Team Raptor Petition

I am pretty sure that there is no team Raptor because the Raptors have always been in Jurassic Park. They have never been replaced, and there is no controversy with them. There is Rex and Spino because of Spino replacing Rex in the third movie. Team Raptor is a good idea, but it might not happen, I personally am not for or against it. I am undecided, but leaning towards against it. This is my opinion, good luck with this petition, and hope for the best.

Hey [b]futurepaleontologist[/b], I like the petition, and I will absolutely keep an eye on this thread to see how many people are interested in expanding the teams. Initially, like [b]MrHappy9097[/b] stated in his post, the teams were made to differentiate the controversy between Rex being killed in JP3 by a Spinosaurus - and it's been a major debate since between JP fans. However, that being said, I am open to expand this site's features if enough members voice their opinion and interest in doing so. It's not too difficult for me to do, since the site is all my own custom software. It's more so a matter of preference and demand. So, if members reading this are interested in expanding the teams - post here and if I notice enough people really wanting it, I'll make it happen.

The only problem is that the Raptor got schooled in the first movie by a T-Rex and a Spinosaurus killed a T-Rex. It really doesn't stand a chance but it would probably be better than Team Spino because it is more popular and nobody really likes the Spinosaurus walking into the third film and just killing away the king of the dinosaurs when everybody was cheering T-Rex. I will give my signature because for me it has a better chance to win me over from T-Rex than Team Spino. - JGeorgeVH

Maybe you could have a Team Raptor, and then you're preference of Rex or Spino. So that way, the Rex/Spino team thing remains at the same number, and there is still a team Raptor

Umm, just exactly what does that mean. I was talking about having one of the three, not having Rex/Spino and raptor, because almost everybody will go to raptor if they could stick with Rex/Spino. This way, there are some more people who show they appreciate raptors.

I guess I see what you mean. It's just that there are no issues with the Raptors in the Jurassic Park trilogy (other than size). Team Raptor would be a good idea. If this does happen, watch Team Raptor take over the website, while Team Rex drops by about 150 or more people, while Team Spino drops by 50 or so.

Now that I think about it, my favourite Jurassic Park Dinosaur discussion seemed to show that Rex was most popular.

I'm not going to rush you or anything, but would you please make a decision yes or no.

I'm with Mr. Happy. If you must add a Team Raptor, keep the controversy between Teams Rex and Spino going on. While these two superpredators combatted face to face, the only confrontation with the raptors was at the end of Jurassic Park when they are killed by Rex. I thought the point of the teams was to see who is the real King of Jurassic Park out of the two predators who fought each other.

Well, after thinking about it a bit, rex/Spino is his enemy. Everyone is so focused on the big creatures, that they don't attention to the small thing that is really going to kill them. It is really a battle for main Antagonist, the big thing, or the little killer.

Rex and Spino are "enemies" because Spino won in JP 3. The raptors didn't technically have any "enemies" (except Rex). There are no other small predators in the trilogy (besides Compy, who wouldn't be a threat to them). My opinion is that the Raptors have always been there, and as long as there are Jurassic Park movies being made, the Raptors will still be there. Rex and Spino is where the controversy is, and as far as I see it, anything Nublar will be Rex, and anything Sorna will be a coin toss really, or maybe both. Anywho, congrats.

Thanks, but I don't think you are getting my point, and if you are, I accept it, but I just don't support it. I'm trying to say the raptors have to fight for the spot as main antagonist. They don't accually fight the other dinosaurs, exept for the T. rex vs the big one scene. But it is more like a Cold War, raptor causes this, and t rex causes that, and, even though they don't mean it, they are rally fighting for main villain. I don't know who the character think is more scary, the Rex/Spino, or the Velociraptor. I remember hearing that the producers of jp3 thought about having the raptors kill off Spinosaurus, but they decided to take it out of the film. I'm probably (heck i am) making something out of something that the director or any other person on the set ever thought about, but heck, I'm going to make it, and give it a side of dead Spinosaurus bacon.

That is true. The Raptors are always there, and they always do something. Even if they aren't the main ones, the still killed a lot of people. They were the main antagonist in the first (if you ask me), they killed a lot of people in TLW, and they didn't do as much in the third, which is a shame, but their role was still interesting. The Raptors killing off Spino would have been an awesome fight to see (no offence team Spino).

The only reason the raptors didn't do much in the third movie is because there were fewer characters that aren't the main character to kill off. Spino only killed one person. And the only reason the raptors are attacking is because they had the eggs. The raptors don't need them for food. They are very successful, and they want the eggs. They where homicidal maniacs in tlw

I think team raptor is a great idea. I undertsand why it hasn't been made already (because of the clash and fury between Rex and Spino) but I do believe team raptor would have high ranks in numbers and be the favorite of many members. Raptors (unlike Tyranasaurous Rex) are intelligent, smart, quick and light. I would perfer team raptor over the other teams.

If a big enough pack of raptors all mob a larger animal lets say spino then there is a chance they would bring it down this was probably there hunting technique anyway, and I support that they are the 3rd power in JP and put my vote in for team raptor- ScubaDino
