ya body as a bridge for things to run across. Rexy was built for battle . Lovin the idea o the two groups of ppl bein chased by both rex and giga n then meeting though! Tht was a fun idea , with an epic battle

There has been alot of ppl wanting marine reptiles. Im still on the fence with this one. I think it would be cool for a change. But unless they r in a park of their own i cant see it workin

I'd like to see new dinosaurs put into the film as well but I would be really happy if they kept some of the old dinos as well. Perhaps they can make this movie 3 hours long but still awesome if they have a good plot to go with it, then they can fit as many dinosaurs as they want. I'd still love to see T-Rex get his main role back though, they can have other big carnivorous dinosaurs but to me (and I'm sure to most other people on here), the T-Rex IS Jurassic Park.

I have played the board game i used to own but lost it in a move. From what i remember the games was fun but of course it was not as fun as watching the movie. It was a good game from my childhood.

Still, either way, I'd love to see it in a JP movie sometime.

Could be a good idea having interactions between dinosaurs. I mean, if you have a Triceratops escaping and threatening visitors, you could use a controlled stampede with other dinosaurs to manage the Triceratops, rather than chasing him in a helicopter. Other example could be having some domesticated dinosaurs to manage others, like a kind of modern pastors

No... Spinosaurus already beat T-rex... I don't want to rag on the king but there are much bigger and meaner dinosaurs and the T-rex has had his shining moments. They should include some more water Dinos like a Plesiosaurus, and more flying Dinos as well. They need to make this movie pretty crazy to keep the thrill factor. I want to feel genuine tension and fear, while still seeing a pleasant and well thought out story. God I wish I could be part of this so many Ideas...

I am really excited for JP4, I have spent the last few hours turning movie ideas over in my head but most of any good ideas have already been used in the first three movies. They will have to use some new science fiction magic to make this a good movie.

I was obsessed with dinosaurs as a child I had every dinosaur movie and toy you could ever think of and usede to play and create my own fantasy Dinosaur worlds. Jurassic Park ofcoarse became a very huge part of my childhood (My favorite Dinosaur toy ever was my Chaos Effect Velociraptoryx) and honestly is still very important to me. I remember seeing the second movie in theaters at the midnight showing when I was only six in 1997, that is in the top list of the greatest moments of my life. This game has to be made. Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis is not only the best Jurassic Park game it's the best tycoon style Dinosaur game as well. A sequel would be pure genious assuming they give it a healthy budget. As far as the other Jurassic Park games I am impartial they all have felt fairly lackluster compared to JPOG. I think a new game would be cool, say a survival game with a premise similar to farcry. Re-iterating the events of the first movie, you would play as a top security guard for the people invited to the first tour of Jurassic Park. At the beginning you would get an excellent Jeep tour of the free-roaming island that show cases many of the Dino-Enclosures and Dinosaurs you will have to revisit later in the game. There would more than likely be more than one Jeep route to cover all of the Enclosures and would likely be a few other attractions (Like the bird cage in JP3) the first hour or so of the game would be peaceful you get to see a few dinosaurs, get an Idea of the Islands layout. Obviously at some point things go awry and you are forced to fight for survival with precious Rare guns and ammo (Found on Dead guards or in security offices), or crafted weapons, and often be forced to flee from the Dinosaurs. As the game progresses you must bring the island systems back online and try to kill or return Dinosaurs back to there enclosures and interact with various people good, bad or otherwise that may have there own intentions. I think this would be an amazing game that would definitely satisfy people looking for the perfect Jurassic Park game experience.

I believe it is an absolute MUST to bring back at least Sam Neil. And personally I would love to see either Liam neeson, Tom Hanks, or even Ralph fiennes, in my opinion

i think when the group first gets on the island the rex and giga should attack them the giga should kill the rex (BUT recent research shows rex's traveld in herds) and near the end the pack of rexs comes and beats the bejesus out of the giga killing it and mauling it viciously

A battle between an Elasmosaurus, 46 feet long and 15-20 tons, against a Mosasaurus hoffimi, 50 feet long and 25+ tons, would be amazing. Mosasaurus would probably win, but it would still be cool.

Ok, here's a dinosaur against dinosaur analogy. Diplodocus was up to 90 feet long, but only weighed 10-15 tons. Brachiosaurus was only 75 feet long, but weighed 50 tons. Brachio was bigger than Diplo because it was heavier. Diplo was longer, but not as heavy. Same as Rex and Char. They are just proportioned differently. Heavier means bigger, and I think Rex was heavier. It was just more massivly built than Char. Don't get me wrong, Char was still massive.

@Geeker The baby T.Rex was captured and it was also brought to the mainland. The baby Rex was what the people (I forget who, I think the scientist women, Malcolm's daughter, and maybe Malcolm) used to bait the T.Rex back to the boat. At the end of the movie, remember the scene where it showed the different dinosaurs on the island, it showed the two parents standing with the baby walking between them? The movie was not really believable after the boat crash, but I was small when I saw the movie and never thought about it (I was 6, found a Jurassic Park tape, and wanted to watch it).

You know, it's thought that Megaraptor was actually a member of the allosaur family. It's sickle shaped claw actually went on the hand instead of the foot. For one thing, it was found in S. America. No raptor has ever been found in the southern hemisphere, but the allosaurs were some of the dominant predators of the southern continents.
