What are the next Dinosaurs you guys want to see?
Nice fight, man. Glad to see it back. Can't wait for part 2.
Yep. Though it might not stay that way
It always comes back...
Did i break the curse of choosing the loser of the battle?
A whole new season is gonna come out and this is only the first battle, just because i had to.
Ya made another EDB? Interesting!
And c00l fight.
I highly doubt that Mr. Green (JP III Rex) is junior, because Junior had a different color scheme. He was blue and dark green like his father, Mr. Green was puke light mossy green.
Also Mr. Green made no indication he was junior, no references to his injury: no scar or even a limp.
I hate this fan theory for a variety of reasons.
I think I remember that people from the production crew have came forth to shut down the idea of that the Tyrannosaur from JP3 is the baby from the TLW.
The way I’ve always looked at that theory was somebody had made it up along the way because they were upset over the T-Rex loosing, and so they started spreading rumors that it was a juvenile and also the one from TLW. The one from JP3 was listed at 37 ft and was a buck, which is in perfect size range for most T-Rex skeletons ever found and likely the average size.
Sue was measured to be 43 ft in length and has always been described to be a very large specimen. On the same hand, the Spinosaurus in JP3 was listed at 43 ft as well, a full 17ft under the maximum size affiliated with it in the year 2001.
So, I’ve always begged the question that why is it some people choose to believe that the T-Rex is a juvenile and undersized when they’ve also failed to consider the Spinosaurus being far undersized as well? This isn’t me being aggressive, this is just food for thought.
Interesting theory.
Guys, can we please not have off-topic posts like this? Thanks so much.
And Spinosaurus Rex has officially returned
Oh trust me, it most certainly was! Almost the first thing I'd do everyday after class is go directly onto the JP forums to see what may have sparked a debate/ flame war XD
This is so interesting because of how funny it is to read now. Must've been a blast to be a part of this.
Don’t worry LazyFish, I’m here too XD. Goddamn, the TIMES we had lolololol!
... Funnier to read this in 2019 to see that Rexfan predicted the future in one of his first comments on this thread... but then again, this is essentially me just talking to myself since this thread has been dead since 2015 at least...
Oh yeah, I agree with you. perhaps a company make these genetically purer feathered velociraptors and they encounter Blue
Yeah, but I mentioned the scene concept so that the general audience could understand why we get frustrated with the scientific inaccuracies.
Well given the de-extinction technology is no longer InGen's because they sold off half of their clone dinosaur stock and perhaps most of their cloned embryos. I think other start up gen-tech companies will start tinkering with the de-extinct technology with their own scientists to make genetically "pure" dinosaurs, remember its Dr. Wu's fault for the reason why the dinosaurs look the way they do.
If they remade the franchise, then I think they should make the dinosaurs scientifically accurate. Otherwise, it would throw off the audience if it got introduced in JW3 (unless they have a scene where Blue interacts with a pack of accurate wolf-sized Velociraptors).
But that's just me.
A remake in the future (VERY distant future- like, by the time we all have grandkids or something lol) I'd like IF THEY DO IT RIGHT. Make it a bit more akin to the book, but still incredibly unique. More accurate Dinosaurs (fix the movie monster thing by having the Big One a genetically modified raptor to be WAY bigger and more aggressive than the others). Also, maybe make a couple jokes about things that made a little less sense in the movies or books? I just feel a remake in the VERY distant future that is more accurate and, more importantly, unique.
It will be good for an other Dino-films or JP remakes. But I doubt about JW 3 - don't change the style and design in the one story.
I don't think a remake reflecting updated knowledge is either necessary or desirable. Maybe incorporating in future films would be better. I think JP is a little like Godzilla in that we know it's a story and the message is what the movie is about- essentially cautionary tales. There are plenty of good documentaries out there about dinosaurs if people want to see them.
It would be nice but these are genetically modified dinosaurs we are talking about so they are by definition man-made monsters using dinosaur DNA and modern animals
Wait, really? I didn't even notice. Nice attention to detail.
It was alright. I love how the Allosaur's hands are non-pronated like the real animal now. It's a bit of a wrench in established visual canon, but I consider it a welcome change.
So many Lost Worlds. It's like...inception. Lol ;)
I could offer more suggestions: The Lost World (1994), The Lost World (1998), The Lost World (2001), and The Lost World TV series (1999-2002)
It looks cool, but it didn't fit in with what was going on, so unfortunately, I will have to pass it off as missed potential. Sorry.
Correction. It was dead... until you revived it.
RIP Carnotaurus
You are one of my favorites
I looked at this movie, it's really exciting, Jurassic Park has always excited me since I was a kid.
bubble shooter
This series is super dead.....I need to somehow get my hands on these movies.
JP Velociraptor wins because it is too strong and too big. It will kill all of the other raptors.
So do I. I prefer Dakotaraptors to the JP Velociraptors, but JP Velociraptors are still cool. Still, a JP Velociraptors would absolutely wreck 3 real Velociraptors lol
I prefer realistic raptors over movie ones, but I still love JP/W raptors.
Ganimes V.8
By that logic, 3 house flies can kill Godzilla
The Real raptors win, because 3 are better than 1.
