So am I, although my cousin Z-Tyrannus keeps reminding me he's almost as big as me ;)
ReplyDeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumIf You where a DinosaurSep 4, 2013
Good news is, I could just sit back and relax. I'm practically the biggest predator of my area

We'd be neighbors! Don't worry, I won't try to eat you, haha

I was looking into this... but I use a mac... and my PC is uh... doomed to say the least for it...
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumIf You where a DinosaurSep 4, 2013
Of course I would be a Tyrannosaurus

But if I can't be a T-rex, then I'd be a Tarbosaurus. Very similar, just a little smaller. Plus, unlike T-rex, it had a little more competition. I would not mind a fight or two once and a while. Plus, being a tyrannosaur, it may have been a pack animal. Would be nice to have back-up once and a while.

So do I. It would make sense for the female peacock to have very amazing feathers too.
ReplyDeltadromeusJurassic Park ForumLEGO rejects Jurassic Park set conceptSep 4, 2013
The Lego studios where horrible. Btw, I tried to make a Lego T. rex, and I failed miserably.
ReplyRex Fan 684Jurassic Park ForumLEGO rejects Jurassic Park set conceptSep 4, 2013
Yeah. I prefer lego over Kre-O. It's not even close. Kre-O is a cheap knock-off.
Lego did do something JP oriented once. They did Lego Studios and Jurassic Park III was included. Was not great, but it was ok.
Replyx_paden_xJurassic Park ForumLEGO rejects Jurassic Park set conceptSep 4, 2013
also if your like delta and me, still have some lego lingering around and are kinda disappointed by this... Build your own...
Replyx_paden_xJurassic Park ForumLEGO rejects Jurassic Park set conceptSep 4, 2013
If youll excuse my language...
DAMNIT
I do sometimes get sets and build them n' stuff... And honestly KREO building sets are horrible, they're mostly a shell, and horible minifigures...
Just... damn....
If lego took this on it would be great, I mean, legos been around way before the film came out, some of the people who watched it when they were kids probably played with some... KreO however is new and not honestly the best thing on the market....
DAMNIT!!!!!!
(also delta... I have the Dino HQ thing too, lego and dinosaurs hell yeah...)
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumThe Tyrannosaur Family TreeSep 4, 2013
I see them having a small crest. No crest is a little drastic, just a little. I see the females having at least a somewhat smaller crest.
ReplyDeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumThe Tyrannosaur Family TreeSep 4, 2013
I would imagine that the females wouldn't have a crest, or at least a fairly small one. The makes are the ones who have t show off.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumThe Tyrannosaur Family TreeSep 4, 2013
It's possible that females did not have large crests. It's so hard to tell if a dinosaur is male or female.
ReplyDeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumThe Tyrannosaur Family TreeSep 4, 2013
A female Sinotyrannus probably dotn have a head crest. S it would be almost impossible to tell them apart, besides color at least.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumThe Tyrannosaur Family TreeSep 4, 2013
Yep, pretty similar.
Sinotyrannus vs Yutyrannus is a good match-up for a number of reasons. They're about the same size, similar anatomy, etc. The only real difference is one had a large head crest.
ReplyDeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumThe Tyrannosaur Family TreeSep 4, 2013
Exactly, just like Sigilmassasaurus vs Deltadromeus.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumThe Tyrannosaur Family TreeSep 4, 2013
That's ok. Yutyrannus vs Sinotyrannus may have happened in real life, that's the best part.

ReplyDeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumThe Tyrannosaur Family TreeSep 4, 2013
Good point, sorry. Man, I'd like to see a battle between Sinotyrannus and Yutyrannus. I have even found a pic for it.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumThe Tyrannosaur Family TreeSep 4, 2013
I said their respective groups appeared during the mid-late Jurassic. I did not say they themselves did ;)
ReplyDeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumThe Tyrannosaur Family TreeSep 4, 2013
Interesting. Sinotyrannus and Yutyrannus were from the early Cretaceous, but other than that, I agree.

