Well, I tried. It looks horrible. Mostly because I made the sausages too short. Oh well, Spinosaurus, you will have to wait. Sigilmassasaurus, I'm coming for you.

I always thought that Rexy threw the car to the other side of the tour road. Also, how did Ellie and Muldon get up and down so easily?
Replyx_paden_xJurassic Park ForumJurassic park mysteriesOct 17, 2013
correction the guys on the boat were eaten by dactyls, Its too far off shore for the spino to have done it, must have either been some dactyls from site a or b... only plausible explanation... cept paragliding raptors could work too...
also, Its kinda tough with the paddock scene, mainly because theres a lot of theroies and ideas-- in the original book, the car was thrown into a tree on the tour road, but THERE WAS ALSO A MOAT, which may have been put into play here...
or it is the other side of the tour road?...
whatever...

Totally agree Rex Fan. How could Rexy be so old if the park itself is like 5 years old. People don't uderstand that if they cloned dinosaurs, the surely could speed their grow-rate.

Yes, my home state. The Academy of Sciences in Philidelphia is also very nice(although I haven't been to it). I want to go there soon. Maybe next summer.

I know what you mean.
What I want to know is, why do so many people think Rexy is old? Just because she's 46 ft long, does not mean she's old. Keep in mind this is the same movie that has man-sized Velociraptors and Pteranodons with teeth and the capability to pick up an adult human. If they wanted a larger than average Rex, then they were gonna have it. Doesn't mean Rexy was necessarily old.

@DinoSteve -- haha yeah, this was the perfect picture
@Delta -- Spoiler...... a green raptor will make an appearance in a few chapters.....
@Rex Fan -- Yeah, I saw the picture and was like "hey that's exactly how I picture Stoni and it's the same as Rex Fan's website!" ;)

I also have an idea how to bring him on:
Timmy could be the protector for the boys, like Grant was for the children in the first book. He'd know exactly what fears the boys would have being chased by dinosaurs. As long as they don't make the story too similar, it would be a nice hommage to the first movie.
ReplysurprizedJurassic World ForumTriceratopsOct 16, 2013
I'd love to see a powerful Triceratops, besides the short scene in the Lost World we never saw a Trike in action. It mustn't necessarily be against a Rex (though it would be awesome), but I'd love to get the wow-effect by a herbivore.
ReplysurprizedJurassic World ForumDilophosaurusOct 16, 2013
Agree. Raptors and Rex should be main, Dilo and new one second, but with enough screentime (like Pteranodon in JP3 or Compy in JP2)

ReplyDeltadromeusJurassic Park ForumJurassic park mysteriesOct 16, 2013
1: the guy is eaten by a Spinosaurus or worse, paragliding raptors in the mist!
2: the T. rex is a mountain climbing ninja T. rex. (I always though that the car was pushed off the other side of the thing)
3: people make mistakes.
And all of those are real problems with jurassic park and the franchise, your not just seeing things.

I hope to. PA stays for Pennsylvania, right?
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumThe Most Beautiful FossilsOct 16, 2013
I'm sure you'll get your chance. I highly recommend the Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburgh, PA.
ReplyDinoSteve93Dinosaurs ForumThe Most Beautiful FossilsOct 16, 2013
I visited only italian museums so far. And they're pretty small, not comparable to american or brittish museums. Wish one day I can visit one of the museums listed above :)
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumThe Most Beautiful FossilsOct 16, 2013
The AMNH is the biggest in the world. I'm pretty sure the Smithsonian comes out ahead of the Tyrell as well. Now, the Tyrell is up there(certainly in the top 10), as is the Carnegie. The Natural History Museum in London and the Chicago Field Museum are probably high on the list as well.

Good pointed Rex Fan. I think I want to see in JW: Rex, Raptors, New one and Dilo.
ReplyRex Fan 684Jurassic World ForumDilophosaurusOct 16, 2013
Personally, I love Ceratosaurus and would love to see it in Jurassic World. Now, I'd still like to see Dilo, but if we could have both, that'd be great.
That said, I don't want predator overload...
T-rex
Raptor
New One
Dilo
Cerato
Spino
Etc
Too many. 3-4 species would be good.

I agree with you Rex Fan, of course, I still believe that Dilo was poisonous. Its my own theory, and you said most (then an if not all, but I'm just going to go over it) and I bet that at least one other person believes like I do.
ReplyRex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumDilophosaurus, Hunter or Scavenger?Oct 16, 2013
Just because it's crests are hollow, does not mean they are poison glands. No official article, statement, or video/show has ever mentioned this. Most, if not all, scientists say Dilophosaurus was not poisonous. Now, that said, I still think it was primarily a hunter. Many of the plant eaters, like Anchisaurus for example, were less than half Dilo's size. Even with somewhat weak jaws, this would be an easy kill. It's teeth were very blade like and it had sharp claws. It was also pretty fast. It would have scavenged if it had the chance though. Why wouldn't it? It's food that doesn't fight back.
Hunter- 60-70 percent of the time
Scavenger- 30-40 percent of the time

I think the most accurate depiction of Dilophosaurus was in When Dinosaurs Roamed America.
ReplyDeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumCharacters of Stoni's JourneyOct 16, 2013

ReplyDeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumDilophosaurus, Hunter or Scavenger?Oct 16, 2013
Spino bro, technically we have found poison glands in Dilophosaurus. The hollow crests. I made a discussion about this theory, and I'll post the link Please push this, I went through a lot of trouble to find the link

ReplyDinosaur.FanaticJurassic World ForumDilophosaurusOct 16, 2013
YES! Dilophosaurus NEEDS to appear in Jurassic World. No lame Ceratosaurus cameos. It should play a significant role in the movie.
ReplyDinosaur.FanaticDinosaurs ForumDilophosaurus, Hunter or Scavenger?Oct 16, 2013
Dilophosaurus was primarily a hunter. Not counting venom, it had speed and size (relative to herbivores in its time) on its side. Its jaws were small compared, perhaps, to Tyrannosaurus, but they were certainly not weak. Just because and animal's mouth is not built for charging and bone-crushing like Rex doesn't mean its jaws are weak. If you are of the opinion that Dilophosaurus shot venom, this is even more evidence to suggest it was a hunter.
No carnivore would turn down a meal if it was provided, and, that said, I'm sure Dilophosaurus scavenged.... just not primarily.
ReplyDinoSteve93Dinosaurs ForumDilophosaurus, Hunter or Scavenger?Oct 16, 2013
I think it was an opportunistic animal. Like wolves. It hunted when it had what to hunt, and scavenged when it needed to.
ReplyDinoSteve93Jurassic World ForumDilophosaurusOct 16, 2013
Hope it will appear. Maybe as full-grown Dilophosaurus.
ReplyThe forgotten kingDinosaurs ForumDilophosaurus, Hunter or Scavenger?Oct 16, 2013

ReplyDeltadromeusDinosaurs ForumDilophosaurus, Hunter or Scavenger?Oct 16, 2013
I think Dilo was a 70-30 hunter-scavenger. It hunted by poison, but when it ran out, or had the opportunity, scavenged. (The poisonous Dilo is my theory)

I was in Italy a year ago or so-- and i was disappointed by the size of their museums (course i was expecting like tyrell sized museums so go figure) HOWEVER they did make up for it in unique specimens not from north america...
And Yes i do believe it is either the biggest in the world or one of the biggest... Which is nice, when they have the money they change it up a lot... which is also nice because i only go there every few years...
One day... My dream job is to be a palaeontologist gathering fossils for the tyrell
