Rex Fan 684
MemberCompsognathusNov-26-2014 1:13 PMSo, what if we don't see the T.rex until the end of the movie? D-Rex is created to be the new star of Jurassic World and the T.rex takes a back seat to it. Because of that, we don't see the Rex. Then, the chaos breaks out and things go to hell. The Raptors are scent to locate and take out the D-Rex if possible. They corner him, but can't bring him down. But they corner the D-Rex in the worst possible spot(for the D-Rex that is). You hear the classic thundering roar of the T.rex and the steady footfalls of the Tyrannosaurus. She arrives and, after quite the battle, defeats the D-Rex once and for all. This brings about, "Rex Redemption,"
Just an idea :D

MemberAllosaurusNov-26-2014 1:41 PMIt's a good idea, but I think Rex will have more screen time than that.
I have an idea! :D
What if the Rex grabbed the D. Rex by the neck and slammed it into a running electric fence, killing it?

MemberAllosaurusNov-26-2014 1:55 PM^ I left out the long battle part. They would obviously have to battle for a long time before one dies. (Besides, the D. Rex would already be wounded from the raptors.)

MemberCompsognathusNov-26-2014 2:58 PMI guess T.rex is going to appear (Toys pointed it out), but I don't really think that it's goingto kill D-rex...I mean, that (awful) thing is simply much larger, stronger, smarter...it's a better and larger version of T.rex. How can T.rex kill a (ugly) thing wich is much better than it in everything? D-rex is ugly though, is an insult to dinosaurs. I wouldn't be so sorry to see a (feathered) T.rex ripping off its damn head.
Just my thought.

MemberCompsognathusNov-26-2014 3:03 PMD-rex is smaller. And post a pic of d-rex so I can see how ugly it is.

MemberCompsognathusNov-26-2014 3:12 PM^d-rex is supposed to be bigger and its really not that ugly. it looks pretty much like a giant allosaur

MemberCompsognathusNov-26-2014 3:56 PMAllosaurus is actually damn cool, D-rex isn't. It's simply horrible. A Giganotosaurus/Carcharodontosaurus would have been 100 times better. I mean, you call a place JURASSIC WORLD, and you put in a such place a made up thing, wich doesn't come from Mesozoic? I wanted to see real dinosaurs (possibly feathered, because feathers are cool), not a such awful, made up thing. Even a Deinocheirus would have been better. This film deluded me a lot so far. That's just my opinion however.

MemberTriceratopsNov-26-2014 4:07 PMI have no doubt that T.rex will get a fair amount screen time in JW. The franchise would be nothing w/o the mighty king! I also think that we will see a showdown between D.rex and one of the Tyrannosaurs, and D.rex will end up the victor (or so fear).
The effect will take a huge toll on the audience, and on the movie characters. Here is the king of all dinosaurs, who is feared and respected by all, crashing down and being killed after a long fight with a genetically-enhanced monster. It will have a greater impact than when the young Spino took his place as the main antagonist in JP3, because the only creature that could combine strength and killer instinct to take down the monster is killed. It's like the Bewilderbeast fight in How to Train Your Dragon 2.

MemberCompsognathusNov-26-2014 4:24 PMI always wanted giga to Be the movie. And have the rex and giga fight in the begginneg and the giga kill the rex after a long fight. And at thevens of the movie rex's mate avenges hire by killing the giga in a long, brutal, bloody, fight.

MemberCompsognathusNov-26-2014 4:51 PM@Alphadino,
I think that neuters the Rex. They can accomplish that without the D-Rex killing the Rex. Just making the Raptors back off would be enough. The Raptors are reknowned as some of the biggest killers and antagonists of JP. Making them back down or wiping out half a pack would prove how deadly D. rex is. However, having the Rex win a brutal fight with the supposed upgraded version of itself, would bring the Tyrannosaur back to his place as King, as Chris said, Rex Redemption. That way, it could show the D-Rex is the deadliest threat JP has faced, but also redeem the king!

MemberTyrannosaurus RexNov-26-2014 5:10 PMFrankly, I think it's pretty damn obvious the D-Rex is a dangerous bugger. Even if the Raptors were to simply back off, that'd prove his dangerous D-Rex is, as The Big One attacked Rexy on her own.
I think Rex will have plenty enough screen time, and in the end, take out the (second) most dangerous creature the franchis has ever seen.

MemberCompsognathusNov-26-2014 6:09 PMPossibley though I agree with Mr. Happy. I think it will have more screen time because it's an icon of jurassic park and of dinosaurs in general.

MemberTyrannosaurus RexNov-26-2014 7:39 PMREX FAN 684 - Regardless of how much screen time Rexy gets, I hope his/her presence is as powerful as that evidenced in the first Jurassic Park film! :)

MemberCompsognathusNov-26-2014 10:03 PMI agree with a few things...however, the T-Rex will have lots of screen time, apparently it attacks a gryosphere...
Also maybe the D-Rex could kill one Rex or even a pair(thats if there are males), but at the end, Rexy come from the old park, and kills the D-Rex and does what she did in then of the first movie. Or maybe kill lots of stuff, herbivores, raptors, humans, etc. Then Rex can get its redemption...
Primal King
MemberCompsognathusNov-26-2014 11:30 PMI personally wouldn't like to see a pair of Rexes killed, or even one. That's the same mistake made in JP///. I would enjoy seeing the Rex proving who's King, after a brutal battle that still shows how tough the D-Rex is!

MemberCompsognathusNov-27-2014 10:47 AMWell, I've already said my opinion, but I'll just reiterate it because I think it is awesome. (I'm full of myself...) Basically, I think that the movie should end with a huge battle between the D. Rex and T. rex. It ends when, after getting sprayed with tranq darts, the T. rex rams the D. rex into the mosasaur pond, the mosasaur comes up, and devours the beast.
I also like the idea of the raptors backing away from the D. rex, not even wanting to try attacking the beast.
I think the T. rex should escape after the D. rex destroys park generators, giving us a scene similar to the classic one from the first movie where it then attacks a gyrosphere containing our child protagonists.
Just my two cents.
