Tarbosaurus
The individual in this fight is a four ton male. He's experienced, he never gives up, and he's powerful.
The individual this time around is a four ton male. He's experienced, and he's never lost a battle near a river.
Begin!
The Tarbosaurus is hunting. He hasn't had a meal in a few days, but that's longer than he's used to, and he doesn't like it. He found some footprints, and he followed them for a half hour. When he found the source, a herd of Parasaurolophus, he got into position and charged. He saw they were on a river bank, but he didn't think much of hit. He killed the nearest Parasaurolophus with surgical precision, jamming a tooth between the base of the skull and the last vertebra. He began eating, but his meal was quickly interrupted.
The Suchomimus roared a challenge to the Tarbosaurus. The Tarbosaurus looked at the Suchomimus for a minute and then continued eating. The Suchomimus took the action as an insult. This was his territory he was trespassing on, and such a sign of disrespect will not be tolerated. The Suchomimus charged, drawing first blood with a swift slash the back of his opponent's head.
The Tarbosaurus roared as he looked at the Suchomimus. Blood was dripping from his hand claws, and he felt something warm trickling down his neck. The Tarbosaurus roared in anger. The fight is on.
The Tarbosaurus stepped away from the carcass, somewhere more open. The Suchomimus was doing the same. Neither wanted to trip on the carcass, but both wanted to use it to their advantage. They quickly saw that they were roughly the same size, and the number of scars both had showed they were both experienced. Both knew this would be a tough battle.
The Tarbosaurus mock charged, and the Suchomimus stepped back, closer to the river. The Tarbosaurus stepped closer and mock charged again. The Suchomimus didn't flinch as he repeated the action three more times. The Tarbosaurus charged for real, and the Suchomimus sidestepped. The Tarbosaurus stopped just short of the edge, and the Suchomimus attacked. He bit the Tyrannosaur's neck and started pushing him into the river. The Tarbosaurus pushed back, but the Suchomimus overpowered him.
The Tarbosaurus lowered his head, and the Suchomimus stumbled forward. When the Suchomimus lost grip, the Tarbosaurus stood back up and looked at him. He was in the river, and swam to the other side. The Tarbosaurus looked at him, and he didn't lose sight of the Spinosaur as he walked to the carcass. He had a quick bite, and then looked back up. The Suchomimus was slowly swimming back to the other side. The Tarbosaurus started running at him, but the Suchomimus was ready by the time the Tyrannosaur arrived.
The Suchomimus sidestepped and shoulder checked the Tarbosaurus. The Tarbosaurus fell onto his side and slid a few feet in the sand. He stood up, and his whole left side was stinging. The Suchomimus took a quick look at the Tarbosaurus before he charged. The Tyrannosaur's whole left side was coated in blood, and the sand was stained red as well. The Suchomimus slammed into the Tarbosaurus, and the Tarbosaurus stumbled back. The Suchomimus was about to charge again, but the Tarbosaurus had regained his balance and charged quicker than he had expected.
The Tarbosaurus bit the Spinosaur's neck, and he started pushing. The Suchomimus roared in pain as he neck was dragged through the sand, but he managed to free himself. The Tarbosaurus stepped back when the Suchomimus slashed him, and the Suchomimus was looking at him. He was about to stand up, but the Tarbosaurus attacked again. This time, he bit his skull and bit as hard as he could. The Suchomimus kicked and slashed at the Tarbosaurus, and one of the desperate blows hit home. The Tarbosaurus stepped back, roaring in pain as blood dripped from a new gash on his neck.
The Suchomimus quickly stood up and went into the river. He swam across slowly, and when he reached the other side, looked at the Tarbosaurus. The Tarbosaurus roared, and the Suchomimus roared back. The Tarbosaurus looked at the river. It wasn't that far across, and it wasn't moving very fast either. The Tarbosaurus didn't see anything in the river, and he made a fatal mistake. He stepped into the river and started swimming across.
The Suchomimus couldn't get into the river fast enough, and once he was hip deep, he glided effortlessly towards the Tarbosaurus. The Tarbosaurus started trying to swim back, but it was too late. The Spinosaur took a deep breath, opened his jaws and bit down on the Tyrannosaur's neck. He brought his head under the water, and the Tarbosaurus struggled for several minutes before his body went limp. The Suchomimus held on for another minute, just to be sure, and then he let go. The Tyrannosaur's lifeless body floated down the river for miles before hitting the river bank.
The Suchomimus had started eating from the Parasaurolophus carcass. A pack of Compsognathus had been eating from the carcass as they watched the fight, and they scattered when the Suchomimus emerged from the river.
