Now, unless you live on an island full of Dinosaurs, this news probably won't be too interesting...

I've already given you your Spoilers warning.

Kay SO.

We're analyzing D-rex today.

Now, A little Head cannon I've got: D-rex, was an accident.

No one is stupid enough to create a bloody "Predator" Like animal. I'm assuming, They Either: Intended to create a new species, That would begin allow them to try and Breed Hybrids with different combinations to put into the Petting zoo, Or, When retriving DNA, They got a jumbled up spceimin, And, Couldn't realize that, at the time, It would grow into something like that.

The assumption that it is a Lab accident, Makes the most sense.

The second head cannon, Is more accurate. Using the Mosqutio Technique (even though it doesn't work) Notice how a mosquito doesn't bite just One person? The same went for Dinosaurs way back when. Now, If said Mosqutio was living in the North America reigon, Near the coast of say, BC? In one day, It Bit a Velociraptor (We had those) A Rex (Had those too) A cuttlefish, (Prehistoric, of course) And an Ancient snake. Looking at todays species in BC, It's really believable the above listed animals. This Mosquito Proceeded to go and rest on a red wood, Where it was trapped in Sap, Then fossilized...

Bingo, Dino DNA!

The Contaminated DNA Is grown, and hatched. As most the species in JW Are, Due to our limited knowlege of Genetics, We'd only be able to tell, Once it was already late in development in the egg.

Now, I'm assuming when It was born, Park staff were like:

"Dude, What the hell?"

"It looks like a Snake With legs"

"Looks its licking me--- OH GOD ITS EATING ME!!"

Heh... Over time, They kept feeding it Dead Animals, Which, was fine... But, Hamanda tells us, that That is all it's ever eaten, If it gets hold of a living animal, It will develope a taste for it, and its all down hill from there.

That, Is Hamands Problem with D-Rex, He wishes to put it down, but It's too exspensive/ Loss of money to do such a thing. Park Management wishes to one day train it as a park attraction, which is their fatal Error.

Now, Something Real Came up with the Head cannon, That it can see in Infered. Remember in the Leaked Screen play, that Hamanda and Bryce look at its "Red Eyes" In the dark?

That is D-REX, They are looking at.

Now, Over the course of D-rexes Life, It had obvisously Maimed some workers. Hence the Warning signs, Plastered all over the Paddock.

Like Here.

Notice How it says to keep in contact? By Radio Uplink, They need to keep in contact, because in the Control room, They can see D-Rex, Perhaps using Infered? If you loose contact. You die.

Now "Diabolus Rex" Interesting Name no? It can be translated into "Devil King" , Diabolus has the word, Diablo, Which is spanish for Devil, Or Demon. And Rex, Means King... Now, It probably earned this name by: Having Horns on its head, Or, Killing.

Now, I plan on drawing this out, So Please, Look for my new disscusion on possible concept art for this.

I'm picturing something, A bit smaller then a Rex, With a Raptor and Rex Bone structure, With possible horns near the eyes, Much like Carno, With Red eyes.

Thats all for now folks!

but how would a mosquito bite an under water animal like the cuttlefish? thats the same problem i have with the mosasaur. how is the dna obtained?

Carnosaur

MemberCompsognathusMay-24-2014 8:31 AM

cuttlefish are alive today, their DNA is rather easy to access. as for the mosasaur...hell i dunno...Let's see with what they come up with, shall we?

Nature doesn't deceive us; it is we who deceive ourselves.

Ok, my theory is similar, the mosquito got hold of the raptor, snake and tyrannosaur DNA millions of years ago. It then got trapped in sap, presuming that they are still using that method. Then comes the cuttlefish, I think they might be using its DNA instead of frogs to complete the dinosaurs DNA strand but it then reacts differently with the spliced DNA of the Diabolus Rex allowing it  the camouflage!

How far can we push nature before it pushes back?

This actually helps me like him a little more. I hope he has horns.

I don't know what to say. Perhaps Patel is much like book Hammond; Willing to do anything to make a buck. Maybe it was on purpose, for a show perhaps.

Mr.happy, That is the best cannon on Patel yet, its probably the most accurate.

To explain how the masasaur DNA Was acheived, Let me explain that, Back then, much like today, Animals washed up on shore, Dead (Or alive, which would make it beaced). The Mosquito, Then comes and bites it.

Bingo, Dino DNA.

However, A washed up Ancient cuttlefish isn't super promising. However Most Of the states and Canada were underwater for a very long time...

The reason I say its washed up is, Why would you cross breed it, You know very well that you've no idea what it is...

X_PADEN_X - Your theory is quite interesting! I, hmm, think that the prospect of locating a mosquito that was lucky enough to bite all of those animals at once and then be unlucky enough to be trapped in amber represents an astronomically low chance. That being said, this is science-fiction - anything can happen! :)

@ Something Real

Yes, Thats why D-Rex is one in a kind...

It had such a low chance of such a thing happening (The exact DNA Combo) That it happens, after Millions of cloning attempts.

Interesting idea, kinda make sense
but I still don't like it

X_PADEN_X - Ah! Yes; I can see that taking place. However, are we certain that the D-Rex is one-of-a-kind? If it is, and it manages to kill-off multiple raptors, T-Rexes, and other dinosaurs while single-handedly terrorizing Jurassic World, it's going to be one extremely terrifying and powerful creature! :)

MemberTyrannosaurus RexMay-25-2014 1:55 AM

I don't know why, but I keep getting this image in my head every time I think of the D-Rex:

The "Sharptooth" from the Land Before Time. That T-Rex could jump for something so large! :)

MemberTyrannosaurus RexMay-25-2014 1:58 AM

Blast it! I couldn't upload the image for some reason! Sorry about that. :(

It's alright, I Watched all the land before times (I had one hell of a child hood)

I think it's a perfect Idea.

X_PADEN_X - That's so great! I only ever saw the first - it was enough to break my heart when Little Foot's mother died! :)

I keep thinking about him as the Carnotaurus from Terra Nova.

I always picture the D-Rex as a JFC Rex with the crests above its eyes from the WWD Gorgosaurus that came out last year. That's just me though.

GOJIRA2K - That's an excellent analogue! I like the image; was Terra Nova a movie? :)

MR.HAPPY9097 - I can definately see your point of view with regards to the D-Rex! Maybe that's what we'll get when the film finally debuts! :)

MemberCompsognathusMay-25-2014 8:06 PM

@Something Real,

Thanks. Terra Nova was a TV show on Fox before it was canceled after 1 Season. It was a shame, it was a great show.

GOJIRA2K- Ah, I see. I'm so very sorry it got cancelled; it's never any fun when the shows we like are taken off the air. Regardless, I'm very glad you enjoyed it while it was on! :)

The idea of it being an accident sits way better with me! It's a great idea... Honestly, I'd rather they just used a carnotaurus that turned out to be way too much to handle, simply because the camoflage was unpredictable and unexpected. What if it didn't use the camo until a certain age or something?

Just wishful thinking...

However, I expect it to be more of a greed thing. Like any company, they're going to keep trying to outdo themselves, and that can get pretty ugly when the business is genetics!

And actually, the point of almost any movie is to have an enemy you hate and want to see destroyed. What if greed turns out to be the Darth Vader of the JW series?

MemberCompsognathusMay-26-2014 9:27 AM

It might have DNA of a horned snake species which gives the name "Diabolous Rex".

Lord Vader

MemberTyrannosaurus RexMay-26-2014 1:01 PM

But Darth Vader was badass.

I was thinking the same thing Rodan, Rhinocerous snake if I'm not mistaken. That's the type of horns I picture D-Rex having if it does at all.
