It takes a lot of work to make a Film.
I look forward to the new films coming up. I've seen old movies at least 5 times.
Gavin Having the dinosaurs slowly dying is an interesting–if rather saddening–idea, especially since that realization is essentially what Michael Crichton's The Lost World ended with.
As for the accuracy factor, the idea is that BioSyn is essentially aping InGen's work and occasionally modifying it in their own way, such as with the souped-up Spino and the hyper-intelligent Raptors. So most of the dinosaurs would have the same kind of look as in the original films.
I think that with more recent scientific discoveries uncovering that most of the Dinosaurs in Jurassic Park didn't look the way they were depicted in the movies I would have gone a somewhat different direction...
Firstly I would have set JP3 on Isla Nublar, where the first movie was set. In the years since the facilities have fallen into disrepair and nature has taken over.
Whomever the cast would be would at first be in awe of the magnificence of the Dinosaurs freely roaming the island, but as the movie progresses the characters uncover the truth that the Dinosaurs are dying, with the ultimate message of the movie being an echo of what Dr. Malcom said - when you realized you could, you didn't stop to think of whether you should.
I really like this idea! Would have made for a really interesting movie, most likely better than the movie we actually got. Especially like how Wu finally gets his own character arc and becomes a central character! Honestly, if I were to make Jurassic Park 3, I'd probably either do something similar to this, or something more similar to JP3 but in a better way.
I like this idea a lot.
g00d fight
My brethren are aliiiive!
Baryonyx and Megalosaurus were in the 1st season...
I feel like the estimates for the Dinosaurs are a bit small, especially for Irritator, though that might just be me. Nice fight.
Rip Mah-hunga bunga saurus.
Go go Yutyrannus!
Nice fight. So when is Megalosaurus or Baryonyx coming into the fights? (Just as a suggestion.)
Yeah, but what about a Megalosaurus?
I promise the next EDBs won't have raptor abuse.
We thank Yuty :D
Or, at least I thank him.
Well the Yutyrannus is the owner of Stop Raptor Abuse because he killed the dino which killed the Raptors.
Nice. Like to see you took my log suggestion lol
Please call this fictional number to stop Velociraptor abuse today:
Number-000-Stopraptorabuse-444
c00l fight tho
I really would like to see Gigantoraptor vs Tarbosaurus.
Nice finishing move.
YAY! IT'S BACK!
I haven't created any, but maybe the next two dinosaurs can be Yutyrannus vs. Megalosaurus? (Just as a suggestion.)
Nice fight. Can't wait for more. Can the next fight be Yutyrannus vs. Megalosaurus?
Yeah, I made a few as well. I think two? I don't remember.
I will be sure to look back on what some of you guys have created and begin making a decision on which two dinosaurs I will have pitted against each other :)
I would like to see your fight series. It sounds awesome.
Didn’t expect the spinosaur to die from its own hands XD. The battle was still intriguing.
Fatality
Thanks! Can't wait for the next one!
Ok,i will try to.
I understand, but I also kind of have to disagree. People have made plenty of long battle with just those few abilities. Hell, I've even done them myself. The trick to making longer fights are being descriptive of the environment and creatures themselves, personalities. That way, you can introduce many new ways to finish the fight, like having one trip over a log, giving the other Dino the upper edge it needs to finish the fight. There's also the fact that those few abilities can be used in so many different ways. Every creature's bite has a different effect, like Giganotosaurus doing bleed, Tyrannosaurus crushing the bone, and Spinosaurus being able to hold its opponent in place while slashing at them with its claws. Every claw attack is different. Every creature's charges are different. It really comes down to how each attack is used, as well as the Dinosaur's other attributes (speed, agility, etc) and tactics. It's the tactics that really make a fight what it is, like a T-rex dodging a Triceratops charge at the right place so its horn gets stuck in a tree. A Spinosaurus luring a Tyrannosaurus into the water where it has the advantage and death-rolling it while trying to rip it apart and drown it. List goes on. Sorry for the rambling, just trying to help with making the fights longer.
I can explain why they are kinda short:
I can't make really long fights because they don't have any others attacks than slash, bite and charge, they are not like kaiju that have many attacks and abilities.Which makes it really hard for me to make them keep fighting on.
... Well that was an unexpected finishing move. I have some minor qualms with the measurements and I think Suchomimus would have one, based on the measurements you gave for each, but other than that, good fight. Though may I suggest fixing some of the grammar before posting and making the fights a little longer?
Great to see this fighting series back! It was always really good, despite being... short lived lol. I mean, I'd suggest reading through some of the fights throughout the Dinosaurs Forum, specifically going for fight series that had long runs and noting the differences between their earlier and later fights, and just seeing what worked in general. I tried to do that with my fight series, and it really helped a lot!
Nice! But I personally think Utahraptor would usually win due to being 5 feet longer and proportionally MUCH bulkier, but cool fight anyways!
Might want to see EDB,A.K.A my series.
You probably should.
Fights are really popular now (i dunno how popular they were back in your time on here though)
