New Arrivals
Storm’s family needs to eat. While Blue-Eye stays behind to watch the young, Storm sets off to find suitable prey. He saw a herd of Edmontosaurus earlier in the week and decides to try and find them. It’s not long before he finds something. But it’s not the Edmontosaurus herd.
Storm exits the forest while following a scent trail and finds something odd. He looks out at the clearing and sees a family of tyrannosaurs. There are two adults and a couple of chicks. Both adults are large and the male has a significant amount of scars. One noticeable injury is an area where some of the spine is exposed. The female also has a fair amount of scars, but not as many. She is also slightly smaller than the male. Storm can tell they are not a mated pair, but probably closely related, perhaps siblings. He has no intention of fighting. Storm knows that there is plenty of food to go around. But he does want to make his presence known to them.
Storm approaches the pair cautiously and respectfully. The male and female get defensive immediately. The male prepares to fight Storm, but hesitates. While Storm is not the biggest tyrannosaur he’s ever seen, he does bear numerous scars. The one on Storm’s nose catches his eye quickly. He can tell Storm is an experienced fighter, much like himself. Unlike the pair of tyrannosaurs this male had just fought, Storm is much more respectful. He is not looking for a fight. The male then realizes that this is Storm’s territory. He can also smell another tyrannosaur in the area, Blue-Eye. Knowing that a fight would only result in the injury and possible death of both himself and Storm, not to mention Blue-Eye and the male’s sister, he decides to meet Storm halfway.
Storm and the male tyrannosaur stand face to face, the female staying back with the young. The two giants tentatively smell each other. They then decide to size each other up, just in case a future battle should ensue. The two males are close in size. Each take into account the other’s scars and experience level. Both are veteran fighters and born survivors. After establishing that neither is a threat to the other, the two tyrannosaurs go their separate ways. Storm watches as the group moves toward a hill in the distance and Storm continues his search for food.

Keep in mind that many people have died for their beliefs; it's actually quite common. The real courage is in living and suffering for what you believe in. -Brom-
