Concavenator vs Aucasaurus
(Sizes based on my estimates)
Concavenator- Humpbacked Hunter From Cuenca

Nickname- Humpback Hunter
Size-
20-25 ft long, 8-10 ft tall, and 1-2 tons
Speed-
20-30 miles per hour
Weapons-
Large teeth, hand claws, speed, and agility.
Primary Weakness-
Somewhat poor eyesight
Extra Details-
Concavenator is perhaps one of the strangest looking dinosaurs yet found. It was found to have feathers on it’s arms and a strange, sail-like, hump right above it’s hips. Despite it’s strange appearance, Concavenator lived up to it’s name and was a fearsome hunter. It’s sharp teeth and claws could make short work of prey. Concavenator was certainly a looks can be deceiving kind of dinosaur.
Aucasaurus- Auca lizard

Nickname- Bulldog
Size-
16-20 ft long, 7-8 ft tall, and .5-1 ton
Speed-
20-25 miles per hour
Weapons-
Sharp teeth, strong bite, speed, and armor.
Primary Weakness-
Short Arms
Extra Details-
Aucasaurus is somewhat poorly known outside the paleontology world. This does not mean it was not a fearsome predator. Aucasaurus lived alongside many giant predators like Giganotosaurus, Mapusaurus, Tyrannotitan, and many others. This mid-sized predator had to be tough. Like many other abelisaurs, Aucasaurus had a short skull. It probably had a strong bite for it’s size. Aucasaurus was definitely a mid-sized menace.

It’s early morning on Isla Nublar. A lone Aucasaurus is feeding on the carcass of a juvenile Saltasaurus it brought down. Normally, this Aucasaurus would be with a pack. But he just reached sexual maturity and was kicked out by the alpha male, aka, his father. Before he started looking for a potential mate, he decided to go hunting. The smell of blood begins to drift downwind and right into the path of an adult Concavenator. The Concavenator has not eaten anything for a while and wants to investigate. As he approaches, the Aucasaurus lifts his head up to see the incoming dinosaur. He immediately gets defensive and flashes his bright red throat colors. The feathers on the Concavenator’s arms begin to change color, a sign of aggression. The two carnivores begin to circle each other. The Concavenator is somewhat bigger than the Aucasaurus, but the Aucasaurus is more powerfully built. The agile Concavenator charges in and leaps to the side at the last minute. The less agile Aucasaurus can’t turn in time and receives a deep gash in his shoulder courtesy of the Concavenator’s claws. The Aucasaurus lunges at the Concavenator and his jaws snap shut on the end of the carcharodontosaur’s tail. The Concavenator can’t turn around enough to attack the Aucasaurus. The abelisaur uses his powerful jaws and neck muscles to rip of the end of the Concavenator’s tail. The carcharodontosaur roars in pain. He charges the Aucasaurus, but the abelisaur is ready. He meets that charge, and despite being smaller, does not fall over due to his powerful frame and build. The Aucasaurus headbutts the Concavenator in the flank and breaks a few of his ribs. The carcharodontosaur turns on the abelisaur and slashes the side of his neck with his teeth. The abelisaur then swings his head and smacks the Concavenator in the face. The Concavenator stumbles backwards. The Aucasaurus uses his bulk and shoves the carcharodontosaur into the ground. As he is about to bite down on the throat of the Concavenator, the Concavenator kicks out with his legs and catches the abelisaur in the lower jaw with his toe claws. The Aucasaurus stumbles back and the Concavenator manages to get up. He then launches his own attack on the Aucasaurus. He runs forward and leaps on the back of the abelisaur. The Aucasaurus can barely stand with the added weight, but his powerful legs keep him from falling. The Concavenator slashes the back and neck of the Aucasaurus with his teeth and claws. The injuries don’t do much though due to the abelisaur’s armor. With a powerful leap, the Aucasaurus suddenly jumps up and throws the Concavenator off. The carcharodontosaur stumbles back and hits a tree. The Aucasaurus charges, but the Concavenator gets out of the way. The Aucasaurus slams into a tree and gets a splitting headache. The Concavenator takes advantage of the situation and slashes the thigh of the Aucasaurus. The abelisaur performs a counterattack and swings his tail. He slams his tail into the face of the Concavenator. The carcharodontosaur is momentarily disoriented and the Aucasaurus takes action. He lunges forward and bites down on the sail-like hump on the Concavenator. With a powerful yank, he breaks off a section of the sail. The Concavenator roars in pain and turns. He manages to slash the Aucasaurus in the face with his hand claws, but the Aucasaurus bites down on the Concavenator’s arm. Feathers fly and bones break. The Concavenator slashes and bites the Aucasaurus using both his teeth and claws. Eventually, the Aucasaurus lets go. The Concavenator’s arm has been reduced to a mangled and broken mess. Blood is pouring from both carnivores and they can sense this fight will be over soon. In a last ditch effort, the Concavenator charges the Aucasaurus and lunges for his throat. But the Aucasaurus brings his head down and his jaws snap shut on the Concavenator’s neck. The Concavenator struggles in the jaws of the Aucasaurus, but it’s no use. With a powerful twist of his neck. the Aucasaurus breaks the Concavenator’s neck. He drops his rival and roars in victory. He turns and begins to feed on the Saltasaurus again. As he feeds, a female Aucasaurus that heard his roar approaches. The male looks up and realizes he just found his mate.
Winner- Aucasaurus

Although somewhat smaller than Concavenator, Aucasaurus was stronger and had a stockier build. It was more stable than it's more agile rival. Aucasaurus, like all abelisaurs, was also armored. These traits combined with a powerful bite made Aucasaurus a deadly predator and, in this case, the victor.
