Carnotaurus
The individual in this fight is a one and a half ton Carnotaurus. He's experienced, and his camouflage ability has made him one of the most successful small* predators on the island.
Ceratosaurus
The Ceratosaurus in this fight is a one ton male. He's experienced, he's fast and agile, and his bite is one of the deadliest bites the island has ever seen proportionately.
*small as in under two tons in weight
Begin!
The Carnotaurus is looking for a meal. He hasn't eaten in a few days because the only things he's come across is large herbivores, but he's git a scent trail. It doesn't matter to him what it is, as long as it's food.
The Ceratosaurus is eating from his kill. He just took down a young Hadrosaur, not four hundred pounds in weight. It wasn't much, but it was sufficient for the time. He picked the carcass clean in under twenty minutes, and he heard a roar just before he exited the clearing. He turned to face his challenger, and he saw the Carnotaurus. He roared back at the Carnotaurus and stepped back into the clearing.
They both flashed their teeth as they walked in circles, sizing each other up. It was apparent to the Ceratosaurus that he didn't have a weight advantage, but he wasn't at a disadvantage because of it. The Carnotaurus saw he had the weight advantage, but his opponent's teeth kept him from getting too confident. The Ceratosaurus saw the Carnotaurus wasn't getting too confident, and he began to underestimate his opponent.
The Ceratosaurus mock charged. The Carnotaurus didn't flinch. The Ceratosaurus mock charged again, and once again, the Carnotaurus didn't flinch. The Ceratosaurus decided it was time to attack, and he charged, jaws agape. The Carnotaurus sidestepped and bit the Ceratosaur's neck. The Ceratosaurus struggled free rather quickly, his opponent's teeth not having much grip, and he was used to harder bites.
When the Ceratosaurus got free, he growled at the Carnotaurus as he put some ground between them. The Carnotaurus mock charged, and the Ceratosaurus jumped to the side. The Carnotaurus charged, and the Ceratosaurus sidestepped and bit his neck. The Carnotaurus roared as he tried to free himself, but his opponent's teeth only went deeper.
The Carnotaurus started pushing the Ceratosaurus, and pretty soon, he shoved the Ceratosaurus into a tree. The Ceratosaurus roared as he was pinned against the tree, and he started clawing at the Carnotaurus in an effort to free himself. The Carnotaurus kept pushing against the tree, but the Ceratosaurus managed to bring his toe claws up and scratched his opponent's belly. The Carnotaurus jumped back, and the Ceratosaurus landed on his feet. He was breathing heavily, but quickly catching his breath.
The Carnotaurus charged, trying to get the Ceratosaurus before he caught his breath. He headbutted the Ceratosaurus into the tree, and he stepped back as the Ceratosaurus dropped. The Ceratosaurus landed on his side, and he looked up at the Carnotaurus. The Carnotaurus was standing over him, ready for the Ceratosaurus to try something. The Ceratosaurus saw what the Carnotaurus was ready to do, and he looked his opponent dead in the eye. The Carnotaurus didn't lose eye contact, and that may cost him.
The Ceratosaurus caught his breath, and he stood up with blinding speed, and before the Carnotaurus had time to react, the Ceratosaurus was biting his neck. The Carnotaurus roared as he jumped back. The Ceratosaurus held on, and he reared up. The Ceratosaurus still held on as he was lifted off the ground. The Carnotaurus thrashed for several minutes before the Ceratosaurus finally lost his grip. The Carnotaurus took a few steps back and attempted to catch his breath.
The Ceratosaurus saw the Carnotaurus was having some trouble, and he charged again. He headbutted the Carnotaurus in the chest, knocking him back a bit. The Carnotaurus took a quick breath and looked at the Ceratosaurus. His opponent was merciless, and he had an empty stare, as if he had no feelings, no emotions. He was still trying to figure out what was happening when he was hit from the side with the force of a semi truck. The Carnotaurus hit a tree, and when he looked up, two Ceratosaurus were facing him.
The Carnotaurus tried to stand up, but his leg was broken. He had several broken ribs, and he couldn't hardly move anymore. He heard a growl from the second Ceratosaurus, and six or seven Ceratosaurus chicks stepped into the clearing and started tearing away at one of the open wounds on his neck. The Carnotaurus could feel his time was almost up, and the last thing he saw was the Ceratosaurus mates bump snouts.
Winner.......... Ceratosaurus
He was winning when the female came out. I figured it would be a more fun way to end the battle.

MemberCompsognathusSep-09-2014 5:33 AMGreat fight and I must agree. There's just no way a Ceratosaurus could kill two angry Ceratosaurs protecting their chicks.
Keep in mind that many people have died for their beliefs; it's actually quite common. The real courage is in living and suffering for what you believe in. -Brom-

MemberTriceratopsSep-09-2014 8:38 AMHe was outnumbered, and when the second one came out, no way was he going to win this one. Well deserved for the Carnotaurs I say.
