Aswell...
Really...
You litterally only used 12 words to define your oppinon.
Perhaps maybe adding some backing to it besides 12 words would improve this discussion greatly.
Welcome To Jurassic Park

Nice chapter, looking forward to the next.
I just was trying yo see if people were still on this forum
Huh? Id say 50/50, spino did have size and weight and terrible claws. But giga did have agilty and bite on his side. Dont know! :)
Forgot about Amargasaurus (or however it's spelled). Still, being lighter and more agile would still be useful to avoid the tail.
Ya you're right
I'm just gonna state this now, the sauropods in gigas environment were mostly in the 10-20 ton range, there was also ekrixinatosaurus.
If I were you, I'd wait until I had the computer before making topics and such. It's a tad annoying to go to a topic and it's only a sentence or two long.
Giga was a sauropod slayer. It was lightweight compared to Tyrannosaurus. Why? When you hunt sauropods, you don't need to be extremely muscled. It doesn't matter if you weigh 5 tons or 50 tons, when 100+ tons of sauropod comes crashing down on you! you're screwed. So, it makes sense that way for Giga to be lighter than Rex, a similar sized theropod in length and weight. Rex was an ambush hunter and killed dinosaurs similar to its size or smaller, so a heavier build would be more useful in that situation. If you're fighting something similar in size, you want to be more heavily built.
Sure you can and I'm typing on my phone so I can't make huge posts but when I'm on a computer I will type much more
Rex isn't THAT much stronger then giga and he has a decently powered bite also. Gig as bite is just as destructive also and I say 50/50
PX (mind if I call you that? It's shorter and easier to type), don't just blindly say something such as that. I agree with you, but give some reasons more than just the bite and agility.
I'd say 50/50. Both were large, Giga had the deadlier bite and bigger teeth. It was likely more agile as well, and quite possibly smarter. Spino, on the other hand, had large arms and claws which would be able to take care of a Giganotosaurus with little difficulty, but the issue would be that it would likely have to rear up to considerable hieght to use it's claws for combat, leaving it an easy target to be pushed over.
thetis they are very evenly matched
Between 65-35 and 70-30 Rex's favour. Tyrannosaurus Rex had the highest bite force of any land animal ever discovered, it's teeth were designed specifically to crush anything unfortunate enough to be caught in its jaws, and it was intelligent. On the other hand, Giganotosaurus may have been more agile and faster, but it wasn't as heavy or physically as strong. If it was one vs one, that's my reasoning.
NO FLAME WARSbut giga would win it is just more agile super effective bite and it would just be to much for spino
Too little known about spinosaurus to be sure, but I'd say, based on moderate estimates, 60/40 in favor of giga.
Of course, if it were a more natural fight, with a pack of gigas... 99.9% Giga win.
In a 1v1, 63/37 in favor of Rex.
However, a family unit of, say... 2 Adult Rexes, a subadult, and an adolescent, vs a pack of Giga's... 60/40 in favor of Giganotosaurus.
id say 55/45 in gigas favor
I agree, giga 70/30, because spino is not ment for combat. (Light bulid, dull teeth ect) while giga has advantages such as (stronger bulid, deadlier bite, more powerful).
I'd say 50/50.
I'd say Tyrannosaurus 60/40.
Well, yes, I can see the odds in the favor of the Giganotosaurus, at about 65/35. I do agree that it would be a pretty good fight.
Alright fellas, I just approved this and the Giga vs. Spino thread. I don't think I need to say it again, but after yesterday, but lets keep the debate clean, flamefree and void of me closing it. If I get one complaint they both get locked.
Have fun.
Wow! This is an amazing work of art!
