There was a lot of EU made after JP came out. You can still find/order some of it today at Indigo/chapters I think.

Muldoons survivial was a bit trivial tho... It wasn't a good explanation. SOmething about how he knew those raptors better then anyone... Kinda like an Older chris pratt... But more shot guns, less motor bikes.

Well that was a lot of info Paden, but I think at the time JP 3 was released, the idea of Jurassic World was far from coming...

And when I said we forget about the movie, I mean that we forget about the memory of the movie.

X_PADEN_X - Wow! I was not aware of the Jurassic Park Expanded Universe! That is extremely compelling! I am exceedingly pleased that Muldoon survived! :)

X_PADEN_X - I was not present when Jurassic Park 3D was released. However, I certainly hope the forums receieve a great deal more attention now that Jurassic World is on the full upswing above most expectations! By the way, have you seen the film? If so, what did you think? I always value your input! :)

I mean... Worse comes to worse, Universal will just pull a disney and say the film didn't exist in cannon or something... But universal doesn't love its fans "That" much. 

I think, It should still be considered cannon, But it shouldn't be held to the exact same storyline as JW. Granted, During 2001 Jurassic world was still somewhat under construction. 

One can assume thats how there was such a Fast Rescue response to Sorna. It wasn't because ellie contacted them, It was because they were in the Area. 

What bothers me is that there is a snow balls chance in hell that the construction of JW could be kept tightly under wraps... So, During Alans Speech about how Hammonds park was a horrible Idea and should never be attempted again, The park is still super under wraps, Or is like, Years away from release and No one knows yet. (The park opened in 05 if I recall correctly).

So, yes. JP3 is still technically Cannon, But there is some definate problems inbetween the two Films.

For example... In one of the Comics in the EU, Hammonds son in law: Peter Ludlow, Managing to survive the Events of TLW, Goes and makes a Park in texas... With, you guessed it, dinosaurs. He has a secret agenda, yadda yadda. But my point here is, That Lex, Who became a famous CEO of a crop corperation, Went to the UN multiple times, Aswell as the other survivors, to plead to keep the Island chain 100% Off limits. 

That's the problem. Someone, Any of the Numerous survivors of EITHER adventure with INGEN, or litterally any of the park staff could present this problem to the UN. Keeping in mind that they were indeed Sworn to secrecy with a Lot of cash for their silence. That wouldn't mean no one would speak out about it... I'm sure Alan's silence was Bough again in JP3, along with the rest of the cast but still. The intervention of a World Government would indeed mean that they know about it...

There's just one too many plot holes that need explaining. I think they could do what they used to with JP, And do a comic (old school style) to fill in the gaps. Thanks to the EU, We now know that Muldoon actually survived.

GODZILLA316 - This is a very fun topic! Hmm...I believe that the sequal to needs to "up the ante" by picking up not long after Jurassic World drew to a close. Perhaps we find Owen and his allies attempting to pick up the peices of the park when corporate investors come forward to stem the losses they have sustained due to the park's breakdown? Animals are being gathered back up so as to get the park back into opperational status? In the midst, we have Dr. Wu and the other less than ethical individuals thinking up new nightmares - perhaps having even created a more stable version of the Inominous Rex. Of course, I would absolutely adore seeing Owen reunite with Blue! I could very much see her acting as a silent guardian for him whilst he roams the jungles! :)

^Oh, but these calcuations are serious. I even used some very accurate sources, like Wikipedia and random Google searches.

Now, where does Raptor Jesus fit in? According to my predictions, ALAN! sent Raptor Jesus to the Earth in June 993. 1,000 years later, Jurassic Park was released, spreading the ALAN!ness to the world with raptors. This failed, so ALAN! himself made Jurassic Park 3, but it was changed by the followers chaos, took out all the ALAN! references, and added the RvS. Raptor Jesus added the small ALAN! reference to prevent total chaos.

The Jurassic Park movies are religious films.

ALAN!-401 - I could not agree more! Though certain moments in Jurassic Park 3 were fun, I felt that it did not live up to the legacy left behind by the first two films. Indeed, I believe we should leave Jurassic Park 3 in the past for the continued unity of the Jurassic Park fans! Let us heal the rift by coming together to celebrate this rebirth of the franchise with Jurassic World! By the way, I recently saw the film and it was absolutely amazing! Additionally, I love your avatar! "Alan..." Hahaha! :)

Glad to here such an exciting rumor with Pratt signing on with JW2!!!

Personally, I like Blue the best.  Here's why:  we were exposed to her more.  There's simply more of her in the movie.  She has more exposure.  She was Owen's favourite.  If more info on her sisters were given, then we could more accurately determine which of the girls was our favourites.

I'm still glad that at least Delta was given a mini-spotlight though.  Hoskins was trying to pet her early in the movie when she was restrained, but she grew angry.  Finally, Barry's favourite got what she wanted:  Hoskins' arm, followed by the rest of him.
