Rex vs Spinosaurus is old. If you want to see pretty much any of our opinions, just refer to previous discussions. New people always starting a new Rex vs Spinosaurus discussion or bringing it up in an unrelated topic kinda annoyed me, so I edited my forum signature a little. This discussion has loads of cool pictures in it.

Looks like Albertosaurus is the fan favorite right now.

Thanks, I tried to make it good. The rex twins where just overwhelmed. They killed one, and severely injured another Allosaurus, but the packs protect eachother. Also, thanks Tyrant. And one more thing, I got the numbers wrong. I'm going to change them.

Third thing to do: have a heart attack when it actually finds you. :D BTW, I'm now taking seriously writing a dino story, seeing how much success have those awesome fights and stories! :P

The reason the Dilo is so small is just because its small. I read on the Primal Carnage site that most of them are small, but they do get to be up to 20 feet long. As for the Dilo in jp, then I still think that its a young one. It may not hint at it, but in the book, they had big ones, so that tells me the ones in the movie are childeren

Remember, the Ceratosaurus basically won because he tripped over a log and fell on the Utahraptor. It could easily have gone the other way. The Ceratosaurus simply came out on top this time.

Great fight, but I don't think you gave the Utahraptor is due. I think it would have been a lot more responsive and catious. It may be a primitive raptor, but its at least as smart as T. rex.

I think poeple got used to the JP dilo, the small, venom spitting dilo. So general public would be pretty confused if they see a dilophosaurus different from the one in jurassic park. Then, why not imitating it so the people can recognize the JP style dilo and start buying the game?

Maybe. The thing is, the general public really only knows Dilophosaurus from the poison spitting little one in Jurassic Park. How is Primal Carnage? It looks fun.

The thing is, the Dilo in JP is about the size of a real Velociraptor and the raptors were about the size of a real Dilo. I'm pretty sure Spielberg simply did not want confusion between the two.

Well, if you don't agree with his estimate, this doesn't meaning that it's a bad source. Wikipedia's infos were referentiated. The Ornitocheirus that is supposed to be 11 m isn't actually a Ornitocheirus species.

I like his estimates, they're great. However, I do agree on "Ornithocheirus" being bigger than 11 m from tip to tip based on a jaw piece any humerus belonging to an azhdarchid that resembled Ornithocheirus. The pieces come from Austria, not South America. (however, giant pterosaur fragments have been found there, also belonging to azhdarchids) The species is "Ornithocheirus" buenzeli, though it is not actually an Ornithocheirus species.
