Strangers

     The King walked towards Donovan the king asked “Why are you in your soul form.” Donovan told the king “ I don’t know I woke up like this I can’t change back.” Thanatos said to Donovan “What do you mean you can’t change back.”  Donovan looked at all the Generals and then at the king “ I mean I can’t turn back into a human any more, I am stuck in this form till someone figures out what is wrong.” Donovan then looked down at the two humans which were behind the legs of the Tyrannosaurus Archimedes Donovan asked “Who are these Two I have never seen them before.” The king said “These two are Tom Clarke and Zac Carver.” Donovan said “Where did you find them.” The king replied “Far away from here, there town was destroyed by an unknown creature these two are the last survivors.”  Donovan said “I am sorry for there lost but everyone here has lost everything even their humanity. Take them to Gaia they should be safe in the city, there they will at least have something in common with those people.”

Donovan turned around and slowly turned back into a human. The king said “Donovan your back to normal but it is very strange on how you woke up like that.” Donovan said “This is great I am naked and 4 miles away from a the city and I am in a desert.” Tom came up to donovan and said “Here take my cloak I don’t need it as bad as you do. Also how did you do that.” Donovan walked over and took the cloak and said “Some people lost their humanity I am one of those people. I will never be a pure human again.” Donovan turned around and walked towards the city. An 3 hour later about 20 minutes away from Gaia the king stopped sniffed the air then said “Move ahead to Gaia i will be with you in a few hours.” The generals turned around and sniffed the air the lowered there head slowly then without warning picked up the Zac and tom thanatos picked up Donovan and threw him towards Gaia and with a fade voice donovan yelled “This is going to hurt a lot.” The rest was to far away to tell what he was saying but the only generals left stand with the king is Archimedes, Thanatos, and Ariston. The storm slowly consumed the sky, the wind started to pick up and a light rain started to fall, the king roared the earth shook with the sound of his roar. Then 4 humans appeared over the ridge each one on a horse one was white, another red, another black, and the last one was pale. The 4 riders slowed down in front of the king and his generals, they raised their guns and pointed it towards the dinosaur king the king turned around and started to walk towards gaia. The four rider followed behind the king the generals walked further behind him the gates of gaia opened up the guards stopped the 4 riders to be scanned by the guards.

The general Aristion followed behind them  Captain donovan was waiting for the new arrivals captain said to them “Welcome to Gaia the last city of humanity.” The first rider a large man said “Thank you for your hospitality. My name is Chris the person to my right is jack, the person to my left is Harold, and the person behind me is Morgana.” Donovan said “Come this way so I can show you to where you staying till you decide to leave or join the Guard or the slayers.” Chris stop donovan and asked “What are the slayers?” Donovan turned towards him and said “ The slayers are what left of the military personal that go out into the world finding survivors and help the dinosaurs and the ultra predators fight the Gods and dragons.” Chris said to donovan “We would like to join the slayers.” donovan raised and eyebrow and said “What makes you think you are able to do that.” Jack jumped in and said “Because before the end of the world we were soldiers. Now that there is no world we go around to the people who pay the highest to be protected but we have given that up since money is useless, We were looking for are next job but we found this place.” Donovan stopped jack and said “I don’t need your whole back story you are welcome to join the slayer luck thing we are leaving in a few hour a reports of dragon activity in china has skyrocketed something is happening there and we are going to stop it.”
