MemberCompsognathusOct-25-2013 11:38 AMWow, that's cool. I didn't think that they where Tyrannosaurus rex. They did have a sudo Carcharodontosaur skull, not a T. rex skull. I classify T x as a different species, but I wonder, wasn't t x lighter than T. rex? If so, than C rex and F rex would only be about as heavy, even though 5 feet longer.

MemberCompsognathusOct-25-2013 11:43 AMIs there a link or links or pictures or something that you could give us to prove it. I believe things pretty easily, but I know that other people don't. Is there something you could show us to back up what you said or something? Maybe even a picture of C Rex's tooth would be nice.

MemberCompsognathusOct-25-2013 11:43 AMCool, that proves Rex Fan's and my theory. I just thought from the beginning they were T-rexes. Sincerelly I couldn't see the carcharodontosaurid features in their skull :P

MemberCompsognathusOct-25-2013 11:49 AMWell, I could. The skull wasn't as sloped as it normally is. Not as much as a Carcharodontosaurs, but more than your average Tyrannosaurus rex.

MemberCompsognathusOct-25-2013 12:00 PMwell delta the amount of individual variation in tyrannosaurs is immense for example wrankel rex has extremely small eye balls and arms etc. but you can't consider it another genus or what if it had just been distorted?

MemberCompsognathusOct-25-2013 12:11 PMHaha, he will be surelly very happy to hear that!
PS- (Rex Fan, our theory gets proofs, slowly, but it gets, haha ;) )

MemberCompsognathusOct-25-2013 12:19 PMYes, it is clearly too thick to be a carcharodontosaurid tooth.

MemberCompsognathusOct-25-2013 1:58 PMMOR008 isn't that big his skull it's "just" 1,34 m. Still a big beast though but still smaller than "Sue".

Dynamosaurus Imperiosus/ Raptorexxx 700
MemberCompsognathusOct-25-2013 2:03 PMno his skull is actually 150 cm long compared to sue 144 cm according to this paper Your text to link here...

MemberCompsognathusOct-25-2013 5:01 PMMOR008 have a skull "only" 1,34 m long. Look:

The original and wrong recostruction is too long. Ther eal skull is shorter.

MemberCompsognathusOct-25-2013 5:10 PMohh yes you are right but based on mor 980 proportions mor 008 would measure around 12.5 m long still very LONG. anyway i hope you like my theory overall :)

MemberCompsognathusOct-25-2013 10:51 PMI KNEW THEY WEREN'T CARCHARODONTOSAURS! They could be "Tyrannosaurus X", or they could just be T-rex with slight variations in the skull design. That tooth is without a doubt tyrannosaurid. If T-X is longer, but lighter than T-rex, I'd say a 45-50 ft T-X would weigh roughly 7-8.5 tons, while a T-rex at that length would weight 9-12 tons or so. Great job Raptorexxx :)
