And I really wasn't talking about birds, I'm talking about dinosaurs. Those are two different things. They are similar, but dinosaurs are dinosaurs and birds are birds. Just like how Giganotosaurus evolved into Mapusaurus. It doesn't mean that Giganotosaurus is a Mapusaurus, it just means it evolved into one.

No, it's a lizard. But definitely a "living fossil." I see no reason why smaller dinosaurs could have survived after the extinction. Now, I have no idea about marine reptiles. I was gonna say they'd need to surface for air, but so do sea turtles and they survived. Unless all dinosaurs died instantly, unlikely, I'm sure raptors and other small dinosaurs survived for a few million years or so. Perhaps a handful of larger one's did as well, but it's more unlikely. After a little while, giant carnivorous dinosaurs reappeared in the form of Terror Birds. They may not have been non-avian dinosaurs like Tyrannosaurus or Triceratops, but they were deadliest avian-dinosaurs of all time. There have been reports of plesiosaur like animals swimming around lakes and oceans, so anythings possible some of the smaller dinosaurs as many have mentioned probably turned into birds like gallomimus and compsognathus to name a few, of course that's just based on scientific theory. They go to the island, a flock of Quetlequatlus attack the plane and kill one pilot. They land and a Yangchuanosaurus kills the other pilot and chases the main characters off. There are a lot of pliosaurs species. Kinda like Mosasaurus. Mosasaurus hoffami is the largest, but there are a fair amount of others.

Two pliosaurus species were 50+ feet. pliosaurus funkei (predator x) and pliosaurus macromerus. Both are estimated at 50-52 feet.

Its Lioplurodon. With an I. My favorite pliosaur is Pliosaurus (formally known as predator X) it was fifty feet long and was overall awesome. You have a good point rex fan, plesiosaurs probably did have freshwater cousins.

I accually see a lot of dromeaosaur in hacks and egales. Just look at microraptor. Its practically a bird. Also, there are some Dromeaosaurs that scientist don't know whether they are birds or dinosaurs, and those are the ones with wings and can fly.

Closer than Allosaurus, Triceratops, etc. But not directly, no.

I for one don't hate Spinosaurus, he has a cool look and is the biggest predator that ever lived which I find really cool, yes I was upset by the outcome of the fight scene in JP3 but I still liked it despite what many thought of it just as much as I liked the first 2, heck I even own a Spinosaurus action figure. All we do on here is state facts about the Dinosaurs, both had the their advantages and disadvantages, T-Rex was'nt the fastest, Spino was, T-Rex did'nt have have a long reach with his arms, Spino did, Spino ate mostly fish and smaller dinosaurs, T-Rex ate larger prey. Spino was the biggest but Rex was the most powerful. I'm just saying based on evidence. Heck, I'll bet if it were another big dinosaur Rex fought and lost to in the movie, other fans would be complaining about us hating it (though we're really not) as well.

Agreed. Look at the last pic. The male raptors have splashes of blue, while the females are more plain.

The non-avian dinosaurs closest to the avian-dinosaurs(birds) are the maniraptors. Dinosaurs like Troodon and Oviraptor are in this group and the dromaesaurs are closely related to the maniraptors. Tyrannosaurs belong to the coelurosaurs, like maniraptors and dromaesaurs, but were not as close to avian-dinosaurs as maniraptors and dromaesaurs. No specific dinosaur would evolve into a specific bird.

I'm sure they were colorful and had some sort of patterns to them but I wouldn't be surprised if some really did have drab colors as well.

Birds are birds. If one or two are dinosaurs, they all are. That's just how things work honestly. You can't say an anaconda is a snake, but a python isn't. Birds being dinosaurs makes total sense to me. Just look at the feet. Or the way they move. I could never see birds actually being dinosaurs, that's why I'm still a little hesitant on fully believing that even though there's plenty of fossil evidence to suggest that. I really don't want to give up eating chicken and turkey lol. Although according to some scientists only some species of dinosaurs evolved into birds (like the ostrich and emu) so there's still a chance maybe that not all of them are evolved dinosaurs.

Mosasaurus was part of a different family all together. The mosasaurs were actually related to modern day monitor lizards. Both pliosaurs and mosasaurs were large, marine reptiles, but not all that closely related.

Elasmosaurus is my favorite plesiosaur too being how it was one of the first ones I read about and also because I'm big into cryptids as well and believe it to be the famous loch ness monster. for pliosaurs, it's a tie between Leopluradon and Mosasurus for me.

I would have a large open area with huge cement walls around it to prevent the herbivores that roam free from entering the area, and it would be where the humongous reptile house, petting zoo, gift shop, information center, medical center and etc. are. There would be an area where you could watch the dangerous herbivores behind a fence. Compies and other dangerous little animals would be behind plexiglass in an enclosure. The spinosaurs would have fish stocked pools and waterfalls in their habitat, would be fed meat and fish in shows. Other carnivores, depending on preferences, would be fed meat and fish and would have paddocks best for to them, could hunt cows, goats, specially bred dinosaurs and live animals once a week Aquarium would be very sea world-esque in size and nature and have shows, have a multilevel viewing tank with animals like Shonisaurus, Mauisaurus, Livyatan, Megalodon, Tylosaurus, etc. Non dangerous herbivores would roam free outside the fences and guests could pay to be toured around them by park staff, driving jeeps Same prices as Mr Happy Gift shop would have spinosaur/crocodile scutes, teeth, claws, feathers, horns, stuffed dinosaurs, toys, coloring books, pet prehistoric fish, triops, whatever else gift shops have There will be submarine tours and underwater viewing domes, carnivore paddock tours in Deltadromeus' style, a museum, watch towers around carnivores, a night house for nocturnal dinosaurs (like Troodon, which would be watched 24/7 due to its high intelligence), carnival rides, etc. Basically it's like Disney world, sea world, a huge zoo and jurassic park all combined in one huge park.

I agree. Monster of Aramberri is around 50 ft and 40-50 tons and is a young animal. I see it being a juvenile Liopleurodon as well with adults being around 60-85 ft and weighing about 75-150 tons.

Mauisaurus is my favorite plesiosaur. It was freakin' huge. Monster of Aramberri is my favorite pliosaur, and I think that counts as Liopleurodon because that's where the WWD sized Lio came from. The known specimen is a juvenile with clear evidence of a death causes by a much larger animal.

I could not include every big toothed dinosaur. I'd consider Torvosaurus to have teeth comparable to Giganotosaurus or Carcharodontosaurus.
