Suddenly, he catches the sent of something. He moves through the forest to find a nest near a cliff edge which plummets 200 feet to the land beneath. A tall rock spire stands at the edge of the cliff. In the nest are half a dozen Rex chicks still covered in feathers. The Spino knows killing these chicks will eliminate future competition. He is bending over to bite one when a massive head slams into his side. Spino stumbles back a few steps. The attack was a massive female Tyrannosaurus. Like the Spino, she is also very large, 50 feet long and 8 or more tons. She roars a deafening roar. It tells the Spino, "Mess with my babies, you're messing with hell!" The Spino lets out a loud shriek in response. He then charges the Rex. Without a sail to inhibit her agility, she easily outmaneuvers the him. Even still, Spino slashes with his hand claws and tears open her left shoulder. The cut goes clear to bone. The female Rex is furious now. Right after the Spino slashes, she kicks out with her foot and cuts his right ankle. The injury is not serious, but Spino has trouble putting all his weight on that leg now. He snaps his long jaws angrily and leaps forwards. He tries to bite the female Rex on the head but only gets a grazing blow, lightly cutting the side of her face. The female Rex has had enough. She suddenly charges the Spino and bites down on the back of his neck. The force crushes many bones. Spino tries to strike back by slashing her face with his claws, but the injuries are not serious enough. Instead of breaking his neck and severing the spinal cord, the female Rex decides to swing the Spino around. She lets go and sends him flying into the rock spire. His massive 6.5 ton weight breaks through the spire and the Spino finds himself falling 200 feet to his death. The mother Tyrannosaurus roars in triumph and turns to check on her offspring.
This fight is not biased. Both carnivores landed blows. The Spino lost because he failed to realize that the bond between the mother Rex and her chicks was stronger than any weapon he had. I know, it's no DinoFights and Paden fight, but it's one way the battle could have gone.
Questions? Comments? Let me know. I worked really hard on trying to figure this fight out and I hope you guys liked it.
