MemberTyrannosaurus RexJul-21-2014 3:01 PMFirst thing's first, I didn't find this.
Not a very complicated poster. We see a Raptor standing on Explorer 04 (the one Rexy pushed off the cliff), and we see construction going on. Also, look what the helicopter by the Raptor's hips is carrying. That's a Stegosaurus. It would appear as though they are making a building of some sort, perhaps lodging, or maybe the visitor centre itself.
That said, the poster features a Raptor, standing on the remains of a vehicle from the original park, and in the wheel well, is a nest. There are live, wild dinosaurs on Isla Nublar during construction. It would appear that Nublar was left alone after the park's failure. If there's wild Raptors, perhaps we'll Rexy too.
So, any thoughts? Besides "Life finds a way" I mean.

MemberCompsognathusJul-21-2014 3:11 PMUm, rather sad that the raptors don't have any feathers but, still a cool find!

Gojira, I did mention the nest in my second paragraph. In the wheel well under the tireless wheel.

MemberCompsognathusJul-21-2014 4:20 PMHmm... I've seen it with a different coloring:
Interesting nonetheless. Perhaps the raptors weren't created for jurassic world due to what happened at the last park, but a small population survived. After the creation of the diabolus rex though, the raptors re-emerge for whatever reason, and things start to go wrong. Perhaps this is also why they are featherless, as I'm sure any modern-day dinosaur park would feather their raptors.

MemberAllosaurusJul-21-2014 6:15 PMThis is cool. I don't think we'll see Rexy, as these dinosaurs bred over 22 years.

MemberCompsognathusJul-21-2014 7:22 PMhm....
so, there'll be 2 kinds of raptor?
one created by the new jurassic world and the other who were running free on the island?
seems dangerous

MemberCompsognathusJul-21-2014 9:09 PMNo, I don't think the new park ever created new raptors, because in the last park they had the highest human kill count. I think that there were raptors that the military missed when "cleansing" The old park of its previous inhabitants after the first film.
To back my theory up, I will use this poster for evidence first. This raptor has a nest in an old Jurassic Park tour jeep, and is observing the construction of the new park. It is likely wild because of this, and was therfore likely not bred by patel. Now, what evidence do I have that patel never created raptors? Well, not long ago there was a list of dinosaurs on a pamphlet that where attractions at jurassic world. Among them, there were NO velociraptors. I found this intriguing, especially due to the fact the raptors are a famous dinosaur, and any self-respecting dinosaur park would be advertising them, that is of course, if they had them.
Where were the raptors this whole time then? Some of you may ask. Well, if you've read the first book, there was a community of raptors hiding in a cave. Also at the end of that book, the costa-rican military napalmed the island to "cleanse" it of its dinosaurs. This would not have killed the raptors in their cave, as well as any other creature that managed to successfully hide. Now, afterwards, a small ecosystem could've been able to set itself back up, with the raptors being the top predator.

MemberCompsognathusJul-21-2014 10:12 PMwow, you're actually right
there really is no raptors in the brochure
I like where this is going
nice theory btw

MemberCompsognathusJul-22-2014 1:13 AMIt might also explain why the raptors are colored the way that they are. Green with black stripes is excellent jungle camoflouge, and it is likely that they would've rapidly evolved it when left to fend for themselves on Isla Nublar.

MemberCompsognathusJul-22-2014 2:22 PMThis site was shared on the article of the poster by TheDinosaurMan, that shows a good look at the Triceratops and the Stegosaurus in both versions of the poster. Also some concept art for it.
