SCI-FI KING25 - Oh, that was a very fun start to your series! I greatly enjoyed how you presented Rexy! Excellent work! I look forward to reading the next installments! :)
RAPTOR-401 - I very much enjoyed this story! The visualization of Piscius (I love the name!) was quite neat! Thank you ever so much for taking the time to create this and share it with us! :)
P.S - ...Alan...
Peguins are perfect examples, showing signs of intelligence and pure instinct. It was excellent that you mentioned them in the topic. What else are you researching?
I think the young rex would've been more reckless but faster + more agressive [being able to get more hits but maybe be hurt even more].
If it's true that she was in her prime during Jurassic world, Her prime = experience and strength. So she'd probably be more focused and calm in a fighting situation.
So if we're talking more hits, young rex has this. If we're talking about heavy hits, prime rex takes over. Either way, I don't think it makes much of difference. It would still need help against the I-rex. The I-rex is no push over. That creature kept getting up.
Not a bad scene, imaginative, and pretty nice insights of spinosaurus. Though I think the story was a bit too nice/luck for the most part of Spino. Perhaps a darker route would've made the ending less cheesy. However that's not to say I wasn't sinked into the story, I couldn't help but feel stuck in the middle, uncertain of who to root for. It's about the next generation and survival. Both dinosars doing what they do.
Worth my time to read it. ^.^ Quick and fun. Can't wait to see what else you have next.
Great start to the story. I think Rexy needs another Rex beside her, even if she has Blue, still she is very old and living her last few years, she needs a successor. I don't know how it will work, but I hope you can find a way to maybe incorporate a new Rex into the story
A lot of these assumptions are based on the idea of Grant returning to the island. We all know he won't and getting him back would be impossible at this point.
But what if the sequel brings dinosaurs to the mainland? He has nowhere to run at that point. I think if the sequel explores the idea of dinosaurs off the island it would be a good opportunity to see Alan Grant or Ian Malcolm in a position, even if it's a cameo, that corners them with what they've faced before.
Both actors aren't doing a whole bunch lately. Sam Neill's done very little outside of television appearences and independent roles. Goldblum's career has been a little more in the spotlight, but I don't think either are too busy to come back-- Especially if it's just a cameo.
^The above picture isn't Blue.
But man do the Jurassic World toys blow... I remember when Jurassic Park and The Lost World came out I hade the Jurassic Park compound playset, the trailer from The Lost World and the dinosaurs had rubber skin to make them feel "real". They were of much larger scale and had some great action gimmicks. These things are just... lazy.
From what I've seen on other sites, I am inclined to agree that the scope is a Leupold FX II Scout. Not sure about the type of rings, I personally wouldn't use quick detatch rings, but this film wasn't made around my preferences. Additionally the sling is a Butler Creek Ultra Cartridge Sling.
Why does Blue look horrible? She's green with a black stri instead of gray with a blue stripe.
Also, every chapter will have a little sneak peek into future stories of mine.
Coming August 2015
Dinosaurs Like You've Never Seen Them Before
A Journey Through 200 Million Years of History
Also, Velociraptor is the next chapter's dinosaur, but leave any requests or suggentions.
Thanks, that is what I was going for!
rexy is at least in her late-thirites (and that's being SUPER generous), and with all the evidence we have, that would would make her a very, VERY old tyrannosaur in JW. I personally don't think it is unrealistic for her to have gone down in only 3 hits, especially given how enormous the I-rex's claws were.
But to answer the question of whether or not rexy would've faired better if she were in her prime, almost certainly. I don't know if she would've been able to beat the I-rex without help, but she certainly would've been tanking more hits, and dragging the indominus all over the place.
Nice job! I loved how you presented Tyrannosaurus as an intelligent, caring animal.
Thanks, its good to know I (hopefully) got the job done right with this one.
I wonder if there are no comments yet because everyone is watching the video...
Anyway, this was a very well done presentation on the likelihood of each group of dinosaurs having feathers, and aside from mispronouncing some names, Trey did a very good job.
If rexy was in her prime she would have destroyed the i-rex, tho i still hate it in the movie when rexy starts kicking i-rexs ass, she roars at it, then like 2-3 claw slaps and shes down? I know shes old and all, but come on!
I agree with what's been stated previously.
