First off, welcome to the forums!
As for the game, Never played it.
(Kill me, I dare you)
Well I don't know where you're getting spinosaurus arms from when there is no spinosaurus DNA in D-Rex. But anyway, since D-rex is part raptor and part rex, I think it'll be slightly smaller than a rex, but still be strong like a rex, and agilequick, and cunning like a raptor. My guesstimates are 35-38 ft long, 6-7.5 tons, and 15-17 ft tall.
Well, thanks for letting me know, this way I can learn from my mistakes and make a better story next time.
Nice find! Cool design!
yeah its pretty nasty looking isnt it
This is a great story! I can kind of see a few parallels with how Godzilla (2014) started, with a disaster happening because of some creature's escape, but it shouldn't impact the story negatively.
Saw it before, but woah, that will keep me up at night if it was staring at me.
It's a very hard game
no save system, a lot of bugs especially in the raptor and t-rex level
and of course, awesome background music
Welcom to the forums!
I'm not the biggest fan of the game, but it's good none the less.
Update: Added picture.
Well, we do know how fast that they reached adult size. It is known that many tyrannosaurs reached what is considered maturity around 18-20 years of age. and although yes, I agree with you that we may never know how fast they reached adult size, but as I said, the current estimate is 30-40 years for the average Tyrannosaurus specimen. As with all animals though, it is entirely possible that a T. rex could've lived to be 50 years old, although that would take perfect living conditions, which it most certainly would not have had after the incident on Isla Nublar, due to being confined to one relatively small island, having to fight to survive, and a lack of lysine (which would've killed her anyway). So again, rexy is most likely dead.
But we don't know really how old Tyrannosaurs could've lived. Or, how fast they could've reached adult size. So it still is possible.
Already checked. He said it was ok.
but what i mean is raptor said he migth not have internet where he is going, thats why he printed them
Not exactly a chapter, but thanks!
I know. I'm emailing this to him.
Another reason why I believe that rexy died, is because in the first movie she was around 20-30 years old, a fully-grown, adult T. rex. Now, in the modern field of paleontology we believe that The average tyrannosaurus would age to around 30-40 years. The new film takes place over 20 years after the first movie did. Are you starting to catch on? Even at the lower estimate for her age, that means that she is almost guaranteed to be dead. So, even if rexy were to show up, she would be in the last moments of her life. She wouldn't be chasing down jeeps and smashing fences like she was in the first movie.
It is because of this, (amongst other things) that I do not think rexy will be in Jurassic World.
sorry to say this, Raptor whent on vacation yesterday
Rexy was developing stripes, prominent crests, and a throat sack towards the end of the movie. (the first JP) Male and female animals look very similar at a young age until they reach either adult size or sexual maturity, at which the differences develop. Rexy could still be a male in my book. But anyone notice the "slit pupil" eye? Way cool, and love the colors. This isn't Rexy, but a Rex at least 40-45 feet long (about Rexy size. Maybe even bigger.) Maybe it has the slit eyes because it is crossed with more closely related species (birds and reptiles, both of which have been known to have similar eyes.) Love the animatronic. Thanks for the find!
WOW! That's extremely compelling imagery! I wonder if the island has a slight, um, "wild animal" problem? Maybe workers go "missing" every now and again... ;)
A very cool find and thanks for finding this for us.
SMAUG THE MAGNIFICENT - Hmm, that's a very interesting question you've posed! I'd have to agree that the egg theory many others have presented is a solid possibility. However, the animal upon the poster might simply be an escapee from the new wave of animals produced by Patel Corps. Of course, there could be some truly off-the-wall explanations! Anything's possible! :)
T-REX WHITE - How very compelling! I'm not certain of what to think of the animal just yet - I need more pictures! Regardless, thank you so very much for sharing this with us! :)
REX FAN 684 - OH! Ccongratulations! I'm so very pleased and proud for you! Keep it up! :)
REX FAN 684 - That was very fun to read! I greatly enjoyed the suspense you've placed in your work. Excellently done! Thank you ever so much for presenting this to us! :)
MR.HAPPY9097 - That was a fantastic battle! I realyy liked the line-up; both dinosaurs were fairly evenly matched. Exceptional work! Thank you so much for sharing this with us! :)
I don't think it's the actual animatronic. I think it's just for Comic Con. But, it's probably what the rex will look like in the film. Though, I hope not all the dinosaurs in the film are green.
im not sure if the island was bombed in the movie universe. they might have captured her and and gave her a younger male? either that or shes on the other side of the wall
Again, I don't think rexy is till alive, what with the original island probably getting bombed and all.... So yeah, this is almost definately not Rexy.
Well, in the book there was a large cave that was full of nesting raptors.... And that is still a possibility in the movie canon.... So.... Yeah.
they where like 5 eggs when hamond told alan they where velociraptors
i actually think its those chicks that were left over. anybody remember how many there were?
i think the gammes will no longer be cannon with the new movie
It seens johns theory is the most plausable.
sorry guys but i just dont see a helpless group of baby raptors surviving the dilos, the t rex all the herbivors and starving or freezeing to death.
i think its a male as well. but its missing the striping. is this just the head or is it a full model?
If you include Telltales game, which at this point is still canon, then there were more raptors on Nublar then the three from the main holding pen. Not all the quarentined raptors were killed in the game and we never saw them die at the end so it is very possible they escaped the fire bombing and set up nests, avoiding humans and feeding on the many rats that plagued the island while the new park was under construction.
