Your Own Jurassic Park

What would you do if you were left in charge of making your own dinosaur park? I would give all the families of dinosaur their own section. Some of the lesser known ones would be first on the tour, and the further along the path you go, the more famous and popular they get. I would have the Dromeasaurs and Tyrannosaurs at the end. There would be a thing were all the non aggressive herbivores wander around an open valley, and for an additional fee, you could take a ride on a jeep or truck among them. The aggressive herbivores and carnivores would likely be kept behind a cement wall (no power, no problem), or REALLY thick plexiglass. With a cement wall, there would be a walkway so you could see them from above. With the creation of a Dinosaur Park, there will be people for, and against it. Against: Vegetarians (lots of meat required to feed carnivores), and possible animal rights people (carnivores like to hunt). For: The general public, people like us, and Politicians (tourists and taxes = $$$$). This park does not only cater to the rich. - John Hammod The prices include: Admission = $30 children 12 and under, $40 teens 13-17, $50 adults 18-64, $35 for seniors 65+ Rent-a-scooter = $30/scooter for seniors (only seniors get a scooter) Jeep/Truck ride = $5/person Food is vendors choice ($10 maximum) Witness feeding = $5/person herbivore, $10/person carnivore (viewer discretion is advised, and sign a waiver) Souvenirs = $1-15 Stuffed dinosaur = $7 Toy dinosaur = $10 T-Shirt = $10 plain, $15 with logo, $20 with all dinosaurs from a family Cargo pants = $15 plain any colour plain, $20 any colour camouflage Ball cap = $10 any colour and pattern Maybe the prices is a bit much, but the park needs to make money. Tour Truck Tour Jeep These are idea me and Rex Fan came up with on the discussion on his website.

That's cool. I would have it so people walk around the park like in operation genesis or zoo tycoon 2. There would be lots of unknown herbivores and carnivores and even a battle arena where we put two dinosaurs up against eachother. As for paddocks, I would have some herbivores seperate and some together. BY family of course. Then you will have a huge area just for sauropods. It will be fenced off by large trees that are to close for sauropods to get through. Saving fences. There would also be large herbivores in there too. Shantungosaurus and the other huge hadrosaur for example. Even Edmontosaurus would be there. You take a jeep tour throgh that large paddock. The area for large carnivores will be dug down so the floor is twenty feet below the area where people walk to the fence to see. There is also an underground viewing area under the fence with very thick plexiglass so people can see the carnivores at ground level. There is also a 12 foot tall electric fence but the lower parts of it is just very thick glass and plexiglass, not to mention hard and clear plastic, a combination that can stop many bullets. And it would be several feet thick. For the Dromeaosaurs, I would have the same as the large carnivores, but the top would be a large glass plexiglass exetera exetera dome.and a cablecar wire would be strung across the top so a glass door opens as the car gets close, and closes as it passes. This goes the same for some Ceratosaurs. And there will be hotels and resteraunts and other nessecitys like gift shops to have there. It would also have amusement rides. iCloud go on into more detail but I think I'll stop here.

well... most of you should remember Isla de coco, site a my theoretical jurassic park (until i get my degrees... then by god world... you will see dinosaurs... but thats a few years from now so its going to stay in my head... for now...) Anyways, if you don't isla de coco is a real island of costa rica's coast Its kinda a bowl shape, which helps to conceal the creatures until the parks ready, It has 1 dock, (the maintenance side of it is hidden off behind bushes) all the herbivores are in 1 paddock/pasture, and all the carnivores are in separate HIGH security paddocks, we have 3 ranger stations, all over the island, they're all equipped with dispatch helicopters and apaches (armed with tranquilizers and bullets/missiles) they all have 2 dispatch vehicles and have a team of 40 strong, theres also park security a water world exhibit thing, a large visitor center and a military display of an aircraft carrier, which was renamed USS jurassic, it doubles as a security force and an actual war ship then tends to dock at the island... I used to have maps and charts of the island... but Im not too sure where they went...

Life cannot be contained, it breaks walls, crashes through barriers sometimes painfully, but uh... Life uh, finds a way

Forgot to mention that guests could walk around the park, or take a tour vehicle.

I also forgot to say, there is a tour going through the cage of the large carnivores, but it is surrounded by a half dome ten feet tall made of three foot glass and plexiglass. The roundness will make sure that T. rex can't bite down on it.

Basic security is a must. Cameras, shelters, etc. Plus rangers, heavy artillery, etc. Moats would be a good idea too. Motion sensors would be a good way to know where dinosaurs are and when.

I would have a large open area with huge cement walls around it to prevent the herbivores that roam free from entering the area, and it would be where the humongous reptile house, petting zoo, gift shop, information center, medical center and etc. are. There would be an area where you could watch the dangerous herbivores behind a fence. Compies and other dangerous little animals would be behind plexiglass in an enclosure. The spinosaurs would have fish stocked pools and waterfalls in their habitat, would be fed meat and fish in shows. Other carnivores, depending on preferences, would be fed meat and fish and would have paddocks best for to them, could hunt cows, goats, specially bred dinosaurs and live animals once a week Aquarium would be very sea world-esque in size and nature and have shows, have a multilevel viewing tank with animals like Shonisaurus, Mauisaurus, Livyatan, Megalodon, Tylosaurus, etc. Non dangerous herbivores would roam free outside the fences and guests could pay to be toured around them by park staff, driving jeeps Same prices as Mr Happy Gift shop would have spinosaur/crocodile scutes, teeth, claws, feathers, horns, stuffed dinosaurs, toys, coloring books, pet prehistoric fish, triops, whatever else gift shops have There will be submarine tours and underwater viewing domes, carnivore paddock tours in Deltadromeus' style, a museum, watch towers around carnivores, a night house for nocturnal dinosaurs (like Troodon, which would be watched 24/7 due to its high intelligence), carnival rides, etc. Basically it's like Disney world, sea world, a huge zoo and jurassic park all combined in one huge park.

Very nice. Species I would have include... Tyrannosaurus Daspletosaurus Albertosaurus Spinosaurus Suchomimus Baryonyx Carnotaurus Ceratosaurus Velociraptor Compies Microraptors Allosaurus Gallimimus Ornithomimus Therizinosaurus Camarasaurus Alamosaurus Triceratops Torosaurus Stegosaurus Ankylosaurus Dryosaurus Pachycephelosaurus I don't want the biggest sauropods like Argentinosaurus and Brachiosaurus because, well, can you imagine the clean up involved? Non-Dinosaurs Ornithocheirus Pteranodon Liopleurodon Ichthyosaurus Shonisaurus Elasmosaurus Plesiosaurus
