Not to sound weird, but think about it: is it likely that big dinos like Rex or Para would reproduce asexually?
ReplyDinoFightsJurassic World ForumCarnotaur for JP4Sep 5, 2013
I'm betting 99.999999999% on Troodon being the villain now.
ReplyLord VaderJurassic World ForumCarnotaur for JP4Sep 5, 2013
That's too bad. Kinda cool that you actually got some information from Mr Horner via email though.
Replyt-rex90Dinosaurs ForumIf You where a DinosaurSep 5, 2013
T-Rex was the most powerful carnivorous dinosaur that ever lived so of course I'd want to be one! If not him though then maybe an Acrocanthosaurus, those were pretty badass as well.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumDinosaurs: Male or Female?Sep 5, 2013
That's another problem with the idea of going by the size and build of a dinosaur alone.
As far as Parasaurolophus goes, those could also be different species of Parasaurolophus. They could be male and female too. Hard to say.
ReplyDinoFightsDinosaurs ForumDinosaurs: Male or Female?Sep 5, 2013
Interestingly, the gracile T. rex forms always date about a million years earlier than the more robust forms, their time ranges barely overlapping. I think they are sort of an evolutionary link between Daspletosaurus (Pete 3 was pretty similar in size and everything to Tyrannosaurus X specimens) and Tyrannosaurus rex.
On another note, look at female and male Parasaurolophus

Amphicoelias. I would be... Invincible!!!
Or Bahariasaurus, maybe Suchomimus or Torvosaurus.
Bahariasaurus for size and speed, Suchomimus because I don't know why, and Torvosaurus because it was the Jurassic T. rex, the last giant badass of the period.

Can I role Megalodon? He is a favorite of mine I know he isnt that old but well I work with sharks and would enjoy being the largest bad ass shark there ever was haha. My daily life just kill a whale and just keep swimming :)
ReplyGigadinoDinosaurs ForumThe Horror Mouth: A Hoax?Sep 5, 2013
You're welcome, RexFan ^^!
Well, i have seen so many times this so callled Horror Mouth. When I saw the drawing in your top 10 of the longest teeth, I remembered that I had already seen that design on Deviant Art, and it was not a real dinosaur!
ReplyLotus3Dinosaurs ForumDinosaurs: Male or Female?Sep 5, 2013
That's very interesting. You'd think because of the size and structure of T-rex it would have the reproductive distinctions of today's animals. The barrier between bird and reptile is also a factor here. I've heard a theory (probably a friend of Jack Horner) that T-rex were in fact male or female, AND that they gave birth to LIVE young. :/
ReplykeeganwhDinosaurs ForumThe Horror Mouth: A Hoax?Sep 5, 2013
For what it's worth, the snake eater looks totally plausible.
ReplykeeganwhDinosaurs ForumThe Horror Mouth: A Hoax?Sep 5, 2013
It's not that it looks strange, it's that it looks completely unreasonable. Strange-looking animals still have reasonable ecological pressures that have driven them to look the way they are.
I can't fathom any sort of pressure that would lead to the evolution of a creature with a jaw like that. It serves no practical purpose and would likely hinder the creature far more than helping.

To be sure about this , they should test it on a relative of the dinosaurs like Pterosaurs

Yeah. I guess it's because Tyrannosaurus fossils are pretty common and usually well preserved.
ReplyLord VaderDinosaurs ForumDinosaurs: Male or Female?Sep 4, 2013
Scientists sure like to test things on T-Rex fossils. This is interesting.

I don't either, and it was very good. Not as good as jp, but still very good.

Well, no. All the species, but not all the individual dinosaurs.
I have the following...

Rex vs navy, sounds cool. I've got my FBR and dino descriptions too. Should probably change the raptor one. Velociraptors using human tech is a a few years away.
ReplyDeltadromeusJurassic Park ForumLEGO rejects Jurassic Park set conceptSep 4, 2013
You have all the species, that's cool. Both pteranodons and tyrannosaurs and raptors and Ceolophyisis? That is a lot of dinosaurs.
ReplyDeltadromeusJurassic Park ForumLEGO rejects Jurassic Park set conceptSep 4, 2013
I've already put that together. I have a great orange Utahraptor that likes to eat my Lego that I've named Nigel. From prehistoric park of course.
ReplyRex Fan 684Jurassic Park ForumLEGO rejects Jurassic Park set conceptSep 4, 2013
I have all the species from Lego Dino. Not all the sets, but all the species.
Lego Creator had a T-rex set. It could be turned into a pterosaur and sauropod as well...

As so, FBR also likes to do some side duels in between our main FBRs...
heres our season 3 list...
the classic rex vs trike FBR has been written by REXFAN and is ready to go...
Spino/raptor Vs Navy written by me
alternate JP3 ending/ Spino VS raptor written by delta
and perhaps.... maybe Rex vs navy... present time?
We do have some other unannounced FBRs we plan to throw in as well, they require fan suggestion and cannot Plagiarize another fight...

Z-Tyrannus is about 35-40 ft long and 5 tons
Z-Tyrannus is a little lighter weight. Very close though.
