Yangchuanosaurus. I think Yangchu could have a shot. Take a look at this map, the legend says the dinosaur at the southern most part of the island is Metriacanthosaurus, but I remember hearing (on these forums) that it was corrected in '01 (somewhere around there). Who says they need to mate? Why can't iNGEN simply create a "Gigatyrannus rex?" Anyways, I don't think they'll use a Giga/Rex hybrid, but it'd be a cool idea.

Like you said, you could only fit so many on the list. I agree with this list. All dinosaurs mentioned are very underrated. I agree with Ceratosaurus' placement ;)

I like it a lot. I'm glad I'm not the only one crazy enough to believe it (or at least use it). That will give Dilophosaurus a slight advantage where else it fail. Also, I'm rooting for Utahraptor. Of course.

Those are good ideas Delta. I see Deltadromeus around the one ton mark. How do you like that I'm using your Dilo theory?

Do you consider Deltadromeus to be 1 ton? If not, then maybe a Smilodon would be a nice change. Dryptosaurus, Irritator, Austriloraptor, I think Aucasasaurus isn't 1 ton, or at least is at the edge. Oh and Orkoraptor seems like a good competitor.

Very good story, is the prologue, right? but ultimately it is a great start, and I'm very interested to follow the further adventures of the protagonist ;)

I think a Rex/Giga alliance would be awesome for the movie.

Great list, but I would have added Tarbosaurus. Second biggest tyrannosaur, and yet its pretty unknown?! That sounds like an underrated dinosaur.

I've seen a lot of maps of Isla Nublar/Sorna/Muerta. But I think the best Isla Nublar map is that of the reverse drop. Just a perfect shape!
