Tyrannosaurus Rex
The individual for these fights will be a nine ton male. He is the most feared predator on Nublar. Nothing he has ever faced has been the same since, mostly because all but two or three of his challengers have ever survived.
Daspletosaurus
The individual in these fights will be a five ton male. He has experience, he's strong, he's agile, and he's got stamina. The only fight he has ever backed down from was when a mated pair of Tyrannosaurs challenged him for a kill.
Begin!
The Tyrannosaurus was walking through a tall grass plain. The grass was up to his shoulders, and he was unfamiliar with the area. Being the most powerful predator on the island, he didn't think anything of walking out of his territory into this new area to explore since he could take any predator he wanted.
The Daspletosaurus is patrolling his territory. He was the owner of the plain, and he sensed the Tyrannosaurus. He knew that the Tyrannosaurus would be a hard threat to take on, but he knew he had a stealth advantage. He walked towards the Tyrannosaurus, ready to fight.
The Tyrannosaurus had a strange feeling he was being watched, and he looked around. Nothing was around. At least, nothing he could see. He grunted and continued walking. He felt the ground vibrating, and he turned just as the Daspletosaurus lunged at him.
The Daspletosaurus had to jump to bite the Tyrannosaurus's face, and the Tyrannosaurus jumped back. He growled in pain and looked for the attacker, but it was gone quicker than it appeared. He tried to sniff out the Daspletosaurus, and he turned to the source of the smell. The Daspletosaurus was charging again, but this time, the Tyrannosaurus lowered his head and lunged forward.
The Daspletosaurus was sent flying back, landing over twenty feet away and winded. The Tyrannosaurus walked toward his grounded opponent. After getting a clear look at his opponent, he went for the killing blow. The Daspletosaurus kicked the Tyrannosaurus before he could bite him, and he rolled over and stood up while the Tyrannosaur shook his head.
The Daspletosaurus took a clear look at his opponent. The Tyrannosaurus was a massive predator. The Daspletosaurus could see over the grass if he reared up to his full height, but the Tyrannosaur was head and shoulders taller than the grass without rearing up. The Tyrannosaur's teeth were huge, large enough to easily crush anything that was unfortunate enough to get in its jaws.
The Daspletosaurus charged before the Tyrannosaurus could regain his focus, and he bit the Tyrannosaurus's neck. The Tyrannosaurus roared in pain and turned in a half circle. The Daspletosaurus lost his grip and tripped. The Tyrannosaurus walked towards the Daspletosaurus, but it rolled out of the way before he could step on it. The Tyrannosaurus went for the Daspletosaurus's neck, but the Daspletosaurus was too quick and got out of the way.
Before the Tyrannosaurus could find the Daspletosaurus back, it attacked him from the side. The Tyrannosaurus tripped over his own feet in a sideways stumble, and he started bleeding internally. He fought through the pain and rolled over and stood up. The Daspletosaurus was charging, but stopped dead in his tracks as the Tyrannosaurus stood up. He couldn't believe what he just saw. He had never seen such a large predator get knocked down and get back up so quickly.
The Daspletosaurus roared at the Tyrannosaurus, and the Tyrannosaurus was thinking of leaving when he looked around. The grass was crushed down for enough space for him to see the Daspletosaurus where ever he was, and the Daspletosaurus was in plain view. He roared back, and the Daspletosaurus knew that he made a mistake bigger than his opponent as he looked around. The Tyrannosaurus flashed his teeth, and then charged. The Daspletosaurus didn't have time to move as the Tyrannosaurus hit him head on and knocked him to the ground.
The landing had knocked the Daspletosaurus unconscious, and the Tyrannosaurus was content with that. He left the area and went back to his territory. He knew what to do in a tall grass plain now. The Daspletosaurus woke up a few hours later, and the Tyrannosaurus was gone. He didn't know where it went, and he didn't care either.
Winner......... Tyrannosaurus Rex
Almost twice as heavy, stronger, and tougher, the Tyrannosaurus had a clear advantage once the Daspletosaurus didn't have the grass to hide in.

MemberTyrannosaurus RexJul-11-2014 5:54 AMThanks guys.
Forgot about that actually. What I usually do is take a one day break between rounds, so tomorrow is the Utahraptor's backstory. The round 2 kickstarter is Yutyrannus vs Carnotaurus.

MemberTriceratopsJul-11-2014 11:31 AMA well-written fight Mr Happy! I knew who would win this fight from the very beginning (and no, it wasn't because of which dino is your fave) :P
T-rex was too big, too strong, too...EVERYTHING! No chance a single Despletosaurus could have defeated THE KING!
But one thing that really stood out for me was the T-rex's mercy. He doesn't need to kill everything that challenges him, he knows NOTHING can beat him. He has a PRESENCE that no carnivore matches in your fight universe, and that is even scarier than anything else a T-rex has. You know to stay away, and even seeing this particular male is enough to cause your blood to freeze in fear and amazement!

MemberTyrannosaurus RexJul-11-2014 11:35 AMHis next fight is against Ceratosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus (three way), and it's a pretty good one.
