Jurassic World, formerly known as Jurassic Park IV, is coming June 12, 2015. And while we have quite a wait, that gives us time to speculate ideas and gives the production team time to assure the greatest dinosaur movie in over a decade will please us. So, without any further ado, here is my list of 10 things we may see in Jurassic World. 10. No Spinosaurus Let's face it: Spinosaurus is the most evil villain in the series. It murdered out favorite antihero and didn't even get more than a scratch. But that's the thing... it's a little TOO good at getting heat from the fans. One needs only to look at the Spinosaurus fan ratio to see how hated it is. As soon as it slaughtered Tyrannosaurus in Jurassic Park III, every fan was shocked. A few were shocked in a good way, but the majority unjustly hate the spined lizard because of this. A lot of people want to see a rematch with Spino losing, but that's unlikely according to several sources, especially since Jack Horner is still dinosaur adviser and he values Spinosaurus highly, not to mention that it is pointless because that pretty much wipes out the next generation of Spinosaurus fans and, while relieving some of the hate, makes Spinosaurus look weak. A cameo is good, but not any major role. 9. A Fight Scene In Jurassic Park, we saw Velociraptors take on Tyrannosaurus rex, establishing Tyrannosaurus as the king of Jurassic Park and the antihero, saving our protagonists. In The Lost World, we saw humans vs dinosaurs. In Jurassic Park III, we saw Spinosaurus take on Tyrannosaurus. As per tradition, we are very likely to see a fight in Jurassic World. My money's on the old predators vs the new predator (which comes later on in this list) 8. Parasaurolophus and Triceratops Okay, I'll be honest. This is a filler entry. Still, Parasaurolophus and Triceratops are the only non-stars that have appeared in all three previous films. Triceratops will likely play a more major role, being more "interesting" to many than the duck billed hadrosaur that is Parasaurolophus. 7. Familiar Faces My great aunt (75) mentioned something she saw on TV last night. She claims to have seen people discussing Jurassic World, and mentioning that it would be released in 2015. She also mentioned that the people who were talking mentioned "the old guy and that girl, and those other guys" would be in the movie, and I'm translating that to John Hammond and Lex or Kelly, plus some other previous characters. That's all she said, but I suspected as much beforehand. The old characters need to appear in some way shape or form to keep things interesting for the audience. Colin Trevorrow seems to know what the fans want, being a genuine fan himself, and has to have picked up on the infamous chemistry between Alan Grant and Ian Malcolm by now. For these reasons, I believe some of, if not all of, the original protagonists will star in Jurassic World. 6. The Original Dinosaurs Colin Trevorrow has all but confirmed Tyrannosaurus and Velociraptors will appear. They are the most highly regarded and famous of all dinosaurs, inside or outside of the Jurassic Park franchise. They each have their own interesting characteristics that make them ultimate candidates for villainous dinosaur roles in Jurassic World. Tyrannosaurus is huge, muscular, a classic, has twelve inch teeth, high intelligence for a dinosaur and is nearly invincible. Velociraptor is speedy, intelligent, a pack hunter, capable of jumping, has two sickle-shaped claws on its feet and is the size of a man (in the JP universe). I mean, really. What's not scary about them and why should they leave the movie? 5. Pteranodon At the end of Jurassic Park III, multiple Pteranodon flew out of their aviary and were seen flying towards the mainland. Surely, something like giant dinosaur bird things with leathery wings of death spanning 30 feet escaping into the world can't be ignored. Pteranodon will likely play a major role in the movie. If the title is any indication, dinosaurs and pterosaurs are going to play a bigger role than ever. 4. The Most Dinosaurs of Any JP Movie T. rex, Velociraptor, Triceratops, Stegosaurus, Parasaurolophus, Gallimimus, Brachiosaurus, Dilophosaurus, Compsognathus, Pteranodon, Pachycephalosaurus, Spinosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Corythosaurus, Ceratosaurus, Mamenchisaurus, Apatosaurus, Metriacanthosaurus, Proceratosaurus, Segisaurus, Herrerasaurus, Suchomimus, Baryonyx and Stenonychosaurus (Troodon) are all shown or mentioned in the films or their names are seen. We see just quite a few dinosaurs in each movie, a few only appearing for a couple minutes but still being memorable. Perfect examples of this are Dilophosaurus, the spitting dinosaur with the frill, and Ceratosaurus, the dinosaur with the red head that almost ate the protagonists in JP III but left after smelling them. Even the sick Triceratops is a classic scene! Jurassic World needs to be bigger, badder, and better to deliver properly. What makes any film bigger, badder, and better? More dinosaurs, the biggest, baddest and best creatures to live on earth. 