ohh yes you are right but based on mor 980 proportions mor 008 would measure around 12.5 m long still very LONG. anyway i hope you like my theory overall :)
ReplyGigadinoDinosaurs Forumc rex and f rex mystery ..... solved for good!!!Oct 25, 2013
MOR008 have a skull "only" 1,34 m long. Look:
https://1kvzgw.bn1.livefilestore.com/y1pZuAhVuYWYM2YxliLrpNUW9mZWHvG39B2LchKtp8ooOVdbeTd6INTZDpNXTmIxyCzo2M1Jv8Jf898xZ_haCA0DnkprnydhGRg/mor008.gif
The original and wrong recostruction is too long. Ther eal skull is shorter.

And intelligence. Yeah, overall, you came out with a better name MrHappy.
ReplyLord VaderDinosaurs ForumUltimate PredatorOct 25, 2013
DinoSteve, I came up with that idea a long time ago. I called Spyrannoraptor, said it would be 70 feet long, 30 feet tall, be 20 tons, have a Spinosaurus's sail and arms, Rex's basic build, huge bite force (never worked that out, 20 ton minimum), and a Velociraptors speed and agility.
ReplyJurassicFanaticDinosaurs ForumUltimate PredatorOct 25, 2013
Yeah, it'd be this giant blob running all over the place!
ReplyJurassicFanaticDinosaurs Forumdinosaur speeds revisedOct 25, 2013
It's kind of strange. A 4 ton dino running at 57 mph. I guess that if it was pretty tall, then it would have longer legs and therefore run faster.
ReplyDinoSteve93Dinosaurs ForumUltimate PredatorOct 25, 2013
Haha, it would be something... hybrids are just cool...
ReplyJurassicFanaticDinosaurs ForumUltimate PredatorOct 25, 2013
Thanks, I didn't think of that. What about Triceratops, Dilophosaurus (Jurassic Park version), Spino, T-Rex, and Ankylosaurus! Giant, Three-horned, poisonous freak of nature!
ReplyDinoSteve93Dinosaurs Forumdinosaur speeds revisedOct 25, 2013
Interesting... I still don't really think they were a lot faster than we think, but, who knows?
ReplyDinoSteve93Dinosaurs ForumUltimate PredatorOct 25, 2013
Hmmm... have I ever told you about that force of nature, called Spinoraptorannus? It is a giant dinosaur that has DNA combined from Spinosaurus, Velociraptor and Tyrannosaurus. It woul be certainly more unstoppable than the unstoppable unstoppability of unstoppabless.
But, if you said it must be a reasonable dino... I think Rex and Spino coul team up for a pretty good killing machine...

My Favs:
Scene: When, in number 3, the raptor blinks at the lady and she goes WTH!
Dino: The backround raptor in the hotel (number 3)
Human: Timmy. Because how brave are you to freakin' run straight at a raptor (or maybe just plain stupid)

Utahraptor is the biggest and baddest of all known raptors (dromaeosaurs), but we sill have no evidence that it got more than 20 ft long; if that. I should know; I named it. We are digging a family group (pack) buried in "quicksand" right now that says a lot about its life and behavior. Anyone have a skycrane we can borrow? http://www.ksl.com/?nid=148&sid=25546101

Dilophosauruswas certainly a part time fish eater.
