The Original Crew

Muldoon is in one of the InGen helicopters heading for the mainland.

"Alright Robert, I'm General Smith. Once the park is complete, I'll be head of security, and Lieutenant Baker over there will be the programmer." Muldoon looked at the Lieutenant, clearly impressed. "Looks like John didn't cheap out this time." The Lieutenant was the first to respond. "What do you mean by that?" "The last programmer was that fat bastard Dennis Nedry." "Tell me about this Nedry fellow." "Alright General Smith." Muldoon goes on to tell the General all about Nedry and how he found the body.

"Alright, we're almost at our destination." "And that is?" "John Hammond's mansion." "Seriously? John is still alive?" "I know, he's doing better than someone his age usually is." "He's doing better than I expected then. I thought for sure he would have passed, he was seventy when he tried to open that park." "I know Robert, I know."

In Hammond's mansion, John Hammond, Alan Grant, Ian Malcolm, and Ellie Sattler are in the dining room, awaiting Muldoon's arrival.

"So John, who is this special guest anyway?" "I already told you Alan, it's a surprise." "Come on John, at least give us a clue." "Ian, I've already told you, no, it's just going to be a surprise." "Are they going to be an employee? At least tell us that." "Fine Ellie, I'm not sure, his choice."

Before the conversation went much further, the doorbell ringing got everyone's attention. "Send him in! I've been dying to see him!" A few minutes later, Muldoon steps into the dining room, still in the shorts and shirt he had worn the day the park was abandoned.

"Hello Robert, how are things going?" "Things are going pretty good now John." Malcolm, Grant, and Sattler were all speechless as they watched Muldoon sit down and begin eating. "This is good steak John. This is amazing compared to the Hadrosaurs Rexy killed."

Grant and Sattler look at Muldoon, amazed and not believing what they just heard, and Malcolm did a spit take and started choking on his drink. "What do mean by "the Hadrosaurs Rexy killed?" "I mean, this steak is amazing compared to what Rexy killed and I cooked." "How where you not killed by her? She's huge, and she didn't look like the kind to give up some scraps to a hungry person." "Alan, I'm here today because Rexy kept me alive." "How? Seriously, how? She nearly killed Ian, she nearly killed me and the kids, and don't get me started on Gennaro." Sattler speaks up, "And don't forget the chase in the Jeep. She nearly killed Ian a second time, me, and you." "That was mistaken identity, she was hungry, and Gennaro a convenient snack."

"Alright, don't argue, we're here to celebrate the fact that Robert is still alive, and the start of a new park. I'd also love to hear about how Robert survived." "I guess so John, so let's just talk about the plans for this new park, and how Robert survived." "Good idea Alan, good idea." "Robert, what do you think?" "Sure, why not, I've been dying to tell someone."
