most of us know trex a large predator perfect senses could run 25 miles etc. well it turns out that dinosaur caudrofemralis muscles can and will help the animal's speed according to this paper published in 2011 Your text to link here... it says that tyrannosaurus speed was underestimated by as much as 25-45% !!!! which would put the 25 % estimate at 31.25 miles and the 45% estimate at 37 miles !!!!!!!!! and guess what the other animal was, it was triceratops and was estimated at a top speed of 25 miles! as fast as a rhino.
the other was deinonychus which was estimated at 53 miles!!!! based on the estimations i have studied ceratosaur anatomy and estimated the bahariasaurus's speed at a whopping 52-57 miles per hour for a 4 ton animal and 62 miles for the 2 ton individual (not big of a change because the muscle size difference
this proves that dinosaurs were much faster than we expected meaning that if they survived to modern times they could outrun the fastest human on earth in their sleep!!!!!!hope you like it!
Interesting love to see the guy get chased by Deinonychus.

Interesting. I might up my top speed for dinosaurs a little, but not too much. Don't want to get carried away because of one article, but I'll certainly consider it.
T-rex- Was 15-25 mph/ Now 20-30 mph
Triceratops-Was 15-20 mph/ Now 20-25 mph
Deinonychus- Was 35-45 mph/ Now 45-55 mph
Bahariasaurus- Was 25-35 mph/ Now 30-40 mph
And just for good measure
Gallimimus- Was 50-65 mph/ Now 60-75 mph
Albertosaurus- Was 30-35 mph/ Now 35-40 mph
Deltadromeus- Was 30-35 mph/ Now 35-40 mph