Has potential. Is the three finger thing a Birth Defect?
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumUpcoming StorySep 4, 2013
If you think you can do it, go for it. Sure there have been a fair amount of Tyrannosaurus stories, but if that's what you wanna write about, I say go for it. Good luck.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumBrachiosaurus the gentle giantSep 4, 2013
I see Brachiosaurus as being peaceful most of the time, but like any animal, if threatened, could be aggressive. And let me tell you, when 50+ tons of muscle fights back, watch out!
I see perhaps a splash of colors on the male's head, kinda like JP III

Like most, if not all, dinosaurs, Brachiosaurus was probably warm-blooded.
ReplyDeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumBrachiosaurus the gentle giantSep 4, 2013
Okay,
A. Brachiosaurus had to watch out for Allosaurus, Saurophaganax, A. amplexus or whatever the dinosaur is, and Torvosaurus. It is nowhere near safe.
B. I think it was peaceful, but not defenseless. Just look at an Elephant, normaly peaceful, but can be a vicious fighter.
C. I think it was warm blooded. Its tall neck was like a Giraffe's neck on steroids.
D. I think it had pretty dull colors. Browns, dark greens, a bit like the forest.
ReplyDeltadromeusJurassic Park ForumLEGO rejects Jurassic Park set conceptSep 4, 2013
It would be really nice if they did do it, and made it like Lego dino. The Lego dino sets have very good dinosaur molds. They already have T. rex, the Ceolophyisis could be easily changed into velociraptor, and the Utahraptor could be changed into Ceratosaurus or Dilophosaurus. And I'm a very big Lego collector. Used to have TONS of Lego Star Wars, and I still have them broken up somewhere in my room. I currently have the Lego Dino Defense HQ from Lego dino, and I remade and modified my old Lego aqua raiders squid attack. I'm a real Lego and dino nerd, who loves simulation video games.

I want primal carnage. It lets you go around and eat people, and I really hate story lines. So, I'm not getting it.
ReplyDeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumUpcoming StorySep 4, 2013
May I just say something, don't. There has already been to many T. rex story's and one with a 3 fingered T. rex, it would have to be very good

My favorite Pliosaur is Kronosaurus

Also we mostly forget about the herbivores, maybe we can make an art post where people post they're designs of dinosaurs, could be fun

Is there a possibility they were colorful?
ReplyScubaDinoJurassic Park ForumTeam Raptor PetitionSep 4, 2013
If a big enough pack of raptors all mob a larger animal lets say spino then there is a chance they would bring it down this was probably there hunting technique anyway, and I support that they are the 3rd power in JP and put my vote in for team raptor- ScubaDino
ReplyLord VaderDinosaurs ForumBrachiosaurus the gentle giantSep 4, 2013
I see Brachiosaurus as a peaceful creature. It was so big that it didn't need to have any form of defence other than size and its tail. They were probably a dull colour in my opinion.
ReplyThe forgotten kingDinosaurs ForumEveryone Disappeared....Sep 3, 2013
I think I have a solution to our problems, people come her to talk about mostly dinosaurs so we must start more discussions to lure people in,also I think we should expand from dinosaurs and start including sea-reptiles and Pterosaurs.

XBOX is owned by microsoft, JPOG only works on the PC but age has something to do with it as well and possibly, as well as Licensing rights and more legal stuff I don't really understand too well but you get my point...
we may see some on PS4 & xbox 1 but y'never know...
Replytyrant963Dinosaurs ForumSpeckles the Tarbosaurus Sep 3, 2013
Yeah i agree there are some bugs but intresting
ReplyLord VaderDinosaurs ForumSpeckles the Tarbosaurus Sep 3, 2013
I've seen it before on YouTube. I didn't think highly of it, but for the entertainment value, it was interesting. The first voice was annoying to me, and seriously, Speckles was the best name they could come up with?
The one part was funny though. The part where he had (I think) thrown One Eye off the edge, and kinda like the Rex in Jurassic Park, raised his head, but instead of roaring, said "I am Speckles!"
