LEGO rejects Jurassic Park set concept

Unfortunately, LEGO has canned the recently reported [url=http://www.jurassicpark4-movie.com/community/forums/topic/27217]Jurassic Park Lego set[/url] due to Hasbro's existing deal with Kre-O for Jurassic Park construction sets, according to [i]toynews-online.biz[/i]. This is kind of unfortunate, because even though I'm not a Lego collector myself, I still think this set would've been an awesome way to help promote [b]Jurassic Park 4[/b]. Oh well - We can only imagine what it would have been like if this set actually ever got made. It would be really nice if they did do it, and made it like Lego dino. The Lego dino sets have very good dinosaur molds. They already have T. rex, the Ceolophyisis could be easily changed into velociraptor, and the Utahraptor could be changed into Ceratosaurus or Dilophosaurus. And I'm a very big Lego collector. Used to have TONS of Lego Star Wars, and I still have them broken up somewhere in my room. I currently have the Lego Dino Defense HQ from Lego dino, and I remade and modified my old Lego aqua raiders squid attack. I'm a real Lego and dino nerd, who loves simulation video games.

If youll excuse my language... DAMNIT I do sometimes get sets and build them n' stuff... And honestly KREO building sets are horrible, they're mostly a shell, and horible minifigures... Just... damn.... If lego took this on it would be great, I mean, legos been around way before the film came out, some of the people who watched it when they were kids probably played with some... KreO however is new and not honestly the best thing on the market.... DAMNIT!!!!!! (also delta... I have the Dino HQ thing too, lego and dinosaurs hell yeah...)

Yeah. I prefer lego over Kre-O. It's not even close. Kre-O is a cheap knock-off. Lego did do something JP oriented once. They did Lego Studios and Jurassic Park III was included. Was not great, but it was ok.

The Lego studios where horrible. Btw, I tried to make a Lego T. rex, and I failed miserably.

I've already put that together. I have a great orange Utahraptor that likes to eat my Lego that I've named Nigel. From prehistoric park of course.

I have all the species from Lego Dino. Not all the sets, but all the species. Lego Creator had a T-rex set. It could be turned into a pterosaur and sauropod as well... I think they had other versions of the Tyrannosaurus earlier too.

You have all the species, that's cool. Both pteranodons and tyrannosaurs and raptors and Ceolophyisis? That is a lot of dinosaurs.

You know, I think I have the coolest and most expensive jp action figure. Its this [img]http://www.toyfreakz.com/shop/images/source/Revoltech_Sci-fi_T-Rex_Image.jpg[/img] It has 16 joints and is super detailed. It came form Japan, is around 6 inches long, and 70 bucks. 70!!!
