Lord VaderDinosaurs ForumTeams- What Defines Them?Sep 27, 2013
True. My brother recently saw JP 3 for the first time, and I had to explain to him that it was fake. I heard about Spinosaurus on my first visit to the school library in Kindergarden. I had been Super Mario 64 since I was 3, and my dad told be that Bowser was a dinosaur, and boom, I love dinosaurs.

I knew about Spinosaurus before JPIII too. I just thought it was a large theropod with a sail and long jaws. Didn't think much of it until JPIII. I'll admit, I when I started thinking more about it, I wasn't thinking good things. I actually didn't watch JPIII much simply because Spino was in it for a while. Then, I grew to like the real animal more, but frankly, I still dislike the Hollywood version simply because, in my opinion, it was so inaccurate.

Same here Rex Fan, I had first heard about Spinosaurus when I was 4. Saw the fight when I was 8, and didn't watch JP 3 for a while, think I actually watched it a second time when I bought the box set on blu-Ray this June.

Of course I will include them as well as the Paludititan.

Course you need plant-eaters too. Like Magyarosaurus, Rhabdodon, and Telmatosaurus.

I've done my research on the Hateg Island. I am obsessed with Bradycneme.
ReplyDeltadromeusJurassic World ForumJurassic Park 4 should be moved to 2015. Do you guys agree? Sep 27, 2013
Well to bad, it is now going to be released on June 12 2015

It`s like you read my mind, because I already thought to add it in the story ;)
ReplyDeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumWhy Spinosaurus WinsSep 27, 2013
Exactly! Say a T. rex was about to kill the Spinosaurus when all of a sudden a bolt of lightning hits him. Then Spino gets a pretty easy win.
ReplyDeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumFinal DinoFights Bonus Fight(From Me)Sep 27, 2013
And I would like to see an Eloptryx in it too. That makes another dinosaur to add.

With Tarascosaurus in the background ;)
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumWhy Spinosaurus WinsSep 27, 2013
Yeah. Say the T-rex is a huge female defending her eggs. T-rex wins. Say it's an adult Spino fighting a T-rex near a river. Spino wins. Etc.
ReplyDeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumWhy Spinosaurus WinsSep 27, 2013
Like I said rex fan, if they are fighting in an absolutely huge blank whe room, it is pretty even. Fighting in the wild with tons of variables, then there is no way to tell who wins more. It is physically impossible.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumTeams- What Defines Them?Sep 27, 2013
This could all have been avoided if they simply introduced Spinosaurus in a different way. The movie was going so well, I was really enjoying it, until the fight scene. My jaw dropped, but not in a good way. That's, where it all started ;)
ReplyDinoSteve93Dinosaurs ForumFinal DinoFights Bonus Fight(From Me)Sep 27, 2013
Right. It`ll be the main villain.
ReplyDeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumTeams- What Defines Them?Sep 27, 2013
Or brought on an age of respect for Spinosaurus. (And comepletly destroyed Giganotosaurus's reputation ):
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumWhy Spinosaurus WinsSep 27, 2013
Of course one would win. But it's so hard to say who would win more times.

Balaur, cool. That tells me that Bradycneme will be in it.
ReplyDinoSteve93Dinosaurs ForumFinal DinoFights Bonus Fight(From Me)Sep 27, 2013
Well, it`s about the rise to the power of a Balaur. I`ll post more informations tomorrow or maybe the day after tomorrow.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumFinal DinoFights Bonus Fight(From Me)Sep 27, 2013
Yeah, fights are much easier than stories. Stories need plot, character development, etc.
ReplyDeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumWhy Spinosaurus WinsSep 27, 2013
Personally,I think they would both be able to beat eachother. And the odds are even, alone at least. Incorporate outside distractions, and its another story.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumWhy Spinosaurus WinsSep 27, 2013
Alamosaurus, the only sauropod from late Cretaceous was a titanosaur.
T-rex's arms were about 3 ft long and could lift about 450 lbs. Now, it's claws were only about 3 inches long. Spino had arms in the 5 ft range and claws well over 1.5 ft in length.
Both were titanic killers with their own strengths and weaknesses. It's nearly impossible to say which would win.

