T-Rex White - Now that is a very good question! I've a feeling it will be roughly the same size as a T-Rex, though perhaps sleeker and more agile. :)

Yeah, I don't know nearly as much about snipers as you. I just a .50 cal anti-material sniper is powerful. Tell me which is the best Mr. Happy, so I can write that down instead. Please.

@ Something Real

Yes, Thats why D-Rex is one in a kind...

It had such a low chance of such a thing happening (The exact DNA Combo) That it happens, after Millions of cloning attempts.

Scientifically, larger means heavier. I'm assuming you mean lengthwise Oxalia is longer than Rex and second to Spino. That said recent studies put Spino at 55% LIGHTER (not heavier) than Spino, and until a few years back, the Spino fossils found were accepted to be from a 50 foot long individual, and only recently has that 60 foot long stuff been claimed.

X_PADEN_X - Your theory is quite interesting! I, hmm, think that the prospect of locating a mosquito that was lucky enough to bite all of those animals at once and then be unlucky enough to be trapped in amber represents an astronomically low chance. That being said, this is science-fiction - anything can happen! :)

Each of you has brought up some extremely fascinating ideas concerning the D-Rex! I, too, am curious if the creature will sport a sickle-claw upon one of its feet or hands - I'm certainly interested in knowing what sort of aspects the snake DNA it possesses will grant it. :)

Mr.happy, That is the best cannon on Patel yet, its probably the most accurate.

To explain how the masasaur DNA Was acheived, Let me explain that, Back then, much like today, Animals washed up on shore, Dead (Or alive, which would make it beaced). The Mosquito, Then comes and bites it.

Bingo, Dino DNA.

However, A washed up Ancient cuttlefish isn't super promising. However Most Of the states and Canada were underwater for a very long time...

The reason I say its washed up is, Why would you cross breed it, You know very well that you've no idea what it is...

i read Ultrasauros is now considered a junior synonym of supersaurus

I also noticed a DILOPHOSAURUS skull in the top left corner. The logo is purple. At least Dilo is hopefully getting a comeback.

Oxalia was bigger than T. rex. In fact, it was second only to  Spinosaurus.

I like the sound of the Mososaurus. I wonder how it will be executed, maybe like those Orca shows gone wrong, exept you have a giant killer Dinosaur on your hands.

Yeah, Amphicoelias, Ultrasauros, and a few other sauropods are what I like to call the problem dinosaurs. Until more remains are found, I remain skeptical about the true size of Amphicoelias.

I agree with Carnosaur on that one. Lighter at least, maybe shorter in length too.

that was at the back of my mind while writing this, but i guess life finds a way.

that's a problem too, but i just found that the estimations being incorrect was one of many problems with this one ;)

Rex Fan 684Dinosaurs ForumThe Problem With Amphicoelias

I remember reading once that most scientists feel that a land animal could not weigh more than 200 tons or so. It would have trouble moving if it was any bigger.

I think the biggest problem with Amphicoelias is that the only fossils are now lost.

CarnosaurDinosaurs ForumA comparison of the Big Four

nope. That's a common misconception based on exaggerated skull measurements and a leg bone which was 'larger then Sue's' When, in reality, other leg bones, were smaller then Sues. It is my belief that Rex is larger then giga

I see. I'm more of a shotgun guys when it comes to close range. Can't swing the barrel around to take a fatal shot you say? Smash it with the stock, and then kill it for marring the finish on your gun. I'm the guy who, if I'm stuck on an island and only get two weapons, will take a sniper and a shotgun, and remove the butt pad on the shotgun to use the stock as a Melee.

When you said a .50 cal anti material sniper rifle with scope, that narrows it down to every .50 BMG ever built, such as the Barrett M82A1, M82A2, M82A3, M107, XM500, the Accuraccy International AW50, AS50, the McMillon Tac50, and the Cheytac AR50. Just to list a few.

Lord VaderJurassic World Forumwill the dinosaurs be sterile?

Like I said, it's just a theory. Maybe with normal dinosaurs, they only filled the holes in the strands, but D-Rex, having two species morphed into one, may have a higher concentration of Cuttlefish DNA. That's my take on it though.

i just had an idea. it could very likely be a rattlesnake. some rattle snakes have horns and that could be a reason to name it diabolus

I think you made some very interessting points SOMETHING REAL. I think the toe claw would look bad-ass. As for the snake, it probably has vemon. But it also might have a strong tail, like a snake.

Melee weapons, sorry bout that.

It would still pretty awesome shooting a pack of raptors with it.

As it stands, our theory is that Cuttlefish DNA is replacing frog DNA. If they are indeed sterile, most likely all female, as males are more aggressive and would compete with each other.

I don't know what to say. Perhaps Patel is much like book Hammond; Willing to do anything to make a buck. Maybe it was on purpose, for a show perhaps.

Evan123Jurassic World ForumAnalyzing the New Specie- (SPOILERS)

Ok, my theory is similar, the mosquito got hold of the raptor, snake and tyrannosaur DNA millions of years ago. It then got trapped in sap, presuming that they are still using that method. Then comes the cuttlefish, I think they might be using its DNA instead of frogs to complete the dinosaurs DNA strand but it then reacts differently with the spliced DNA of the Diabolus Rex allowing it  the camouflage!

cuttlefish are alive today, their DNA is rather easy to access. as for the mosasaur...hell i dunno...Let's see with what they come up with, shall we?

You forgt the Aviary. I think it means some form of pterosaur, likely Pteranodon,  is in the movie. And, whatever is in the gentle giants petting zoo.

but how would a mosquito bite an under water animal like the cuttlefish? thats the same problem i have with the mosasaur. how is the dna obtained?
