Well, I was bored and then remembered that there were allegedly plans for a fourth Jurassic Park (back then I thought that the whole thing was just a hoax, but I wanted to make sure). So I looked it up and next thing you know, I landed here. I looked through the JW news and was pretty sure that this is serious and not just some sadistic hoax, but that wasn't why I stayed. What fascinated me more than anything else, was the community. Back then I thought I knew a lot about dinosaurs, but as soon as I saw what you guys were talking about, I realized how much I was actually uninformed. My urge to learn became so strong that I made my own account so I could remember to re-visit. I soon joined up in some conversations and then I found the sites of RexFan, Delta and Dino Steve. It was just what I was looking for, a great source of knowledge and that was probably what gave the push for me to become a regular. In the end it was my thirst for knowledge and your hard work.
I was glad none of them died it was a great fight!
He didn't fry any of my compies. They were test dummies.
Carnosaur, that's not even all of them, the rest are out in the battle ground, waiting.
Good fight, I was rooting for Albertosaurus. Please don't give her a slow, painful death.
Really looking forward to this, hope they do the franchise justice!
Anyhow, I really do want to see some abandoned/ruined structures from the origional film to tie it all together nicely (maybe remnants of the collapsed rex paddock fencing)
Looking at the second picture, there appear to be thick metal poles going vertically (almost centre and to the right, the dark grey) that then slant at a slight angle inwards - the way they bend inwards reminds me of the raptor pen (here: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ovfsvNR043M/UK5n13yGRYI/AAAAAAAAAR4/CzcdcCbi2C8/s1600/RaptorPen.jpg) so I'm wondering if it could be a lab with attached pen or something? Also it does look quite dilapidated in the images though it is hard to tell. Maybe abandoned?
it's not even a complete skull for one, and two, it looks like a replica of sorts.
There's no evidence of Carcharodontosaurs in late cretacious north america for another point
Great fight as always carnosaur, you definitely are one of (if not the) best on the forum. I rooting for lythronax, but still a fantastic fight. Look forward to one with Tyrannosaurus hopefully. ;)
Also, thanks for helping me out there. It'll be good, what I'm bringing soon. You and everyone else's topics about the tyrants will be great as well. With teeth, I like that title. Nice Work and Thanks again!
Thanks Guys ! i really think Scientist and paleontologist should investigated this Mystery further.
Rex fan, how in hell are you going to FEED such a large army?
Good fight was rooting for Lynthronax
Same here Primal. I think Chris gives you the possition. I want to become a Moderator so bad. It would be a great honor.
Amazing fight. One of your best. Fan-freaking-tastic.
Yah, 1 minute later you say you are leaving I press "Post discussion"
Yeah, I actually didnt lurk, more just watched. How do you become a moderater?
And I have 52. Good luck with that (not trying to sound sarcastic). I was just signing in for a few minutes (what are the odds? I leave and the thing is posted five minutes later).
Now I have 25. I hope I get more soon. And I hope to become a moderator very soon actually.
Yes. When I started, I didn't know how to post a discussion (nor could my ego take asking how). I gained a few followers though (must be doing something right if the Admin is one of the first to follow you). I remember back when DinoFights was starting out (when he didn't follow many people amd had tons of followers), and I felt honoured when he followed me (at that point, I might have had 5).
I also wish to becoma a moderator one day.
Didn't you also start unknown and unpopular, though?
Let's see.
I looked T-Rex vs Spinosaurus (some of the wiki debates are hilarious), and found this website. It was easy enough to register an account, and I did. After that, I made my first post in a Rex vs Spino, and I posted a few plot ideas. After that, more Rex vs Spino. I originally was only going to stuck around for. Rex vs Spino, but it lasted so long (and I gained so much popularity) that I decided to stick around after the debates were settled. I started writing my stories, and got more followers.
Must be doing something right, I've got more than 50 followers.
Wow. That's a long time, lurking about in the shadows...
Yeah, I meant to get around to it but finally just did it last january.
I did the same thing with the Wikia's. Just longer.
Wow, very interesting guys.
Primal, you mean to ay you lurked around this forum for 6 months!?
One day after going through the same thing with you and dinosaurs, I looked up Tyrannosaurus vs Spinosaurus written fight. This site came up with a result. I looked and was instantly interested. I followed for about 1/2 a year then finally joined on January 21. Happy to be here and happy to stay.
i remember sitting at my lap top, cruising Jurassic Park news. For the longest time, i JP4 would be a reality. After a few days, i would search JP4. Just to see if there was anything. Then one day i came across this site, and read the fights of Mr.Happy and DinoFights. A few days passed, and i decided i would sign up. Now look, one of the most recognized Dino fight writers on the site. It's all thanks to you guys..
Couldn't have done it without all y'all!
I first found it in 2013 after I was looking for news on Jurassic Park 4 (before it was renamed Jurassic World). I was searching on Wikipedia and it said the director created this site as a news site. Obviously it was wrong. I looked on it and it was interesting. I lurked on it for awhile, and thanks to this I found the Godzilla 2014 site. In November I finally joined and I will probably stay on here for a long time. Thank you for not leaving Raptor.
And one other underwater super predator.
indeed it is, classification is a tricky thing..
Ahh, suddenly I'm thinking of Liopleurodons and Mosasaurs.