What's is about? (Unfortunately Dinosteve, stories don't like people, and don't write themself. Trust me, I have first hand experience)
ReplyDinoSteve93Dinosaurs ForumFinal DinoFights Bonus Fight(From Me)Sep 27, 2013
Maybe this will happen with my upcoming story too!
ReplyDeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumTeams- What Defines Them?Sep 27, 2013
Its impossible to avoid a Spino vs Rex discussion. Just like all roads lead to Rome, all posts including Spinosaurus or T. rex leads to a fight about who would win. That is a classic saying, don't argue.
ReplyDeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumFinal DinoFights Bonus Fight(From Me)Sep 27, 2013
I have to agree with you on that Rex Fan, the fights write themself. Also, great picture DinoSteve.

Thanks man. Thanks again for the pic :)
ReplyDeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumWhy Spinosaurus WinsSep 27, 2013
Okay dude, get your facts strait.
1: Spinosaurus had HUGE arms, probably at least 6 feet long, while T. rex had 3 foot long arms that where super strong and could probably lift up to 450lbs.
2: there is only one sauropod that we know of from late Cretaceous North America, and it didn't have armor. It wasn't a Titanosaur (I might be wrong though, I haven't checked my sauropods in a while)
3: T. rex probably didn't have the strongest bite. That would belong to Sarcosuchus, Deinosuchus, Megalodon, or maybe Prussasaurus. One of those animals probably had the strongest bite.
4: compare a Spinosaurus bite to a regular Crocodile, and it would be at least 2 tons at the minimum (if crocodiles and Spinosaurs have a similar jaw structure and bite). Crocodiles have stronger bites as they get larger, and the largest croc today, the Saltwater Crocodile, has a bite force of 2 tons, and its only around 20 feet long. Being a bit conseritive, a bite foce for Spinosaurus would be around 4 tons.
5: Spinosaurus was probably around as heavy as a T. rex. Now, this is debatable, but I have good reason. Once again, I refer to a 60 foot Ornithomimid being around x tons (I really can't remember everything, but the X I think is around 6-7 tons, and that is how heavy I would consider an Ornithomimid that long) and, because Spinosaurus is a lot thicker than an Ornithomimid, it would be a lot heavier, at least 9 tons.
ReplyDinoSteve93Dinosaurs ForumFinal DinoFights Bonus Fight(From Me)Sep 27, 2013
True. Endings are very important. And yours is just good and original ;)
ReplyDinoSteve93Dinosaurs ForumFinal DinoFights Bonus Fight(From Me)Sep 27, 2013
Nice fight. I was expecting Aucasaurus winning. Interesting the color-changing feathers onthe Concavenator. ;)
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumFinal DinoFights Bonus Fight(From Me)Sep 27, 2013
Honestly, I was gonna have Concavenator win, but the fight writes itself. As I was typing, it started gravitating towards Aucasaurus winning.
Glad you liked it. I've been told I write good endings. Oh, and glad you liked the feathers. I thought it would add a nice touch.
ReplyDeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumFinal DinoFights Bonus Fight(From Me)Sep 27, 2013
Great fight. I thought Acasasaurus was smaller, but still really good. I also like the ending, that makes this fight just that bit better.
ReplyDeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumCarcharodontosaurus neotype vs Mapusaurus (adult specimens)Sep 27, 2013
I'd say Carch. I mean, 9 tons, that seems a bit crazy though. That's a 50 foot Giganotosaurus weight, so for a 46 foot Carcharodontosaurus, I think that it is crazy.
ReplyDinoSteve93Dinosaurs ForumTeams- What Defines Them?Sep 27, 2013
Haha, I guess they always end with this.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumTeams- What Defines Them?Sep 27, 2013
Yes, but we don't need to bring up fights between the two and say one will wipe the floor with the other.
ReplyDinoSteve93Dinosaurs ForumTeams- What Defines Them?Sep 27, 2013
I don`t think this is a rex vs spino debate. Just a discussion about teams ;)
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumCarcharodontosaurus neotype vs Mapusaurus (adult specimens)Sep 27, 2013
Spyrannosaurus, can we not say something's a myth? Just because it's something you and maybe a few other people don't agree with, doesn't mean it's a myth. It just means it's a different theory.
I think Mapusaurus would have a good chance at winning because it's a more advanced carcharodontosaur. Carcharodontosaurus might be a little bigger, but it was not quite as smart and such. It'd be close.
ReplyDinoSteve93Dinosaurs ForumCarcharodontosaurus neotype vs Mapusaurus (adult specimens)Sep 27, 2013
It would be a really close fight. I think maybe Mapusaurus would win most of the time.
