Here's a rough top 10 largest sauropods. Amphicoelias, Ultrasauros, and company will be excluded due to fragmentary/lost remains. 10. Camarasaurus- 60-70 ft long and 25-35 tons 9. Seismosaurus- 100-165 ft long and 35-45 tons 8. Brachiosaurus- 75-85 ft long and 40-50 tons 7. Supersaurus- 100-145 ft long and 45-55 tons 6. Paralititan- 75-85 ft long and 50-60 tons 5. Sauroposeidon- 80-90 ft long and 60-70 tons 4. Puertosaurus- 85-95 ft long and 70-80 tons Now, for the top 3... 3. Ruyangosaurus- 90-105 ft long and 85-95 tons 2. Alamosaurus- 100-115 ft long and 90-100 tons 1. Argentinosaurus- 100-120 ft long and 105-120 tons Sizes and positions are subject to change pending further finds, but like I said, this is a ROUGH top 10. Size estimates are based on my own and other estimates. PS- If you're wondering why Camarasaurus is on there, well, I had to start somewhere ;)

Well, I have to say I agree with this list, althought the first three are arguable, but by a bit, so... nice list!

Thanks. Like I said, it's debatable. What's your top 10?

Well, I think the Diplodocus, Antarctosaurus and Futalogknosaurus should have maked through this list, and also, the Alamosaurus should be first. But these are just my thoughts.

I put Diplodocus at about 80-100 ft long, but only 10-20 tons in weight. As far as Antarctosaurus goes, it's comparable to Puertosaurus or Sauroposeidon. Futalognkosaurus is about the same size as Ruyangosaurus. Like I said, the general positions on the list are debatable. I could only have so many on it after all ;)

Good list. It's pretty accurate for a rough list.

Thanks. PS- Forgot to mention, position on the list is based on weight, not length.

That happens. I just automatically think that they are in weight

pretty nice list but i would put puertasaurus first because it the widest dinosaur of all time being 8 m from side to side which would put it at (my estimation) 130-132 tons

Yeah, by the way, for being a rough list it's just awesome. With so many big suropods I can imagine it's not so simple incuding everyone's favourite :).

My list would be mostly these, with Amphicoelias fragillimus at the top. Argentinosaurus would be behind Puertasaurus on mine, since, well, Puertasaurus is undeniably bigger. Alamosaurus would be my honorable mention. Your text to link here...

All the positions are debatable. Like I said, I left Amphicoelias out since it's so elusive.

I'm agree with you, but Puertasaurus was likely larger than Argy.
