Terrance's Story: New World Chapter 5

Once again, not sure what to say. Beginning of the journey today, enjoy. Bad Genetics Terrance and Thorn are enjoying their kill. They are unaware that they are being watched by two unseen threats. Thorn suddenly sensed one of them, and Terrance sensed it too. Terrance, having seen, and used, this tactic before, immediately begins looking around for a second threat. Terrance was right, and a Rex that they hadn't sensed charged from the side. Terrance quickly turned to face the threat, a sub-adult female, and Thorn had seen the other, a sub-adult male. Terrance caught the female, and threw her to the side, and Thorn did the same with the male. Terrance suddenly recognized the two sub-adults, they were the offspring of the pair that killed their parents. Terrance roared at them both, and they ran away. They were going to chase them, but decided to continue eating. When they finished eating, Terrance let his hatred get the best of him, and began following the scent trail. They walked past many familiar landmarks, and even past their old territory along the way. Some of the vegetation had grown back, and herbivores were starting to come back. Terrance wanted look around, but he continued following the scent trail instead. Seeing the territory was coming back to life inspired Terrance. He knew the area would grow back to what it used to be, and he wanted to return after he took out the siblings. Terrance figured that it would only be a few days at the most, but what he didn't know was that the other two had different plans. They knew Terrance and Thorn were following them, and they wanted to get as far away as possible. What none of them knew, was that this chase would last for thousands of miles, over a decade, and lead them into a new world.
