Ugh! All this hype will be the death of me!
@GigaDino
Actually, the male Raptors from JP3 had feathers, so it is a possibility that Owen has trained female Raptors.
Another homage I think is when the Raptors are released there enclosure resembles the Raptor enclosure from the "Shoot her" scene
I'll take one super fluffy Microraptor please.
Now I need to figure out where I can get falconry lessons...
Honestly, that skeleton is getting smashed. Maybe not by T. rex, But it's getting smashedb
Well, I've already said my opinion, but I'll just reiterate it because I think it is awesome. (I'm full of myself...) Basically, I think that the movie should end with a huge battle between the D. Rex and T. rex. It ends when, after getting sprayed with tranq darts, the T. rex rams the D. rex into the mosasaur pond, the mosasaur comes up, and devours the beast.
I also like the idea of the raptors backing away from the D. rex, not even wanting to try attacking the beast.
I think the T. rex should escape after the D. rex destroys park generators, giving us a scene similar to the classic one from the first movie where it then attacks a gyrosphere containing our child protagonists.
Just my two cents.
Slascing bite is deadly at either. I don't think that T.rex is a good match for D-rex, no know Theropod would be strong enough to take D-rex over.
Meh. Torvosaurus was a much different animal based on bones found in Cleveland Lloyd quarry. It had shorter, stubbier arms and a long Spinosaur-esque thin jaw. So goof for chasing prey, yes. The crushing jaws of Tyrannosaurus would work better IMO. Btw, I know this because Im an assistant to the paleontologist at the museum I work. (I also work at a zoo as an assistant keeper, but that's beside the point.)
PM me if you want more info. :)
Interesting stuff! Nice find! If you would like more, I have some pretty interesting info on the Spinosaur, based on exclusive photos of the bones. For one, Spino wasn't barrel-chested, rather slim with the vertebrae showing that attached tendons pulled the ribs backward, toward the tail, making Spinosaurus very slim.
It most likely doesn't. I'd say that the raptor DNA would give it a slashing bite, rather than a crushing one.
If D-rex is an upgraded T.rex version, D-rex's bite force would be even higher. Even though D-rex is awful,it's definitely too strong to be killed by something like T.rex.
Featherless Velociraptor are terrible. I can understand the nostalgia, but a feathered Velociraptor would've been waaaaaay better.
^^ I'd enjoy seeing that.
Wow! Thanks for sharing this with us Carnosaur! :) I have a question- So S. Maroccanus isn't a new species?
@Dilpohosaurus, I'll send in the care sheets ASAP.
I didn't notice some of these! I did notice a Spinosaurus skeleton, a possible homage to JP3.
Acro annihilators vs tarbo terminators.
Who.Will.Win?
No torvo hunts just about anything. Torvo is the complete hunting package and a hunters best friend. With long, powerful legs to chase down prey, and With strong jaws to subdue the prey and surprisingly very strong arms to stabilize prey. No offense but the torvo is more equipped for hunting.
I'm not sure about any of that, just let me checmy with my workers.
I hope you get something new when the countdown is done. Like a clip or extended trailer.
TYRANT KING - As you wish. ACRO ANNIHILATORS! :D
CARNOSAUR - This is very compelling informatrion! I'd read a similar article from National Geographic, however, the contents were not as extensive as what we've got here! An excellent find! Thank you ever so much for sharing this! :)
Out of curiosity, one paleontological enthusiast to another, what are your thoughts on this information? You've provided an excellent bit of information, but I'm also interested in your thoughts if you fancy to share them! :)
I think that like in the first JP, this is the breakdown of defeating antagonists.
JP:
Dilophosaurus(anti-hero) kills: Nedry (human/secondary antagonist)
Tyrannosaurus (anti-hero) kills: Velociraptors (dinosaur/primary antagonist)
JW:
Mosasaur (Anti-hero) kills: human/secondary antagonist (can't remember the name)
Tyrannosaurus (Anti-hero) kills: D-Rex (dinosaur/primary antagonist)
perhaps the human antagonist is holding the group at gunpoint for some reason near the Tank and ends up falling/getting shoved into the water, getting eaten by the Mosasaur.
I personally wouldn't like to see a pair of Rexes killed, or even one. That's the same mistake made in JP///. I would enjoy seeing the Rex proving who's King, after a brutal battle that still shows how tough the D-Rex is!
I agree with a few things...however, the T-Rex will have lots of screen time, apparently it attacks a gryosphere...
Also maybe the D-Rex could kill one Rex or even a pair(thats if there are males), but at the end, Rexy come from the old park, and kills the D-Rex and does what she did in then of the first movie. Or maybe kill lots of stuff, herbivores, raptors, humans, etc. Then Rex can get its redemption...
Do you mean better at hunting certain things? Because the Torvo is probably better at hunting chase-type prey such as deer and rabbits, while the Rex is more bulk-based prey, such as Moose and Elk.
The original game and the franchise at large has a large fan base, and in light of the new movie and wild popularity of such games, it really makes sense to produce new and improved sequel.
The sequel should build upon the first by adding more buildings and more controls. It should also retain cheat functions or a sandbox mode so that people can take game functions and their creativity to the max. If there is one thing I would emphasize, it's details. Make it detailed and functional.
Dinosaur intelligence should be reviewed. In the original, it seemed like sometimes the dinosaurs couldn't find their way out of a paper bag. When you put feeders and water in an enclosure, dinos shouldn't die of malnutrition and dehydration. Additionally, limits to the number of species you can raise should be removed.
The vehicle control system was decent at the time, but it could be really done well now. A garage with various vehicles would be fun. Security, fire rescue, vet, etc.. It would be interesting to have a top-down build and management mode and also a character free roam/mission mode. So a player would have a character which could interact with vehicles, buildings, and visitors/employees in order to complete missions.
Ok, we'll if you two are just gonna tell the other to be captain I wi will just end it and say I will be captain. If you have a problem with that please say sonething.
are name should be acro ahnnilators.
I wish for my herd of Gallimimus to be in egg form, and have this personalization.

Gallimimus
I was also curious if you would be able to breed some Camarasaurs, and some Edmontonia.
That would actually be really cool, T. Rex and Spino working together.
Something Real - if you wanna be go on ahead! actually, i'd prefer if you were :)
Let's get this show on the road, guys ;)
I will have my order consist of eggs, and in this personalization.
Ill also take two Carnotaurs, as eggs and in this personalization if possible.
Carnotaur
LORD OF THE SPINOSAURS - I'm with you! I certainly hope Spinosaurus gets a little nod in the upcoming film! Hey, perhaps he and the Tyrannosaurus will get to teg-team the D-Rex! That would be AMAZING! :D
When I saw the trailer for the first time, I almost cried. Ive been waiting for 10 years for this film to come out after the disaster that JPIII was..And ive been following the development since JW was first announced, and now...after seeing the trailer 20 times, its reality to me now. And I know Colin has made a masterpiece...I cant wait man..7 more monthss.
Also, I love how Owen is like a nod to Muldoon. Thats badass!!
