Here's the second part of the first lesson, teaching you how to draw spinosaurs heads. Those steps are basically very similary to those of T-rex, only the shape of the skull changing a little. So, I hope you'll enjoy the tutorial and learn how to draw spinosaurs heads. Step 1: Draw two sausages on your paper. Step 2: Now outline the upper jaw. Please respect proportions and let yourself helped by the indicator lines I drawed. Step 3: Now draw the crest as showed. Step 4: Make the upper jaw's teeth. Note their conical shape, and also it's important you make them perpendicular to the jaw line. Step 5: Draw the lower jaw. Again, respect proportions. Step 6: Now draw the lower jaw's teeth and the portion of flesh between jaws. Step 7: Enter drawing the tongue, the nostril and some more detail as showed in the picture. Step 8: Make the eye and its wrinkles. I've drawn here a snake-like pupil, but you can choose a bird-like pupil as well. I just thought it's scarier. Step 9: Draw the neck, respecting proportions her too. Step 10: Make some futher details, as showed here. Step 11: Delete all sketch lines. Now it's almost done. Step 12: Now, finally shade it as showed. That's the final result. Hope you like it! So, let me know below if your drawing came out right, and if not, I can give you further advices and share with you essential thechniques. Next tutorial will be posted the day after tomorrow. In that tutorial you will learn how to draw sauropods heads. See you in the next part! DinoSteve93

Well, I tried. It looks horrible. Mostly because I made the sausages too short. Oh well, Spinosaurus, you will have to wait. Sigilmassasaurus, I'm coming for you.

Well, it isn't that horrible, it's surely a start. Spino is also a little harder to draw due it's thin snout. But next time will be better, I'm sure. ;)

I think I'll draw a different Spinosaur so I use my own thoughts of what it looks like. But I would use your technique. Maybe I would use a bit of both drawings, and combine it with the style used for a Dilo.

Yeah, that's a good idea. Can't wait to see how it turns out!

Hmmm... now I think of, don't you find quite funny that these drawings start actually from food?! The T-rex from an egg, the Spino from two sausages, and maybe the Trike starts off from a beaf-steak, haha!

Yeah, edmontosaurus has a pretty bacon-like head, haha. No more duck-billed dinosaurs, but bacon-rashers dinosaurs: the hadrosaurs!

It s already much better, it being a spinosaur. Nice drawing! Its nose resembles that of an alligator.

Well done(DinoSteve and Delta). I would have my drawings up on Devian Art by now, but my printer/scanner is acting up. Guess it'll have to wait.

Ahh... that's why I can't see any deviation on your page. I initially thought my laptop had a problem running the site, haha

I found a way around it. It's not the greatest solution, but it works.
