MemberAllosaurusDec-08-2014 5:55 PMYes... It's another one of these that I have just come up with right now! (These were old posts only true regulars will remember)
So this is the latest addition in the If You Could Series.
*Realizes it's been a whole 11 months since the last one was posted.
Holy shit time passes by fast
Okay, moving on,so if you could be a dinosaur trainer, what dinosaur would you train? From what I can tell this is what Owen (Chris Pratt) is going to play.
PLEASE GIVE DETAIL. Like what would you train them to be. I don't create these to read 5 word answers. I want to be entertained reading your guys description of you being a dinosaur trainer. Want an example? here's mine...
I would train Spinosaurs. A horder of all types of Spinosaurs, Spinosaurus Aqegypticus, oxalia, Baryonx, Suchomimus- you get the point. I would train them to be vicious and cruel all under my command. I would teach them how to march.
Then when the time is ready I would lead them on a victory march all over Jurassic World and take over the place. Leave it in flames with my Spinosaur Army. Then we would go on into Costa Rica and take over that region. There would be carnage!!! Carnage everywhere! With me would come the rapture!
For dramatic effect I would play this in the background:
Then soon shall the word know their master as Fernando the Great!!! With my army I shall rule the longest most everlasting empire this world has seen!
Okay all jokes aside, if you were a dinosaur trainer, what GENUS of dinosaurs would you breed? What would you make them do and what would be your plan to them? Any other things you would do?
Again, the more detail the more I enjoy reading!!! That was the reason I created these things in the first place. Also sorry if I seemed a bit weird there, feel really hyper but tired right now.

MemberCompsognathusDec-08-2014 5:58 PMMe, I'd train tyrannosaurs(T.rex, Daspletosaurus, and Albertosaurus to be exact). No world conquest or anything behind it, purely for research and maybe a little education. Perhaps I'd take them on road shows or something around the country. Educate the public about these amazing animals. That's just me though.

MemberAllosaurusDec-08-2014 6:01 PMCool, I have to say that if I were to have taken this more seriosuly I would have done that. Show them to the public and get them the proper respect they deserve.
Hopefully they wouldn't randomly retaliate and eat the crowds like bears do...

MemberCompsognathusDec-08-2014 6:05 PMHopefully. For me at least, tyrannosaurs are pretty smart dinosaurs, so I think they could be taught to obey basic commands. I'd let kids hold little feathery baby tyrannosaurs and such. They'd be muzzled of course(the kids, not the dinos, lol JK). The adults would also be muzzled, have shock collars, and be kept at a safe distance most of the time. People would be allowed to touch them, but only under strict supervision.

XD XD XD XD XD XD XD
I see what you mean, but still, bears are also pretty smart... The point is instinct would most likely overpower taught skills from the trainer in the long run...
Still, it's a cool idea.

MemberAllosaurusDec-08-2014 6:10 PMI would be a raptor trainer (all kinds of dromaeosaurs- Utahraptor, Dienonychus, Dromaeosaurus, Velociraptor, and Microraptor). I would use them to teach the public about dinosaurs in a society where a lot of people couldn't care less about dinosaurs.
THEN I WOULD RULE THE WORLD!

MemberCompsognathusDec-08-2014 6:44 PMI would like to train a tyrranotitan. Hahah, seven words not five so you have to read this..
alright I'm kidding.
i would train a tyrranotitan because they are truly awesome creatures. Very bulky with powerful arms and robust skull.they are the perfect predator package. I would want to train one so I could have a bit ofgiganotosaurus and t.rex cause I can't decide. I would have large packs of them and I would take over Florida and then Central America! And crush the spinosaurus army!!

MemberCompsognathusDec-08-2014 7:09 PMI would train Spinosaurs. (Spinosaurus, Suchomimus, Baryonyx, Irratitor, Oxalia, Aqegypticus, etc...). I would train them to be my personal body guard. I would train them to be vicious, but cautious, trusted only me, nobody else.
My main Spinosaurus, is the one I ride, I imagine he would move like a camel, the way it rocks on all four feet. Suchomimus's would be the next line of defense. Then Baryonyx, Irratitor, Oxalia, and then Aqegypticus. All of them would wear knight like armor with rocket launchers on both shoulders, and small machine guns on the wrists. To shot both the rocket launcher and the machine guns, they would close their fists, but in a different order to fire each weapon. I would train them to do both of course. My Spinosaurus would have head harness, with blades on the jaw, also with rocket launchers on both shoulders, which wold be ahot when he closes his jaw and looks down.
With my body guard, I would be the most protected ,most powerful, and most dangerous man on the planet.

MemberCompsognathusDec-08-2014 8:50 PMits either raptors or tyrannosuars for me , both were smart and amazing creatures!

MemberTriceratopsDec-08-2014 9:11 PMI would train raptors, for the same reason as in Jurassic World: they are incredibly intelligent. Yes, other dinosaurs can be trained too, under the possibility that you have months of free time and are incredibly knowledgeable aout operant conditioning. Just to let you know, it is possible to "train" creatures that "aren't too bright"; one example was when one of the psychological and sociological giants BF Skinner was able to get pigeons to play ping-pong. Yes, PING-PONG-PLAYING PIGEONS!!!! So I guess we could have tyrannosaurs playing soccer pretty soon if we wanted to try that experiment at Jurassic World.
But I certainly would not do it where I am the supreme master of them. One of the big underlying themes of the Jurassic Park franchise is ethics, and not only about genetics. It's about zoos. The argument is that zoos are like prisons, and lack the real world that the dinosaurs should enjoy because they are "sentient beings" (which is as true as with today's animals). Now, I'm not taking one side or another on the zoo thing, but I do say that I would like to have a dinosaur to be my friend, like Toothless in How to Train Your Dragon. Let the bond between me and a Utahraptor grow, and soon we'll be best friends! I really can imagine the bond starting to form when he lets me touch his snout like Toothless did with Hiccup in the first movie. It really showed the depth that animals have, and I hypothesize that dinosaurs were no different, even the most dangerous predators.
Speaking of How to Train Your Dragon, I guess I would also like to bond with a large pterosaur, hopefully large enough so that I could mount it, but only if we have a very strong bond, and that s/he trusts me completely. I could just here the "Test Flight" theme from the movie in my head when I'm on the back of my pterosaur...
Great Leonopteryx
MemberCompsognathusDec-08-2014 10:11 PMQuetzalcoatlus of course
first because, I bet it would be awesome to ride those flying giants
and I can do many thing with them
I can troll someone by ordering the quetzalcoatlus to poop on top of them
It is easier to escape to the air since, no one can follow me there
Travelling is easy, I can go anywhere whenever I want, the only thing that can stop me are bad weather
and when I saw someone I hate, I can just command them to grab those dastard and throw them ito the ground, watching him/her die crashing to the ground from the seat of glory on top of my mount

MemberBrachiosaurusDec-09-2014 4:10 AMDoes it have to be a real dinosaur?
If not, then i would train a Godzillasaurus then feed it radiation for it to become....
GOJIRA!!!!!!!!
LOL, just kidding.
Probably Deinonychus because they are closest to the Raptors in JP, but if i could train the Raptors in JP and JW...then HELL YEAH!!!!!!!!!!

MemberCompsognathusDec-09-2014 9:12 AMEpanterias. Why? Because I love Allosaurs. I would also train Tyrannotitan because it is one bad-ass motherf*cker
