Begin!
The Yangchuanosaurus is hunting. He's upped his game considerably since his battle with the Tarbosaurus. He knew it was a lucky victory, and he needed to be at his best for what he wanted to do. He was planning on vengeance. The individual he wanted to take out had long since died of old age, but he's tracked one of his offspring to a large volcano, and he tends to wander away from his territory.
The Tyrannotitan is hunting. He hasn't a good meal in over a week, and now he's willing to do almost anything. He sensed something in his territory, and he went to check it out. He saw the Yangchuanosaurus standing in a clearing. He wasted no time going on the offensive.
The Tyrannotitan charged. The Yangchuanosaurus sensed the Tyrannotitan, and he turned to face him. The Tyrannotitan had his neck in his jaws within seconds of him sensing him, and the Yangchuanosaurus tried to free himself. The Tyrannotitan bit harder, and the Yangchuanosaurus tried something. He dropped to the ground, pulling the Tyrannotitan forward. The Tyrannotitan stumbled forward, and then tripped over the Yanchuanosaurus. The Yangchuanosaurus stood up as the Tyrannotitan rolled over.
The Yangchuanosaurus jumped, preparing to land on the Tyrannotitan. The Tyrannotitan kicked the Yangchuanosaurus out of the air, knocking him back over twenty feet. The Yangchuanosaurus landed on his feet, and he coughed up some blood. A few of his ribs were broken, and he was bleeding internally. The Tyrannotitan stood up and roared. The Yangchuanosaurus roared back, and they both charged. The Tyrannotitan got the early edge in the shoving match, but the Yangchuanosaurus moved out of the way quickly. The Tyrannotitan went forward, head first into a tree.
The Tyrannotitan roared in pain, and he turned around to see the Yangchuanosaurus charging at him. He ducked out of the way, and the Yangchuanosaurus ran into the same tree. The Tyrannotitan had a splitting headache, and the Yangchuanosaurus was winded. Several minutes later, both predators looked each other in the eye, ready to start fighting again.
The Tyrannotitan charged first. He lowered his head and headbutted the Yangchuanosaurus where he had been kicked earlier. The Yangchuanosaurus roared in pain as he stumbled back, and the Tyrannotitan charged again. The Yangchuanosaurus crouched as low as he could, and the Tyrannotitan didn't have time to react. The Yangchuanosaurus stood up, forcing the Tyrannotitan up. The Tyrannotitan almost flipped as he slid over the Yangchuanosaurus's back, and he landed on his side.
The Yangchuanosaurus turned to finish the Tyrannotitan off, but his counter attack didn't have the desired effect. The Tyrannotitan had quickly caught his breath, and he was already starting to stand. The Yangchuanosaurus charged again, and the Tyrannotitan roared. The Yangchuanosaurus tried to jump over the Tyrannotitan, and the Tyrannotitan caught him in mid air.
The Yangchuanosaurus roared in pain as the Tyrannotitan shoved him to the ground. The Tyrannotitan let go for a moment, and the Yangchuanosaurus took the opportunity. Before he could slam his jaws shut, the Yangchuanosaurus was out of the way, and the Yangchuanosaurus bit his neck. The Tyrannotitan stood up, and he brought the Yangchuanosaurus with him. He tried to shake the Yangchuanosaurus off, but that only made the situation worse. The Yangchuanosaurus forced the Tyrannotitan to the ground, and then he pinned him down. The Tyrannotitan knew what was coming, and he tried to free himself. He did, but it was too late. The Yangchuanosaurus bit his neck full force, effectively crushing his windpipe and neck vertebrae.
Winner........ Yangchuanosaurus
Just as large, more agile, more skilled, the fight was close.
As it stands, the finale consists of Utahraptor vs Yangchuanosaurus. Stay tuned tomorrow to find out the third competitor in the finale when Allosaurus takes on Tyrannosaurus Rex.
