LORD OF THE SPINOSAURS - That was an incredibly amazing battle! I very much enjoyed the brutality you mixed in with the otherwise graceful tone you created with the water-based sequence! Thank you so very much for sharing your hard work with us! :)

P.S - HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY! :D

Your welcome;) Anyways I still personally think Spinosaurus was bigger because of its denser bones, although you do have some points. Though both both Spinosaurus and Tyrannosaurus were amazing and unique predators, and that is more scientifically important than how big they were compared to each other.

I'm completely agree.

And thank you ;)

On the positive note I am glad you put Suchomimus and Deinocheirus on the list, those guys were pretty large but they are often ignored by people making a largest theropods list. Aside from Spinosaurus and T. Rex, I think this list is pretty accurate.

That "article" was made before the new skeleton was announced, meaning they did not know that the bones of Spinosaurus were not hollow unlike the bones of T. Rexand other theropods who have very hollow bones. Also look at this, thanks to Gojira for putting out the link:

Sorry, but Spinosaurus appears to be more gracile than T.rex in almost everything:

Spinosaurus was probably the biggest, not T. Rex. The new skeleton shows that its bones were not hollow and had almost no air spaces. A Spinosaurus rib would weigh about twice as much as that of a normal theropod like T. Rex. So the new skeleton suggests an animal BIGGER than T. Rex, not smaller.

There are a lot of people that dont trust it. Anyways im looking forward to the Spinosaurus vs Pliosaurus battle!

Well j font see it as aquatic but just semi aquatic. It didn't have a truly aquatic body. There is no proof to say that it spent most of its time in the water, yo just don't trust the new spino design. I am not arguing.

Thanks guys! BTW Tyrant King I view Spinosaurus as an aquatic animal. Also Sci-Fi King this is actually my second battle, my first was Tyrannosaurus Vs Giganotosaurus. Its ok, your not human if you don't make mistakes;)

This fight was excellent for a first battle! I was rooting for Spino, and it would be AWESOME to see Spino fight a Tylosaurus!

I also remember seeing the first design a while back, and they all look so badass!!

I think the 3rd rings closest to the D-rex in the leaked trailer description, it does look a bit "chubby".

Lovely.... Since you guys can't seem stop fighting with each over these posts, I am going to have to ban them for awhile. I am dead serious too, any Spino vs Rex posts will be deleted on sight. You guys want to act like children then you will be treated like children.

Gman warned you guys to cut the crap, *AL* warned you guys to stop fighting, now I am stepping in. Seriously, I can't believe it's come to this, is it so hard to be civil with one another???

Locking this and don't bother PM'ing me, my decision is made.

SniperDinosaurs ForumDinosaur duels #7: Mapusaurus pack vs Tyrannosaurs pair

For the ones who say that mapu is too lightweight comparated to t.rex, count with the theory that mapusaurus might be a more fragmentary specimen of giganotosaurus.

What i've seen in planet dinosaur is that the paleontologists reconstructed mapusaurus by mixing the young, small ones with the old more fragmentary(almost as fragmentary as MuCpv-95) ones.and what's the problem with this?We have no idea how they changed during growing.I'd be curious how the combined reconstruction of the mapusaurus and giganotosaurus will look like.

Apparently it also works in Austria. Don't really know why, but I'm not going to ask why and just be happy about it.