3. A Nocturnal Villain Earlier on in Jurassic World's production, dinosaur adviser Jack Horner spilled a little information about the confirmed new villain. He stated “I can’t actually tell you who that will be…But you’ll want to keep the lights on after you see this movie.”. Obviously, that implies two things. One, it's terrifying. You wouldn't flinch if a Compsognathus looked at you because it's not scary. Two, it's nocturnal. You wouldn't bother turning the lights on if something like a Tyrannosaurus was stalking you in your house at night. It would be just as blind as you. To me there are two main candidates. Carnotaurus and Troodon. In the Jurassic Park universe, Carnotaurus is a chameleon of unparalleled skill, being able to completely hide themselves from view by changing their pigmentation. They hunt nocturnally in packs and are so deadly that even Rexy, the biggest Tyrannosaurus ever known, fears them come night time. These ugly short armed and horned abelisaurs are thought to be able to run 43 miles per hour. Though their bite forces aren't high, their jaws snap shut at incredible speed and they would be able to maul a human to death without trouble. Carnotaurus appeared in the Lost World novel and were scripted to appear in Jurassic Park III, but their scenes were ultimately cut... Perhaps because they could have been a future antagonist? Remember, they could easily fit into the story as animals that were present the whole time, invisible, but they are revealed in Jurassic World. As for their competitor... Troodon is a 7 foot long dromaeosaur relative that on average stands about 4 feet tall, maybe shorter (though a larger Alaskan species exists). Its claws are like those of Velociraptor, but shorter and Troodon was overall more gracile and less intimidating in build. Not scary at all, right? Dead wrong in the most literal way if you are in Jurassic World. Troodon was the most intelligent dinosaur of all, beating out most modern animals in smarts. Troodon had specialized legs: the middle leg bones formed a pinched wedge, allowing it to sprint insanely fast and jump very high. It also had binocular vision better than that or at the very least rivaling that of humans in depth perception, though their vision in general is better without a doubt. Troodon stalked prey in packs during the night and in the Jurassic Park universe it's venomous, packing unspecified neurotoxins in its saliva. They appeared in the Jurassic Park game and vocalized with a sinister clicking sound like that of a raven or crow. It also snarls and screeches as well as bugles like an elk on occasion. Perhaps the most horrifying thing about Troodon, something that solidifies their position as the definition of terror, is their venom's purpose. They paralyze animals (including humans) with their venom, flay them open, lay their eggs in the poor animal and when they hatch, the babies eat you alive. The paralyzed animal would be conscious throughout all of this, unable to move or scream but feeling every bit of pain. They are said to have been present throughout the Nublar incident, causing mass havoc and chaos while at the same time staying hidden. Not convinced? Check out this video of Jurassic Park Troodon if they aren't creepy enough yet {link} 2. Dinosaurs Reigning Supreme The way I see it, the title is either a play on the name SeaWorld and will feature tame dinosaurs, or it will involve dinosaurs escaping the island and taking back what was rightfully theirs from us pathetic little mammals. Trevorrow already denied the first, so that leaves the second. We're pretty much screwed. Not even the biggest mammal alive and ever, the blue whale, could withstand an attack from a pod of Pliosaurus. Elephants, the biggest land mammal today, would fall prey to a Tyrannosaurus quite easily. Deinonychus and Velociraptor could prey on humans, for crying out loud! Or, as I hypothesize, both will occur, with the SeaWorld thing only happening in the beginning before all hell breaks loose. The humans may fail in the end or only barely fight back the dinosaurs, setting up for... 1. A Sequel You can't just start "Jurassic World" as a spinoff without a sequel, especially if my number 2 prediction is correct. As long as this is a commercial success (why wouldn't it be?) a sequel is virtually guaranteed. I see humans being the endangered species after this new trilogy (as I theorize will happen) and the dinosaurs taking back the earth as is prophesied in Jurassic Park when Ian Malcolm and Ellie Sattler speak the lines "God creates dinosaurs. God destroys dinosaur. God creates man. Man destroys God. Man creates dinosaurs." "Dinosaurs eat man. Woman inherits the earth." Perhaps the last line, while intended to be humorous, takes on a darker and more sinister undertone when you remember that all of the dinosaurs created by InGen are females...

That's a pretty good list. I see a lot of that being true.
