10. Spinosaurus
Though a pretty famous dinosaur, Spinosaurus has only been featured in a handful of documentaries.
9. Daspletosaurus
Despite it's somewhat obscure reputation, Daspletosaurus is actually a pretty commonly featured species.
8. Ankylosaurus
Ankylosaurus has had a decent amount of apperances in dinosaur documentaries.
7. Coelophysis
Coelophysis is commonly featured in documenaries, usually when the show covers the beginning of the Mesozoic.
6. Ceratosaurus
Ceratosaurus may owe it's apperances in documentaries partly to Allosaurus, though such a unique dinosaur doesn't need too much help.
5. Stegosaurus
Stegosaurus is one of the most commonly featured herbivores in dinosaur documentaries.
4. Diplodocus
When a sauropod is featured in a documentary, Diplodocus is perhaps the most commonly used species.
3. Allosaurus
Allosaurus is easily one of the most commonly featured theropods in dinosaur documentaries.
2. Triceratops
Due to the fact that Triceratops is perhaps one of the most famous dinosaurs, it's one of the most commonly featured in documentaries.
1. Tyrannosaurus
Whether it's actually in a docuentary or simply mentioned, T.rex is featured in nearly every single dinosaur documentary.
Honorable Mentions...
Edmontosaurus
Velociraptor
Giganotosaurus

MemberCompsognathusNov-05-2014 7:14 AMGreat list and I almost agree fully, the only changes I would make would be to rank Spinosaurus a little bit higher and Edmontosaurus as well.
Keep in mind that many people have died for their beliefs; it's actually quite common. The real courage is in living and suffering for what you believe in. -Brom-

MemberCompsognathusNov-05-2014 4:33 PMNice post, I definetily have to agree with T. Rex being first. Though I do wish for future dinosaur documentaries to have other dinosaurs, not the usual ones like Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Spinosaurus etc. As I have stated in other posts I would like to see a lot more attention put towards Non-Spinosaur Megalosaurs.

MemberAllosaurusNov-05-2014 5:28 PMIt's kind of surprising Planet Dinosaur didn't iclude Tyrannosaurus. (Id did mention it a few times though.)