Rexy in her prime probably would have destroyed I-Rex in a more brutal manner than the second half of the fight without the whole "OMG, Rexy's dead" moment before Blue arrives.
Nice job. The fight was well written, keep up the good work. I have no criticism that I can think of at this moment in time.
Good points, I do agree a Rexy in her prime would have been stronger than a Rexy near death. I think most paleontologists say that T. rex lived to a max at about 30 years, and although Rexy is scientifically not a T. rex, I think being 28 would have made her weaker.
@AlphaDino65
I agree not on Length (she doesn't seem to have grown alot, maybe 2-3 feet max), but she was definitely bigger in overall mass, and weight. I-Rex is big and slender, Younger Rexy was big and more muscular than I-Rex
Bigger how? Certainly not in length, Rexy would have only gotten longer as time passed. Indominus Rex was estimated to reach the size of a (scientifically-accurate) Spinosaurus, and was at least as long as the Spinosaurus in JP3 (and Rexy, if the right measurement was 43 feet for her in JP; I have seen different measurements for her over the past several years).
Good points, I also do think they could have ran on pure extinct. Penguins mostly revolve on living off of their instinct which they evolved over millions of years.
I agree, JP Rexy could've done more damage to the I. rex
Good idea, I love it
1. I don't think it should be 10 years, maybe 7 years, at the most.
2. Alan Grant and Ian Malcolm should make at least a cameo, if not a minor or supporting role, off the island, as I'm pretty sure neither want to go on a dinosaur island again.
Get ready for a EWW (Everything Wrong With...)
Hm...very interesting.
I should do one too! :0
Hm...interesting, however i have to disagree. For the first part, I think the actor is tired of acting for Jurassic Park now. Sceondly, the second director proabably won't look into it all. Thirdly, I'd like some new characters now. Just me personally though, I know there are some huge fans of Dr. G.
Hm...I'd like to think the theropods were as smart as lions and tigers, the sauropods were loving like elephants, and the ornithopods were as shockingly amazing like mooses and deers. Personally, I like to think that the dinosaurs more than just slumbering, pooping, and hungry creatures. I can't imagine a world where the top predator was only as smart as a mouse. There had to be some intelligence for them to survive, communication at best. However if not intelligence, then what? I would say just pure instinct. These creatures, all of which, contain some form of adaption which lead their body to evolve. Maybe that is all they needed to survive, a body successful enough to adapt on pure instinct.
Ex. A spinosaurus had sensory pits on its snout, its instinct to prey on fish is a lot easier now. T-rex had a stong jaw and a strong nose, the evolution of a strong jaw and strong nose is like a major boost to rely on just instinct (since their prey were heavy armored). A sauropod had a huge body that no predator would want to mess with, its instinct is to just eat and get big, probably is all they need to know (since their size were their greatest defense).
I guess what I'm saying is, how these creatures were built, they probably didn't need intelligence as it would probably (just probably) be for the most part be, unnecessary. Maybe, the dinosaurs just had the right tools all along to thrive for a long period of time.
Well if anything was to be movie of the year, it was Mad Max: Fury Road. Just my opinion.
I loved jurassic world too, but the dialouge was pretty cheap.
TYRANNWRIGHT - How very compelling! I greatly enjoy the ideas you have presented within your synopsis! I would be very interested in seeing what a child between Owen and Claire is like - loads of personality, no doubt! Thank you so much for taking the time to create and present this very interesting premise to us! :)
GORILLAGODZILLA - I would absolutely love to see Sam Neil return as Dr. Grant! However, I believe that concept will, sadly, remain strictly within the dream pool. With that being said, there is always a chance, however slim, that we might see Alan Grant squaring off against dinosaurs once again! :)
@TyrannWright
Well, i feel there was a bit more of a, He Personally wanted to go back. Like, Sure, it was hell. But these are dinosaurs we're talking about here. That's what he's studied forever. As much as he wouldn't want to go, He subconciously always wanted to return.
That kinda thing sometimes happens with Tramatic experiences.
And we'll let Professor oak take it from there...

No reason for him to be in it. He meant his word, "No force on earth or heaven can get me on that island." Besides the fact that be let a small-time company owner bribe him into going in JP3.
Doesn't have to be the same year to be released, Sci-Fi King25
They made another Rex during the clean-up, SkeleturtleTheBest.
10 years after 2015 is 2025
