Nice chapter, looking forward to the next.
For the majority of the species I believe you are all correct in doubting the existance of feathers and after thinking about it, this find suggests that proto-feathers were a base trait of the archosaurs that evolved into dinosaurs with some holding on to them like this new species and maniraptora while others lost theirs or at least held a minimal amount.
Thanks. Now you know what the "bigger predator" is.
Great chapter as ussual! :)
Well, they found evidence of feathers on ceratopsians too, so it's not impossible.
Well, I got the next chapter up, so you can go see ;)
Great chapter. I can't wait for the next one. As for what the larger predator could be, I doubt that it's a T.rex since it would be too early to introduce what I assume will be the main antagonist at some point, so maybe an Allosaurus or an Abelisaurid of sorts, perhaps a Daspletosaurus/Albertosaurus or a Utahraptor.
YAY, Ceratosaurus!!! Haha, thanks.
@Trex White- We already have (well, get in the relatively near future) something very similar to that. It's called Dinosaur Battlegrounds and it's basically what you just described, but it won't have anything to do with Jurassic Park and their main point of focus is realism. So it's even better imo.
Oh yeah, I was rather proud of that myself, haha.
Why is it such a big deal Raptor? If you think about it, Spino has the more official win due to JP 3. T.rex getting a win in a video for a video game isn't nearly as official.
Great fight. You know who I was rooting for.
It prbably vaired from prey item to prey item. Minimally T.rex had a bite force around 6,800 pounds psi. At the most, it could bite down with some 40,000 pounds psi.
Oh yeah I know, I'm not mad that he lost. For me I'd rather Utah win but, I'm fine with rex winning.
Interesting, I don't thing it's true but, still a cool find.
He was a winner in the sense that he got a mate and survived.
Awesome fight, was rooting for Utharaptor not bad though wasn't expecting Utahraptor to win anyways.
Interesting to say the least.
Hm...Interesting...However, the thought of almost all dinosaurs with feathers doesn't seem too realistic, considering Tyrannosaurus, sauropods, stegosaurs, and ankylosaurs.
I've heard of that documentary before. Thanks for sharing this!
I really liked that series, it is too bad they didn't keep it going.
Maybe it's just the angle that makes the eyes look like they have slit pupils... but I sure hope the movie rex has bird-like eyes instead of slit pupils.
Maybe they'll be auctioned off after filming?
Mr Happy you better start saving!!....how about we all chip in if you promise to take the truck on tour, so we can all get to ride in it?
@Catzilla
May I ask politely why must I remove it, I use iLivid on my computer and Videoder on my phone. Anyway i'll do it

Thanks guys!:)
